Hi , You are a character with a great role and I admire her very much because of your great efforts. I want to ask you these questions: 1. Did you manage to fight hunger in all the places you reached?? And what is the biggest obstacle you faced? 2. Is hunger the biggest problem threatening the world, or are there bigger and more important problems??
Thanks free_snail! Now put these questions in the form above to make sure they get to Mamta.
It doesn't open, when I click on it it exits the activity by itself
If that's the case, you can add your questions to the comments instead!
I would like to ask Pete Pearson
In light of the economic crisis that Lebanon is going through and the high rate of poverty, 35% of food goes to waste
How do you propose implementing the new Spanish law(It stipulates imposing fines of up to 64,000 dollars on restaurants and commercial markets that store leftovers, so that they must distribute the leftovers to NGOs and food banks) to limit food waste in Lebanon, but without implementing this project as a law in the Lebanese constitution?
What an interesting question! Please make sure you add it to the form so that it gets sent on to Pete.
My question to the leader of the global initiative, Pete Pearson, at the basis of all this great thing that you have done, have you personally been trying to make your diet more or less orderly and sustainable?!
Do you think that a person is able to be sustainable on his own without the motive of society?!
I was drawn to the topic of creating a world in which people and wildlife can thrive together and how it is linked to food that is wasted. I would also like to know what are the new and advanced sustainability plans that you have created? A country like South Africa (Somalia - Chad) there are major famines despite the richness of those areas in resources such as diamonds and agricultural lands. How did these famines occur and do you think that it is related to waste or that there are hidden parties that loot the resources of those lands and prevent their people from them?
I would like to ask
Why is our world now taking more measures regarding food waste, and in the past, specifically in the nineties, the economic conditions were worse and famines spread terribly, but there were no severe measures like the one that is happening now
for example:
_A Swiss restaurant imposes a fine of 20 riyals on each person who does not complete his plate in order to reduce food waste.
_Spain is moving to reduce food waste a bill provides for the imposition of fines of up to 64,000 dollars on restaurants and commercial markets that store leftovers, so that they must distribute the leftovers to non-governmental organizations and food banks.
Hello
My question is not deep, but I would like an answer to it.
1. How can you benefit from food waste or in any way you can recycle it?
2. Do you find this work difficult or somewhat difficult?

hello i want to ask you
What is the role of decision-makers in reducing food waste, especially if people are poor?
Hi, I have two questions:
1) How can we make Earth more sustainable whilst the cost of living goes up?
2) Food waste is big in my county, how would you convince everyone that they need to help without them feeling like they are hard done by?
And I have questions for you. What do you think will be the problems that will arise when the cost of living decreases?...Think carefully. And if you are a person who leans towards the environment, what is your role towards the poor who want food as soon as possible?
Thank you reflective_journalist. Your question really got me thinking. I think that once the cost of living decreases, the first problem is adapting to the change, depending on how sudden it is. Secondly, a problem can be that the government do not spend money quickly because they may think that once the cost if living is over, they can quickly overspend. How do you think this could be avoided? Personally, I think that tending to the needs of the poor could be a big problem during the cost of living. The reason for this is because once the government help them, other people can easily say that they need financial help too. I think that people should donate to charities, the government could even give money to charities to keep them going.
Hi
First, I liked your work on preventing food waste
I want to ask how many questions
Did you fight hunger in the places you visited??
Did the places you visited benefited from the advice or not?
Is there a shortage of food waste in the places you visited? (Has there been a shortage of food crisis)?
I want you to give us advice not to waste food and to preserve it (because in our country the food crisis is spreading)
Thank you
Can we send the excess food (the leftovers) to places that people may benefit from, and what could these places be? Other than these orphanages and places, I mean places that you can benefit from leftover food, but not I hope I have delivered the question in a useful way!!
We all know that the world is full of creatures that consume a very large amount of food every day, also if we eat lunch, the amount of food waste will increase every day and it will be very large, which means that as we age, the amount of waste will increase more and more
will be my question
1- What is your plan in the coming years to get rid of or reduce the amount of waste that will be a huge number ?
Food waste is a widespread problem in various countries of the world,
And what inspired you to work in food waste management?
What are the main challenges you face while working?
Has the COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on your business? And how the application of nanotechnology will contribute to the problem of food waste .
Does the World Food Fund help in solving the problem of starvation?
Why hasn't the problem of famines been resolved in Pakistan and many other countries?
1. What is your position on the amount of food that is wasted in the Gulf countries every day, even though there are countries such as Niger that suffer from the death of many of their citizens as a result of lack of food? 2. How can you announce an initiative to exploit the excess food in the Gulf countries and distribute it to the poor countries?
I am very sensitive to the issue of food crises because the country
of origin of my parents is affected by that. Which is your biggest disappoinment in your fight against hunger? Why did you fail? And which is your biggest success?
