Egypt is a very unique country known as the mother of the world. I believe that the most unique thing in Egypt is its food. Tourist from all the world come to Egypt to try the Kochari, Molokai and the greatest breakfast ever that consists of beans with spicy oil, fries and the hot Egyptian bread. It may be simple but actually it has a memorable and unforgettable taste. If you thought about desserts in Egypt, so congratulations, you came to the best place. There are a lot of desserts in Egypt such as Um Ali, Sawabe Zeinab, Basbosa and more. All of them will send you to the Moon from happiness.

I think that all four skills are very important for the festival, I think listening hepls us to get the information properly, Speaking skill helps in expressing our views, problem solving helps in repling wisely to the questions asked, finally creativity helps in expressing our views or solution's creatively

The most important thing to do this festival is to listen and make good comments about the topic. The reason why is because without comments there will be no stars and no stars means no awards. Listening to the point of the topic helps you to understand what it is all about and it helps in making good comments and to have likes and stars. If we are given the opportunity to communicate it doesn't mean that we can turn it into a play and make pointless points but instead we should brainstorm on how make the world a better place for everyone. I think this skills are important during this festival to help people understand what we are here for and continue to put efforts into helping people.

I think that creativity covers it all because ,when an individual is able to create ideas it would go a long way in helping to solve global problems and when one shows creative skills it helps solve problems and it has already cover up for the problem solving skills. A creative mind listens in order to get ideas and produce useful ideas suitable for the festival

In my opinion, the most important skill will be problem solving and creativity. Because all the topics in this festival discuss about real world problems and it do not have any simple answers. So, problem solving skill is used to analyse the issue, do some research and suggest appropriate solutions.
And without creativity, everyone repeats the same points. So, thinking creatively helps us to think in different perspectives and come up with new ideas.
In my opinion, problem solving and creativity is more important than speaking and listening because leaders don't just talk, they brainstorms and suggests meaningful solutions. -

I think we need a lot of problem solving skills as we need to find a solution for the critical global crisis which would be discussed in the festival,
The major thing is all have a different perspective in finding a solution which leads us to get a varieties of solutions, through our comments we do not only get benefited of the award we are also getting a chance to witness other students perspective. -
I think the most important skill will be problem solving since it is a requirement for human development. Think about it. It's vital for analyzing situations, weighing scenarios. When you consider different points of views, that is problem solving. Innovation is built on finding solutions for existing problems. Everything in life can be considered a 'problem' how you go about solving it is what really elevates you.

I think that listening will turn out to be the most valuable skill for me.
I believe that this will prove valuable in the Festival as relevant speeches not just relate to effective speaking, but also relate to comprehension and deep understanding of others as well. With deep understanding, people will be able to understand various opinions, cultures, and even emotions in every topic being discussed. Through active listening, people will also be able to react and answer correctly, without causing misunderstandings as well. Listening also shows that people value the opinions of others and can pave the way for valuable and deeper discussions, which can also make the Festival valuable without having to spend beyond their budget. -

Listening is the most important skill to hone during the Festival, as it enables individuals to remain open to new perspectives and foster empathy for those around them. With a community built on varying backgrounds, it's very important to accept the differences in the world. Since students will be engaging in online conversations, listening will be the foundation for mutual understanding and respect. The principles of the Behavior Code are based on this ideal to ensure students are allowed to express themselves without jeopardizing the speech of another person. Thus, as a fellow Topical Talker, I will be sure to remain broad-minded when it comes to responding to others’ opinions and when expressing my own!

I believe the most important skill will be speaking. It is important to get all your topics out in a way that everyone can understand while still sounding coherent and cohesive in your writing. Anybody can have opinions, but it is how you communicate them that could determine how valuable your opinion is. Being able to speak intellectually amongst your peers could also bring you more knowledge on certain topics or even allow for your opinion to be further advanced.

