Elon Musk: Power or Just Wealthy

Hello, today I will be talking about whether Elon Musk is just wealthy or does he have power and influence. In my opinion these two do not go against eachother but hand in hand. This is why. First I believe that Elon Musk is heavily influencial on social media espically to the younger generation. This is because Elon Musk has 200 million followers which allows him to connect to a lot of people around the world. He is also able to share opinions which may be flagged if other people do it. This is due to Mr musk owning Twitter(X) so he is allowed to put what he wants. I do not believe that this is good because he can share opinions to impressionable people who do not have full knowledge on the topic.

Elon Musk is also the wealthiest individual alive with a net worth of 200 billion. This will enable Mr Musk to have power as he will be able to afford to make investments into big things such as Tesla and SpaceX. Connections would be built when he invests into these businesses. A real life example is that now he is one of Donald Trump closest advisors due to the influence and businesses that he owns.

I believe that wealth builds power but also power builds wealth showing a connection that they have. This is because if you are rich you are able to make investments and build your connections allowing you to get into higher positions of power and influence on other people just like Mr Musk did. However , if you have power you are able to get money easier by being well paid or having set up businesses for you that you run so you earn money almost passively.

Overall I believe that Mr Musk is the one of the most weathliest and influencial people on this planet at the moment. This is because he is able to communicate and communciate with millions of people due to social media and the large following he has. Also due to him being one of Donald Trump advisors he is able to affect decisions which will impact all of America showing the power that he has.
