Is Elon Musk's power a problem?
This post was written by a student. It has not been fact checked or edited.

Elon Musk is a very wealthy and influential man, so he has a lot of power in this world. This leads me to the question whether Elon Musk’s power is a problem. I believe it is, and I will prove so with my next arguments.
The first reason I think that it is because he has recently been affiliated with many right-winged parties which leads me to believe that he can convince people to vote for them as he has a lot of influence over people due to his high status and 200 million followers on his social media platform “X”, where whenever you open the app, no matter whether you follow him or not, his tweets are the first to pop up , so uninformed people tend to follow whatever ideology he follows. He can also “bribe” people through specific giveaways or events to vote for the party of his choice. With this much influence and cash, he can spread fake news and no one would bat an eye since most people think wealth = intelligence, which Elon Musk is, just not politics-wise. Proof for this is that he spent over 250 million dollars to get Trump elected.
Which brings me to my second reason, ever since Trump has been elected, Elon Musk has been his right-hand man. With this Elon can have a say in major political decisions and can also move them in his favor as I mentioned in my first argument and through his current connections.
Some people think that Elon Musk’s power isn’t a problem, as he has made many scientific breakthroughs in the form of his many companies, but he can use these to get even richer and fund more right-winged organizations, which most people don’t think about on first thought.
In conclusion, Elon Musk might’ve created many very successful companies and has amassed a major following of people, but what he uses his money and influence for aren't as great.

Elon Musk's influence has conflicted most and has formed an argument. One side says that, Musk has transformed industries and companies like Tesla and SpaceX, pressing for change in electric vehicles, space exploration, and renewable energy. However the other side thinks that, his dominance in these fields, along with his important role in making public discussion through platforms like Twitter, (newly named X), raises concerns.
Critics and other personnel argue that Elon Musk's vast wealth and power allow him to control markets, media perceptions, as well as policies throughout the world. Musk's unusual leadership skills, style, and problematic statements all contribute to his image of power. His ability to impact millions by making certain decisions without care also raises questions about the stability and focus put on ethical or corporate implications.
While Musk has shown great leadership and future visionary skills. His values, influence and public trust overshadow these great qualities. Leveling revolution with moral responsibility and accountability is significant in securing that his vast power doesn't become an issue.
