I think Syria should prioritize rebuilding all the destruction caused by the civil war they were just in

Written standpoint on Syria

One possible benefit of rebuilding first is the people is Syria will being able to go back home and live normal lives due to buildings, jobs and the economy going back to normal. Thus, the economy will grow again due to people working and giving money back to the country which means that rebuilding would go faster and smoother

Another possible benefit of rebuilding first is the fact that Syria would be able to trade with other countries because if they rebuild and look strong and powerful other countries would have to take them seriously and this means Syria would be able to acquire more resources which could go back and benefit the country

One downside of them focusing on rebuilding first is that they could focus on something different such as a new leader or bringing refugees and wrongfully imprisoned people back to their homes and back to their family's. But if the new leader is just as bad as the last they won't be able to rebuild and they will be in a worse place than they were before and if the refugees and prisoners come back and they have no home to go back to and no job to get back on there feet are than there lifes are gonna be a lot harder.

In conclusion I think that Syria should focus on rebuilding back to a stable country so that they can trade and provide homes and jobs for there citizens. But I also see the benefits in getting a new leader aswell as helping refugees and prisoners. I am however leaning to think that rebuilding Syria has more benifits than if the focused on another problem.

  • I don't believe that the number one option should be to rebuild the buildings and such from a personal view.I think possibly the best way to navigate situation is possibly to figure out the new government and then everything sort of falls into place because if we find out about the government then major changes in community happen rebuilding hospitals, people's mental stability, helping those in need, and you get a clear view of the intentions of the new government. We need to able to find out if this a stable place to live in or not depending on the government intentions. So the main priority in my opinion should be the government.

  • I disagree with the option of rebuilding buildings from the civil war they were just in, but instead fix the government then figure out how to help the community. If they don't do this and rebuild the buildings first, living a normal life will be challenging because it may cause violence and corruptness due to the fact that without a stable government the civilians may be leaded to another civil war.
