Period dignity officer: the right man for the job?

Earlier this month Scotland became the first country in the world to grant free access to sanitary products in public settings. Although the new legislation has been celebrated for helping to tackle period poverty, the appointment of a man as the country's first "period dignity officer" has received global backlash.
