Does the use of technology make new world records less impressive than those of the past?

In my opinion technology it´s very usefull but it can´t be used in sports because it can replace fantacstic records as the Usain Bolt´s record or MIchael Phelps one. Technology can make the competition unfair for the ones that only use their real capacity and the maximun effort for trying winning the competition. For example, there are some poeple in athletism that use shoes with carbon plates which allows them running faster and obtaining better results. Instead, people as Usain Bolt had worked so hard for obtaining bests results in history. That´s why it is unfair.
It´s very unfair but it makes athletes to make a huge effort and to work hard for breaking records in which technology has been present. So it could be a motivation for many athletes.
In my opinion there must be different competitions for the people which use technology and the ones that don´t use it, for been fair to all the participants of the tournament. The records sould also be valid for each tournements. For example, if someone breaks Michael Phelps record with the use of technology it should be only take into account for the competition in which the use of technology is permitted.

I think it is a well known that in the past, breaking world records were too complex to achieve because of the quality of equipment they had, heavy shoes and simple machines. But nowadays, tech has improved in almost all areas of sports and even other endeavors. Tech has provided high quality resources that improves the performance of athletes worldwide. However, some people may argue that technology is makes breaking world records less impressive than it used to be, they believe that in the past, athletes depended on their natural skills and talents without the use of fancy technology, people think in the past, they worked harder than ever to break world records and they think they were more impressive. But in the past, athletes struggled too much because of the quality of their resources but now tech is making the quality of resources high so that athletes can perform smoothly without having problems and stopping on the way because of the type of material they have. Technology is not going to complete the challenge for that athletes but it is just to help in completing the challenge easier. In conclusion, technology doesn't make world records less impressive but easier to complete.
