If all ages are influenced by misinformation, should there be any age limits on voting?

“If all ages are influenced by misinformation should there be a voting age?”
I believe that if all ages are influenced by misinformation, they still should not be able to vote at a young age. I believe this as most young people are not looking at things like politics and voting as it does not interest them and most of the votes are for things that don’t interest them as fewer than half of the 18- to 24-year-olds that can vote actually vote. Another reason why I don’t think young people should vote is because young people don’t play tax so voting does not affect them and they would vote for all the wrong things like less time at school or ice cream before dinner. This further shows how young people should not vote as it how if we do let children vote the world as we know it could change drastically in al the wrong ways.
On the other hand, people could disagree with me as although young people are not affected as much but they are still UK citizens, so they have the right to vote. Another reason why thy should vote is because 55% of 18–24-year-old have been a victim of online scams and 46% of 8–17-year-olds have been a victim of online scams so if anything, older people are more influenced by social media. This links back to why young children should vote s it shows that the younger you are the less vulnerable you are to online misinformation.
However, I think they are wrong because adults are old enough to go with there own ideas rather than someone else however the verry little amount of children that do get influenced will take someone else’s ideas.
