Creativity is an important skill. For me, you have to try many things to be creative. Always try to be unique and don’t be scared to say your opinion, because if you don’t say it, someone else will say it and may get the credit for it. You are the one who can say it first, and you can be creative too.
I used to think like this all the time, but then I understood that I have to say my opinion even if others do not respect it. Many people are really creative, but they are scared to share their opinions. Also, many people are creative but don’t practice their creativity.
During the lesson, I used creativity when I shared my opinion and tried to be unique in my answers. I was not scared to speak and say what I think. I also tried to think in a different way from others. This helped me practice my creativity during the lesson.
I totally agree with you on this. Creativity is about trying new things and being creative isn't really a special talent because everyone can be creative if they tried.
One thing i learnt about creativity in this lesson is that tech is capable of improving sports. From the paper plane activity our group worked creatively by making and combining ideas on how to turn a totally squished paper in to a paper plane that was capable of entering the basket, which helped us to improve the outcome by making it better.
Creativity is a very extraordinary skill for you to learn , you could be very creative and make different types of inventions like swimming googles that don't make you cheat they just tell you your racing time . I have been creative by being able to draw different items and so could other people . You can be creative no matter what you end up doing in life .
I used to think that I couldn't draw or do anything in life that was good or expected for me to do . I expect that some people will be excellent at different things than others as others might love to do drawing other people might love to be creative at creating something outside or in a game I would say being creative is a excellent skill to have and do everyone is creative no matter what they have done .
I agree with you because i am good at designing stuffs and letters but when i began, i was very horrible at it and never thought i would get to this level i find my self. being creative is also about not giving up and trying hard, and also making meaningless things have meaning.
Same here, creativity is a skill that needs to be harnessed. The world would not have reached this level of development if not for the creativity of individuals. I am creative when it comes to filmmaking; despite my youth, I enjoy writing. Creativity enables players to invent new moves and strategy which will help them improve in their field of sport. I agree because curiosity has been the key factor behind the revolution of man from the stone age to the bronze age to the iron age till this very day, man has still not rested in bringing new ideas to the table as he is constantly looking for ways to make life easier and better. Without this creativity, modern day inventions couldn't be thought of not to even talk of being brought to life. Creativity is one of the most important skills a child should learn in his or her early stage. Not only is it fun to come up with creative ideas, it also helps the world economy at large. Maybe the Wright brothers, who invented the aeroplane, dreamt that they could fly and they actually tried to make it possible. Maybe the people who invented social media always dreamt that they could go around the world but not move an inch. Creativity is what make the world go round and more exciting. Personally, I used creativity to have beneficial conversations with others which gives me more inciting perspectives of life and the future.
I strongly agree with your opinion! I believe that creativity is the most important skill for children as it allows us to invent new things with new ideas too. I also think that it's important because it helps children's emotional development for their brain growth. Furthermore, creativity is a crucial key factor for our world to grow as you mentioned as well. I also experience many creativity-related activities both at home and school when I was young and those experiences still help me as I continue my life for a lot of things that I do these days.

One thing I learned about creativity in this lesson is that it builds the inner mind and helps to express feelings.

For me creativity is not a talent people are born with. Its a skill we can achieve trough hard work and practice. Ive realized trough certain experience in scale modeling that creativity comes if we actually believe we can achieve it. I used to be clueless on how to build miniature models but trough years of hardwork and patience, ive found that i shown creativity in what i used to struggle.
Some people think creativity is a innate talent and they simply aren't born for it. But i believe if they actually decided to work for creativity they will acieve it.
So if people didn't limit their believes, then they will see actuall results in their progress on certain aspects than needs creativity.
One thing i learnt about creativity in this lesson is that it is a unique and wonderful talent that each and everyone has . Some may decide on using it wisely while others might use it negatively and some might just want to stay were they are. it deals with imagination. Imagination is to form mental images and views while creativity is the act of turning those mental images into reality. And some people are ready to turn their imaginations into reality.
Our group worked creatively by speaking on topics which have been assigned by our teachers and we used our creativity and technology to broaden and expand on our topics, which has helped us in our grades and in learning.

