“Guilty”: should Mr Trump run for president?

On May 30th 2024 the world watched as Donald Trump became the first former US president to be found guilty of a crime. Many of his supporters have vowed that this will not affect their vote in the election later this year. Should people convicted of crimes be allowed to run for president?
