Although it was kind of complicated I still love the fact that I learned something new as always every new week as I open the quiz I feel this voice telling me that there's no way I will leave without learning something new and indeed it was true through this quiz and other related topical talk abilities I've learn't what a true topical talker is all about it's all about using our knowledge and cooperative skill to help solve or find solutions to different problems around the world I would like to hear what others think of the festival THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN ECONOMIST AND TOPICAL TALK ORGANIZER
I have got 3/5 and I want to say that we thank the daily quiz because it helps us to gain more knowledge and skills from the quiz and we appreciate so much
Out of the 5 questions I got 4 I learnt that the NATO originated from the Cold War ( World War 2) I learnt that many people died in the conflict between NATO and Afghanistan because of the terrorist attack that hit the famous Twin Towers walked on by Phillipe Petit. I learned that allied countries always stick together no matter what according to the Article Five. I also learnt from research they are the most successful alliances in the world and have more than 40 allies in NATO which really shocked me in how many countries help each other in times of need I have learnt a lot about politics and this topic has enlargened my knowledge very much. I believe America will still be with NATO as they know they can't do it by them selves also they share information worth looking at I believe that more countries will join NATO or make more alliances with other countries.
In conclusion this brightened my knowledge and mad me to be a more talented topical talker.
I hope I get a star or maybe even 3 stars I hop this was a good comment🌹
Thanks for sharing, funny_volcano! Great to hear about everything you learned. Your point about allied countries always staying together is interesting. I wonder if they always respect this in practice?
Thanks for the star, I think allied countries have always stayed together when there in need as they signed a treaty to help each called the Article Five and is still believe NATO really tried when the terrorist attack happened when they were fighting for peace and justice as though Donald Trump said that they didn't fight in the front lines and weren't fighting strong enough although 1100 troops died from various allied countries in NATO, also another thing I learnt is that Japan and the USA signed after a treaty to help each other. They gave military weapons and tech to help in the war and also let them fight in there soil ground and have been good friend over the past years and I learned together they have established peace and fairness and collaborated in solving issues like cyber threats. I can't believe NATO started just because of the Cold War and how they have cooperated ever since 1949 with Sweden and Finland joining near 2023 to 2024 and not a single nation has left. NATO is a big part of history and have helped keep peaceful and stable promoting justice when life is unfair.
I hope I responded to this question nicely , I hope i get a star from this comment this has been a tough but amazing event, I hope I even get three but for now see you Topical Talkers!
I got 5/5 in the quiz. Very intresting. I recommend if you want to learn some new things about NATO !!!
It was kind of hard when i got to the part about the cold war and because i failed just that question i got a 4 out of 10.
I did my research on why it was created and i found out it was formed on April 1949 by western nations to provide collective security against the soviet union during of the cold war. This was mainly to deter the soviet expansionism in Europe.
Thanks so much it has made me to learn out of the boundaries of just my country and i appreciate it.
I got a 5/5, meaning that I know a lot about NATO, except for the fact that I forgot that China was never part of NATO until I remembered that China and NATO have different values and goals, and China is often in opposition or competition to the member countries of NATO in the opinion of many critics.
I am glad to get 4 out of 5 correct. Questions were straight forward except last 2. NATO is one of the hot topics now. It's a bait to learn now more about the behind and frontline of NATO. NATO countries were 12 at start and gradually grew members over shared interests. Currently more than 40 countries are aligned. But it's an important moment now to realize that the alliance is weakening. Countries are building complicated political interests that slowly drifting them apart. NATO needs it's countries.
Nonetheless, the alliance is a great part of history.
This was very interesting, I learned a lot out of this quiz! I think it's very interesting how such a strong alliance is now facing (and causing) so many issues, showing just how quickly something like NATO can turn from being such a solid, reliable alliance, to something causing so much instability and anxiety in the world. Thank you Topical Talks.
I got 4 out of 5,I really liked this quiz it was very funny. And I also learned a lot about NATO.Somethings that I learned is that NATO was by originated the Cold War (Cold War 2).Something I also learned is that China is not a member of NATO.
Out of five I got all correct
I thought the quiz was interesting and helpful because it reminded me of the key facts about NATO and why it was created. It also made me think more deeply about whether NATO is still important in today's world. The questions were clear, but they made me think carefully before answering.
Overall, I enjoyed the quiz and I'm happy I got everything correct.
Can you share your thoughts on whether NATO is still important in today's world?