First of all, we have to understand what creativity means and it is known as the act of using your initiative and mind to create something new or improvise. For example, when I was much younger, I was a later bloomer and could not really understand things as fast as others could so I always thought that I will become dumb. When I entered middle school, I began to shine and things like maths that were hard before became very easy for me. Now, I was also not creative but I learnt to watch educational shows and I also learn to motivate myself extra positively and these things really came in handy because I will never forget the time, in my grade nine when I was to explain every thing about myself without writing an essay. Yes, I know it sound funny or hard to do but that was the same way I felt and all of a sudden, something creative in me just snapped and I knew what to do. I am a jovial person and I smile a lot and when I say a lot, I mean A LOT. So I just decided to draw things I like and things that make me, me and the teacher was so proud and I aced the activity.
Well what I am trying to say and what I learnt from this is that creativity is useful and it is in each and every one of us we just have to be motivated and give our best and now I am in grade 10 and I can draw, dance, sing, play chess, write stories and have been given the privilege to be a topical talker with the name 'philosophical_fox', and for me that is quite an amazing name. : )

Aww you deserved that star! I totally agree with you, everyone feels they can't achieve something, until they give it a try, its all a matter of time. Learning is a process and you can't just be good at something in a day. Being creative helps to explore outside your comfort zone and try new things, and with just a little time, you'll ace those things you thought you couldn't do.
Let me use a typical example, my friends and I were to paint an image of an sort. We were thinkin on what to do because we were all lost, but then we thought let's just have fun and work together! Soon some were splashing paint on the canvas, others drew lines with colorful paintbrushes, and I was even part of those who finger painted. In the end, our group was awarded the best for being the most creative(even if it was a simple colorful mural).
In essence all I'm saying is creativity isn't just something you can have as a skill or just a side quirk. Using my example, with creativity we also learned an equally important thing working together. I think everyone needs to be creative, because with it we think and perform more broadly and intelligently when we are creative. We make better decisions and come up with different solutions for many problems. In addition, topical talk has taught me how to be creative by teaching me how to think before I speak and to be more constructive in my discussions.

During the airplane challenge, I noticed how there was a tie between a girl that had an airplane crafted from brand new paper and a boy that had one from a crumpled sheet. The latter used his skills at a maximum, while my other classmate barely put in much effort, mainly because she didn't exactly know how to properly throw. However, they both used creativity. The girl used glue in order to make the airplane more aerodynamic to compasate for her lack of knowledge on how to properly send it into the air. My other colleague concentrated on throwing the airplane in just the right way, so that in would travel further.
Now, I think this showcases just how much someone has to work in order to reach the same level as someone who has access to better resources. This simply doesn't seem fair to me, because sports competitions are supposed to be about how good the participants are in their chosen category, to show off their skills. However, when one team has more advantages than the other, the goal changes. Suddenly, it all becomes about who has the best technology, bought with money, or who has better engineers to compete with that extra money. This results in athletes engaging on the front lines and a lot more people, so called experts backing them up from behind. So is the whole battle happening on the field or behind the curtains? Unfortunately, I think it is starting to shift towards things happening behind the scenes, which I'm not exactly too fond of. I believe sports should remain about the actual sport, not how well tech can push just some participants forward.

I learnt many thing about creativity and being creative, what i learnt from the lesson is that creativity has to do with believing in yourself and instinct and believing that you can work with any situation and any thing you have, i was in a group that received a crushed and less organized paper, at first we were thinking it was not going to be possible for us to make it but still, we went for it ,
after all the team work and putting all our heads together, we were able to make a paper plane that flew directly into the basket. what i am trying to say is that i showed creativity by learning to work with whatever i have and make something out of it, also team work is important because joining heads together gave us a brilliant idea.

