AI and its power

I am writing from a standpoint to tell you about AI and the power that it has.AI stands for artificial intelligence and it looks like it might take over the world.I have quite a few reasons that might have an opposite point of view. My first reason is:AI is taking our peoples jobs as it has already taken more than 60% of jobs in some places. By 2030,in the UK,more than 30% of jobs will be lost and that is only in the UK.AI might have the power but it is being powered and controlled by humans which means it is not self-powered.

AI is on its way to destroying the world. Without a doubt, AI has made this world an unsafe place as now privacy and security have been changed. More and more people are using artificial intelligence to hack people and use a hidden identity to trick the people in the outside world. Some people are even taking celebrities' voices and using it as their own. You might think that is okay because they might not know how to sing and their lifelong dream is to be a singer but that is not alright especially if you don’t have the celebrities permission.AI has that power-with humans- to do anything.

On May 11 1997, Gary Kasparov played an AI called Deep Blue at a game of chess and since he was called the chess grandmaster everyone thought Gary Kasparov was going to win.By surprise, Deep Blue successfully beat Gary Kasparov with three draws and two wins.That was their sixth game.This shows that AI is really powerful.

The Bad: Potential bias from incomplete data

“AI is a powerful tool that can easily be misused. In general, AI and learning algorithms extrapolate from the data they are given. Overall, I believe that AI has a lot of power with the intelligence of humans. Many AI experts believe there is a real chance that human-level artificial intelligence will be developed within the following decades, and some think it will exist much sooner. How such powerful AI systems are built and used will be very important for the future of our world and our own lives.
