Technology has significantly changed sports and it can help make sports more fair, but at the same time there's a risk of increasing the distance between competitors

On the one side, using technological systems such as VAR (video replay) make referees make more accurate decisions, without worrrying about human errors. Also training tools can help athletes improve their performance and protect their health

On the other side, someone who disagrees might think that access to advanced technology depends on the financial means of clubs and countries. This means that wealthier countries or groups can afford better equipment so that gves them an important advantage over other competitors

For these reasons, while technology can help make a match more fair it can also create greater disparities in athletes perparation and capabilities