In my opinion, the idea of NATO being ‘friends forever' is more about strategic necessary than pure friendship. While the alliance has lasted over 75 years, we have to look at it thought the lens of Geopolitics rather than just emotion.
Historically, the ‘glue' that held NATO together was a common enemy. Today, the challenge are shifting towords cyber - warfare and economic security, whice sometimes causes friction between members. For example Europe is increasingly talking about ‘strategic Automony'— the idea of defending itself without relying solely on the USA.
However, recent glabal confidence have shown that when a major threat arises, the ‘friendshi' is quickly reafirmed because no signal nation can handle modern security threats alone. So, are they friends forever? Perhaps not in a sentimental way, but they are partners by necessity as long as their democracy values and security interest align.
The quiz was quiet hard and got 1 out of 10pionts. I felt disappointed but I am still happy because I learnt more from the quiz. One thing I learnt from the quiz is that NATO originated from cold war which I did not know. Another thing I learned is NATO is facing different and various problems and I experienced something in the quiz which is "Do not be eager to do or write a quiz" because I was eager to do the quiz because I love quiz and puzzles which made me fail it .
I hope NATO will still continue to exist and America will continue to support them.
I scored 2 out of 10.
This quiz was a little too hard but it still helped to remind me of topics I might have forgotten during the festival.
I think the quiz was very fun and challenging. The questions were a bit complex but I learnt new things.
I scored 4 out of 10. The quiz was fun but some of the questions were pretty hard and some were easy at the same time
I scored 3 out of 10. The quiz was not that bad but quite confusing. It made me realize that I have to revisit the lesson and study more.
I scored 2 out of 10. I think the quiz was a bit tasking. But it helped me choose my opinion and gave me a chance to decide on my own.
Thank you Topical Talk!
I scored 1 out of 10. The quiz was fun but some were unfamiliar to me and also tricky while some were easy.
I scored 2 out of 10. For me, the quiz gave me an opportunity to test and prepare my mind even though the question were not that easy, they stil helped.
I am pleased to share that I achieved a perfect 5/5 score on the NATO topical quiz, demonstrating a solid graps international security framework. Thought this assessment, I've gained a deeper understanding of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation as a cornerstone of transatlantic stability, founded originally to address the unique pressures of the Cold War. I explore the critical importance of Article 5— the ‘collective defence' clause — whice mandates that an attack on one member is an attack on all. Furthermore, I analyzed the organisation's current landscape, recognizing that while it includes members like Canada, Franch, and Finland, it excludes non-Atlantic powers like China. Most importantly, I've reflected on NATO 's modern challenges, including internal diplomacy and the adaptation to 21st - century threats, preving that the alliance remains a central, though debated, figure in global geopolitics today.
I got 5\5 in this quiz and thank you topical talk for these wonderful quizzes that help us to learn and reflect.
signing off: fair minded elephant
I'm glad that I've known almost everything that was shown in that quiz, and also I'm glad that our teacher walked us through every detail of the lesson, even though I didn't really know what are all of the questions that NATO has to face, but you got to learn something everyday, so that's good.
2/10 . To be fair not bad of a score ! The quizzes definitely help to educate me or anyone with the topic. It’s very useful when you would like to learn something about the weeks topics !
This week I learnt from this quiz that ww2 was also called the Cold War which I never knew !
I also never knew people want to get rid of nato completely! ( personally I don’t think that that would be the best way forward)
Also I learnt that china is not a part of nato !
I learnt much more as well ! This has even encouraged me to do a bit of research of NATO.
Thank you very much topical talk this quiz was super informative and helpful!!!
Anyway I’m off to go research NATO see you later topical talkers !
Can you share what you have learnt about NATO?
I feel this quiz was complicated but it helped give a bit more understanding of what NATO is, why it was created, and why it helps to know when it was created and the purpose, I feel that the quiz was a bit easy and confusing from what I learned in class, it helped me learn a bit more facts about NATO and why it seems so interesting at times, facts were put in this quiz and in class, though, I don't know if I can do this but, NATO, a defense organisation that is currently, if not gone, slipping away from being alliances with the USA, NATO was first published in 1949 to deter military nationalism and the expansion of the Soviet union, ads much as I'm sure, it also was apart of the start of world war 2. 12 members joined NATO at first, 18 more joined since, making 30 members. One of the alliances have been involved in the Bosnian war, and the aftermath of 911 terror attacks and more. that is what I have learned in class, but overall, this quiz was interesting and helpful learning about NATO.
