What makes him so powerful?

Firstly, Elon Musk is a very rich and successful business man. He owns big companies such as Tesla, Space X, and he bought X [former twitter] he’s the richest person in the world alongside Jeff Bezos who owns Amazon this is what makes him such a powerful person.

Secondly he’s friends with America’s current president Donald Trump and made a speech with him and last year he said whoever lives in swing states in America votes for Donald Trump in the election they would receive 1,000,000$! Which I think is crazy.

I think it’s amazing how as a child he was so poor and now as an adult he’s one of the richest people in the world he went from rags to riches, You would think that he would have some sadness about people that live in poverty and give them some money but this hasn’t really happened.

In January 2024 he took to X and told his hundreds of million followers his anti pathic opinion of a refugee charity. Since these comments were shared in the media the charity receive bitter and selfish criticism from the public, if I was a member of the charity I would have felt hurt reading the negative comments. This shows his power is being used in the wrong way.

In February 2022 Elon Musk donated starlink terminals to Ukraine to help them during the war against Russia. In October 2022 he asked his followers whether Ukraine should consider giving up some territory to Russia in exchange for peace. This made an outrage on the Ukrainian leaders. Elon Musk response was to announce plans to stop the funds for Starlink units, but he later reversed his decision. I think the Ukraine citizens would feel really angry at this decision.
