I will be sharing my standpoint on prisons. This is an important topic because on the 7th of January Jose Aldolfo Macias Vilamar( or Fito) escaped from his maximum security cell.He had illegal things in his cell and after his escape riots happened around Ecuador.
Yes the prisoner should be set free.
Some people might agree with this statement because there is no point of prisons if they are not going to give the prisoners the punishment they need .Also they might agree with this statement because people will probably think that they can easily escape if the the security is not paying attention.Also Jose Aldolfo Macias(more known as Fito)did sneak in his cell weapons,alcohol,electronics,he had parties and more,so how do we know the security was paying attention? Also, if prisoners are not reformative then they won’t learn to be good citizens.
No,prisoners should not be set free
People might not agree with this statement because the public might think that they should still go to prison even if there is no point because they might become a better person still because they will probably not want to go back to that place again.
