What’s the best way to report about the Russia-Ukraine war:by sharing personal experiences or facts and statistics?

I think that facts and statistics are both important when reporting about conflict and wars. I think this because the personal experiences are about the citizens and their life during the war and it helps us to understand how they feel. Facts are very important too because they tell half of their story and give key information.
The first example that supports my opinion is that if someone was just telling you about facts about the Russian and Ukraine war you're not really going into full detail because they're only telling you about what happened, not how people feel. That’s why both are important. Yulia Starostina, who is a Russian, independent journalist has said “Russian journalists are not safe.” Despite this she is still risking her life to find out facts and perspectives to the world because she believes that the world should know about this war.
Robert Guest, who is the deputy editor of the Economist said that “Facts are really big and important.” This supports my view of the importance of facts for reporting on wars.
