Is Elon Musk's power posing a problem?

In my opinion Elon Musk’s power is representing a major problem. An example that supports my point is that he has a lot of power through his influence over social media. He can reach a lot of people with posts on his platform X. A lot of people can be easily influenced by things they see online and on social media. Another example is that he now also has a lot of power due to his political position in the US and his relationship to Donald Trump. In the position he’s in he has the chance to influence Trump according to his choices which gives him such a big amount of power that it can be considered as world changing. What I also find highly critical about him is the amount of money he has and what he’s choosing to use it for. For example, he paid citizens entitled to vote a lot of money for them to vote for Trump. This not only shows that he is spending the money he has for influencing people's democratic choices but also that he is willing to do everything to gain even more power. Him supporting right winged parties like the AFD in Germany should be seen really critical. Doing that he is influencing a lot of people to vote for these parties which is slowly endangering our democracy and peace. I don’t think that one single person should have such a big amount of power since some important and even world changing decisions rely on him.

I would just like to add to what you said about Musk supporting right wing parties. At president Donald Trumps inauguration Elon Musk did what most people saw as a Nazi salute. Although many people argue it was just a roman salute, or that he was giving his heart to the crowd. Many German news outlets are convinced it was a Nazi salute. This could pose a major problem for a large percentage of the US population. Especially because a lot of American fall into the minorities the Nazis persecuted.