Well creativity is a virtue and a quality I think everyone should have, despite the age. Using your mind to think outside the box and innovate is all creativity. There is no dull mind, everyone is a creative and intelligent person. I think one thing I learnt about creativity in this lesson is that everyone's creativity is different and everyone's ideas and thoughts matter, when we all bring out little sparks together, it makes a blazing fire that no amount of water can quench. Our group worked creatively by listening to everyone's ideas, bringing them together and then making an amazing project.
I feel that its good to be creative and think outside the box. When my friends and I were making a paper plane, it just wouldn't fly, it always came crashing down, even with lots of wind that day. Then one of my friends had an idea. "Why don't we leave the wings straight instead of folding them" and voila! It worked out perfectly. She was being creative and it worked! She had the ability to venture outside her comfort zone, think of a new idea and the courage to speak up about it too! That is creativity, using your mind to create new ideas. In this lesson, I learnt that creativity isn't about making new things but creating ideas that solves problems too. In a food and nutrition practical, my group decided to make a stew but it turned out sour. We were all frustrated because we were going to fail but one of us said " Let's try adding some salt and a seasoning cube." We tried it and it actually worked. If not for her creativity, we won't have gotten an A in food and nutrition.
Creativity is a very important skill that people have. For me, creativity is when you generate your ability to apply imagination to knowledge and experience. Creativity is also something you put your mind to, as in you can YOUR original ideas by your imagination, also in the production of artistic work that you can think of or draw and then make it. Also, your creativity is all about YOU so if somebody talks about your creativity, don't worry about it because, if you like it, then that's all that matters. One thing I learned about creativity in this lesson is that, you can be creative in ANY way and whatever way it is, its perfect as long as you like it.

Working together worked because we shared ideas and tested each other's design to see what worked best. Creativity isn't a solid description but rather a broad spectrum of our demeanours. We can't really pin point on what exactly defines creativity. Often times we overlook circumstances that might seem mundane but instead it is the pinnacle of ones creativity.

I'd say for this Topic Talk Festival, I felt the spark of creativity when reading others opinions and reflecting on how distinct every comment appears to be. We all know that creativity is simply being unique , coming up with things that have never happen. Creativity widens up ones mind to different things . I think that creativity is something that is present in every person, some to a greater extent and some to a lesser extent. Sometimes the younger generations are much more creative than the older ones because they mostly create unique images in their heads that they then present to those around them. I would say that creativity is a broad term and it is different for everyone, everyone is creative in their own way. For example, when we were working on the paper airplane challange, one group made an ordinary ball out of paper and tried to participate with it, naturally, we did not accept it because the task was to make an airplane, not a ball. Of course, I would also call it creativity, because that particular group showed its uniqueness while everyone else stuck to the given task. All in all, I would say that creativity sometimes comes without thinking and it is always necessary to use it in life because it can also lead us to success.
During the activity we were given a sheet of paper and a stapler, and we wanted to use the last one but it wasn't so easy. We thought a little bit and we decided to use it to decorate it, so I think that's the first time we used creativity.
Then, when we were given questions we try to understand what we truly thought of them and to give examples and explanations that were new or not so simple. Furthermore, we also tried looking for more points of view, avoiding the obvious one. Therefore that's the second time we used creativity.

