Written standpoint on women in space

I believe that stereotypes and expectations is the hardest problem to fix, as these expectations have been built up over centuries and won't go away that easily. We as a community should not judge or assume what others are capable of by their gender, age, race, or religion. In this age and century social media has a huge influence over young children and adults, if the media is full of these stereotypes, then people will feel pressured to meet these expectations. This could end in bullying for those who do not fit stereotypes. Stereotypes limits the full potential of a person, and expectations make people believe they are not good enough. Countless people receive harmful comments or behaviour due to the way they are perceived in the media, and the way they are expected to behave. People who are targeted by stereotypes and expectations may feel they are not welcome and should not exist. A singular group of people can and should not be described the same way as they are all capable of different things. People who have physical or mental disabilities are targeted heavily by stereotypes; they suffer from dark humour and jokes. The motherhood penalty is a good example of how others believe a person can not achieve or do things.
