Leadership for Change live lesson

In November 2024, we brought together over 4,000 children from 15 countries to take part in our online live lesson in partnership with Rolex.

Students engaged in lively activities on leadership, heard from Rolex Awards Laurate Felix Brooks-church and took part in polls and discussions with peers from around the world.

  • What time do the live lessons take place?

    The live lessons took place at 10am and 3pm (GMT) on Wednesday November 13th to accommodate schools in a range of time zones.

  • How do I sign up?

    Registrations are now closed. Sign up for Topical Talk Festival 2025 to take part in our next online live lesson.

  • Do I need to prepare anything for the live lesson?

    There's no need to prepare anything in advance. To get the most from our live lessons, you'll need a screen, speakers and a stable internet connection.

  • What is the format of the live lesson?

    The live lesson was delivered online by experienced teachers at The Economist Educational Foundation. We introduced key words and concepts, set polls and challenges and lead a range of activities on leadership. Students heard from inspiring leaders and had the chance to get their questions answered.