Some people are born with creativity, others slowly develop it but no matter what it will always be considered one of the greatest and most important skills. But what is Creativity and what would the world be like if there was none of it ?Creativity means the ability to produce original and sometimes valuable ideas without it almost nothing you use today will exist even the phone/laptop you are looking at wouldn't exist.
There are two scenarios which can happen if this skill never existed.
• if humans never had any creativity they would go extinct quickly since humans weren't equiped with things like claws or sharp teeth they only survived because they made some kind of spear or weapon.
• if humans used to have creativity but suddenly stopped life wouldn't be that bad but humans won't invent anything new so we will just stop advancing.
Here is an example to show how important it is, in our math session we were split into groups . One group was randomly throwing answers to questions and when it came time to answer all of them were confused and and had tangled all the answers together but another group was able to devise a system where a certain person answers a certain question and in the end they revise it they scored a perfect score.
Creativity is a must-learn skill for the advancing and organization of humanity without it we can't continue living.
Creativity is the ability of generating new, original and valuable ideas, solutions and products. It is like thinking outside the box and getting something new and surprising for everyone. Creativity involves imagination, innovation and problem solving. Also, it makes people not fear from failure.
All of us were born with creativity. All of us are creative in different topics. At first, we were desperate about our hobbies or interests, and we were frightened at the beginning but after some time, we become so intelligent and talented.
For me, in the past like from 2 years, I was a dumb in chess and I lost a lot. I wanted to be like great players such as Magnus Carlson or Hikaru Nakamura (great chess players) consequently I became training a lot in openings and ideas until I became one of the best players in my school and I won 2 championships.
In my school, there was a science project last week that was needed from every group (five members). On the display day, I noticed that every single group was creative like in the power point's design or in the choose of words. This confirmed to me that even the least one may be creative.
To conclude, without creativity, humans would be like AI robots (same mind and ideas).

First of all, AI is not creative. It has the same answers that are not changed. For me, when I ask AI a question and tell him if it can give more information and data, it gives me the same answer over and over again. It memorizes not understands. For example, imagine if you (Eva) and your team (Olivia, Tejus, Kevin and more) are wanted by your manager to do research yet everyone must do it individually. If all of you used AI, there will be no creativity, and all your research will be the same so that you must do research by depending on your skills. In my school, research and projects using AI are forbidden because there is no innovation in them since AI always tells the same answer over and over again. Also, in The Topical talk festival, topical talkers cannot write using AI because they must rely on their innovation and write examples from the real life. This allows us to consume more skills like brainstorming, Problem-solving and writing.

Hello there! I think what they meant was that when a human installs info to a robot, they dont give it with emotion or anything deep, no creativity, no jokes, no nothing, it's just serious or emotionless conversation between a human and a robot, so if someone asks this robot about the information the robot will simply just say it not adding anything more than the information no emotion because they're just robots they didn't install emotion in them. However, if a human says these information he probably have her brain in a heart so maybe while meant talking in the information he get a sudden idea and suddenly wants to say it and share it with the others or maybe suddenly say something that they didn't want to say so they back up immediately and so on or maybe they get surprised, angry or sad, because they're human, and they have feelings so I mostly think that that's what they meant by humans would be like AI robots and I hope you like my comment.

When I was little, I didn't think that being creative was important. I thought being creative was just making new ideas, but now I realize being creative is way more than that! Being creative is about how we think and solve our problems. In a world that keeps changing, we need creativity to adapt and find new solutions to challenges. Creativity helps people express their selves in different ways, it could be through painting, designing and even speaking.
here's an example on how I use my creativity: We had a big group project and I was chosen as the group leader, being the group leader might sound cool, but it comes in great responsibility. The teacher said that the group leader was in charge of distributing what the members bring and make, and I decided that our project would be to make a water filter. Everything was going well, until one of my group member forgot to bring their things. She forgot to bring the cloth that's supposed to catch tiny particles of the dirty water. Everyone started panicking because they thought they would get a bad score. This is where my creativity becomes usefull, I realized that there was an alternative: a paper towel. I folded it multiple times to make it thicker, and it worked! In the end, my friend and I got a good score on the project, simply because of creativity.
Creativity comes when there is a problem that must be solved and these problems when solved makes us as humans have good future.
So the one thing I learned ( or actually it was not one thing) from creativity is, to see a problem and think how to solve it. By thinking about our daily problems we will create something.
For an example, people at old times started having problems about the knowing time so they thought about how to solve it and creativity came to their mind by first measuring time through shadow but it was not working at night so they measured time through water then through sand until the digital clock.
In conclusion, creativity is the main process of inventing anything.
Personally i think that creativity is in each person in this whole world, but its just buried deep down and u just can't find it, just like ur talent, u can't find it unless u search for it. So if u want to be creative you have to search for it, and u cant find creativity without talent because the most thing ur creative at is ur talent. And if ur creative in ur talent, you'll be so proud for your future achievements. So, search for your talent, for as long as it takes, be creative and be confident.

