Should the Syrian Government jump to elections straight away?

As a Syrian myself. Syria has been through pure chaos lately and after the fall of the Assad regime and HTS also other rebel groups taking over the country there has been some controversey whether the new Syrian Government need to hold elections or let leader of HTS Ahmed al Sharaa take the place as the president.
As of January 29th 2025 Ahmed Al Sharaa has become president and here are some few reasons why I agree with how the Syrian government dealt with it. If a dictatorship collapses a counrty needs a period call the transitional period and in this time which could be 4-5 years the country's government needs to deal with the country's weaknesses like the Economy which is only 8.97 billion $ and the inflation in the Syrian bank has been a problem as well because once the country starts printing money, the currency will be in mass hyper-inflation, infastructure will be very hard to deal with because of all the bombed buildings and all the rubble that has to be cleared. Education is key for children and after all the propagnda being absorbed into their brains the Syrian Education departments need the governments help and money to create a proper learning syestem.
If the Elections were to take place now in the country it would be proper chaos similar to the Arab spring in 2011 and this could have caused a 2nd civil war since of the lack tolerance that the Assad Government have showed to the Syrian people. On the other hand elections straight away can offer a democratic impression to the people and this may show that Syria can help itself to become glorious like it was before the Six Day war. This could enforce stability in the country and in the Syrian peoples hearts.
Overall Syria will be a very tricky country to deal with and sort out whether it's with the poor economy and education or the infastructure Syria has a long way to come. Thank you for Reading Topical Talkers.
