Can technology make sports more equal, or does it only widen the gap between competitors?

Technology can make sports much fairer but it also comes with many problems. For example many technological devices give unfair advantages in some sports like skiing where some ski suits give advantages. But also many types of technology make sports more equal like football, using VAR and goal line technology it makes goal checking much easier for referees and using that makes matches much fairer.in motorsports Formula 1 teams frequently push regulations to the maximum with advancements like DAS or enhanced aerodynamic parts to gain speed advantages which is a major upgrade but makes the sport very unfair. Tennis has Hawk-Eye technology for line calls, with many tournaments moving to automated calls instead of human line judges which makes it much fairer.in all i believe it makes the sport more unfair than equal.Someone who disagrees with this might think that it makes sport much fairer however I disagree because with all these advantages other competitors/teams may not have the money to purchase the technology for this therefore it makes sport less equal more than fair.
