Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

Being a person who is intrested in sports, I am intregued about the fact that the use of technology in sports has become an international factor.
Technology makes athlets equal in ways that can't be achieved by human ability only. Not only that, but I also belive that technology has become an essential for sports, since it has helped not only by improving the way people exercise and train, but it assured experts safety with their health as well. For example there is this one device that helps athlets check their heart rate during a game or while training, which has prevented many health problems and injuries. I belive that technology in sports has a positive impact on the athlets and actualy improves their performance in the sport.
A major aspect about technology is that it can make sports more equal if used properly and from people who don't want to take advantage of it.
Allthough some people belive that technology dosen't help and that it makes the sport less competitive, we can not deny the fact that it's great assistence and a powerful tool for both athlets and judges.