Creativity was an interesting concept during the activity for my group. We are a competitive class, and as such we all had some sort of motivation to win. Originally, we all tried making paper airplanes as the activity suggested, but the a bit of innovation kicked in when we realized “paper airplanes” was anything we could throw on target. As such, my group decided to ball up our paper to make a predictable shot, and simething we could easily control while still being inside the rules. Once our first testing happened, the other groups followed our idea, and soon enough we all had different models designed to take up as much space as possible to hit the target, while being throw-able. I believe our creativity here modelled what we see in the sports industry, because when one person has a new idea and releases it, many follow trying to capitalize and improve on the design if it’s popular. Summarizing, I learned how creativity reshapes an industry and improves designs until a new idea comes along. I also learned how trends are developed because I realized if people like an idea, they will spread it.
One thing I learned about creativity in this lesson is that it means thinking carefully and trying new ideas to improve something. For example, during the paper aeroplane activity, our first design did not fly very far. Instead of stopping, we discussed what went wrong and decided to fold the wings differently. Working together helped because everyone shared ideas politely, and we combined them to make a better aeroplane. This showed creativity because we tested, changed, and improved our work.
I agree that technology can help athletes in the Winter Games, such as lighter skis or special suits, but I believe talent and human skill are still the most important. Technology is helpful only when the athlete knows how to use it well. For example, just like our aeroplane needed a good design and careful folding, athletes still need training, practice, and creative thinking to succeed.
However, I also think too much technology can be unfair because not all teams can afford the same equipment. This could mean that technology takes attention away from creativity and skill. My friends and I were participating in an activity where we had to make a group presentation for a class. There were eight of us in the group and each of us had our own strengths and weaknesses. The teacher said the presentation was to be created in Microsoft PowerPoint. When it was time to create the presentation, I discovered that I was the only one who knew how to use a computer professionally, so I was in charge of creating the presentation. Someone else had an intriguing amount of wisdom about the topic, so he told me what to write, bit by bit, everyone contributed something and the project was done in due time. It was good that we worked together because the work was done faster, and more ideas were brought into the picture.
Honestly, the paper Aeroplan activity changed how I look at creativity. I realized it's not just about having a gift-it's about testing and tweaking until it works. Our group was greats because we treated every crashed flight as a lesson rather than a failure.
Working together helped us think outside the box and combine our ideas to improve the design. it showed me that when we support each other's crazy ideas, the final result is way better than anything we could've done alone.

Creativity is actually mind blowing because it requires a person ability on thinking outsides existing thing or programing thing backed up with interesting ideas; it requires an individual's ability to think deeply in order to derive hidden treasures or undefined secrets. From our economic founders, among the 4 most important skill to be practiced as topical talkers, creativity is the most important why? because it deals with thinking, one has to speak while others listen to find solutions to the world problems which leads to the critical thinking and derivation of best ideas or alternatives to problem solving.
Creativity is a key to wise exploration because your ability to think widely leads to generating plans on how to most thoughts or imagination come true.

1) In those ancient days, man had nothing to wear, or feed on but a person had a thought on what nature could offer and was able to identify that all natural resources around us are not just for beautification but for its important and usefulness, now we make clothes from most resources, houses for shelter are constructed and so many more, out of creativity.
2) Remember that the world global network that help connect multiple user today was based on creativity and that's why with the knowledge and idea of man, artificial intelligence has been programmed for the beneficial of all, everything in this world is based on creativity because it was based on creativity that earthly things were created, out of power and idea.
3) Most advanced country today and experts are great now because of creativity.
Creativity is something that was started by asient humans .When they did not have cloths materials,tools for hunting and
tools for farming .Bat they came up with tools using stones,bones and branches and other more like the axe head they
