Refugee Week lessons

Download our free teaching resources for students aged 10-16. We cover the biggest issues of our time to help students to learn, think critically and talk about the issues affecting their lives.

Refugee Week is observed between June 16th and 22nd 2025. This year's theme, "Community as a Superpower," presents an opportunity for schools to foster understanding and engagement with the experiences of refugees.

Our collection of free teaching resources address complex global issues, challenge misconceptions and celebrate the rich contributions refugees make to our communities.

What's the difference between a refugee and an internally-displaced person? Why do some refugee crises get reported on more than others? And whose responsibility is it to help?

Explore the answers to these questions, as well as a host of refugee-related queries, in your classroom.