All of these skills are important for this festival, especially when they are used in collaboration. However, we believe that the most important skill will be listening. We are a big class, of 31 students, if we do not listen to each other not only will we not be able to hear one another but we will not be communicating well. We will not be able to make a good response if we do not listen.
You have to listen in life, it is a really important skill, it guides you through life, for example when you are learning to drive you must listen to the instructor, when you are in a job interview you must listen to the interviewer. During this festival, listening may not be the easiest at times, especially when we may disagree with one another but it is important that we focus and continue listening and respecting each other to make sure we create the best answers that we can!
In this programme we will be listening to others from around the world understanding our cultures, similarities and differences. -

I agree that all skills are important; but I personally feel that the most important skills are listening and speaking. To be honest the both skills actually work hand in hand because you have to listen before you speak. These skills are really helpful because you have to be ready to listen so that you can have an idea or different ideas on what to say out.
However this skills turns out to be a problem for many of us; sometimes individuals are fast to speak instead of processing and grasping whatever information is been passed to them. Listening is also a skill that affects the way you process ideas and the way you speak. We as humans are all blessed with intelligent brains which think differently but just needs focus; so imagine a world where people do more of listening than speaking...
For example, we all know how when we listen to some specific type of songs and then it becomes a part of us even when the song is not playing; like you can still be jamming to such songs and singing it off head because of the amount of times you`ve heard such songs.
Same thing applies to what I`m saying; whatever we listen to and how we listen affects the way we speak and also affects whatever output we give out. So therefore we need to have good listening and speaking skills.

I think the most important skill will be to listen to others. I think this will be important during the festival because we should be open to others opinions and see other sides of the story and be able to understand why people might feel a certain way about the topic, not just our own feelings and ideas. We need to listen to get a better understanding and more insight of a topic or situation so we can really understand why people might do, say or agree/disagree with something etc. Listening is also about empathy and respecting others opinions even if their opinion is different. In conclusion, listening is about understanding and respecting others' ideas, beliefs and opinions.

I think the most important skill will be speaking. During the Festival, students from different places will share their idea, opinions, and talents. Speaking clearly helps us express what we really think and feel. If we speak with confidence, others can understand us better and connect with our ideas . I think this will be important during the Festival because there will be discussions , presentation, and teamwork activities. Good speaking also helps us make new friends and participate actively instead of staying silent.Even if we feel nervous, trying to speak up can make the experience more fun and meaningful.

They are all crucial in the festival because they help in sharing ideas clearly, thinking critically, and engaging audiences from different ages.
For speaking, it's necessary to know how to communicate with different audience or readers (not only ages, but mainly perspectives and traditions), present your topic and explain your ideas clearly and most importantly confidently.
During presenting, you're likely to face questions, challenges or unexpected situations, in these cases, you'll need to think out of the box but still give smart, logical answers using problem solving skill. You will also need this skill in your comments, whether it's just your opinion or a real life problem that you're finding a solution to.
Moreover, creativity is vital when thinking of a solution to something which makes it original and memorable. It also helps presenting your ideas astonishingly and makes it stand out among others.
In addition, listening couldn't be done without the help of all these skills. It helps you understand other speaker's point and responding to it appropriately and learn from different perspectives.
These skills collectively help ensure your performance with confidence and leaves a strong impression to the festival. -

I think this will be important in the topical talk festival because this festival encourages young people who are joining this festival to use their initiative to derive useful suggestions that will help change the society. topical talk festival is a place where creativity is highly valued, creativity is very important in topical talk because people around the world engaging in this festival need to hear your opinion about things not artificial intelligence suggestions so that is why creativity is important.

While all of these skills are important I personally think the most important skill is listening because if you don't listen then you want to be able to have a opposing argument and you wont be able to know other opinions on these topics. You need to listen to other responses as other people might ask questions. If you don't make it from your perspective or opinion and you copy someone then you might not be able to answer there questions and that would not be the point of topical talk. In the festival you will have to use a lot of problem solving and speaking skills because you need to be able to speak to other country’s / pupils. Other people will debate your ideas so you need to have good arguments but not to be confrontational. Problem solving will be useful when you are debating with other people. You need to work from yours and other peoples perspectives so you can up level your argument with the skills of other people. In my opinion i think that the most important / useful skill would be using your words and speaking advantage so people can use your opinion to create a more reasonable point of view. A more clear explanation to that would be, that people should be able to use your opinion as a example for others and even yourself to create a more smarter statement. According to me speaking is the most crucial one because as a student, I noticed that speaking in class or during group activities isn’t just about talking. I have to listen to others first, think of my own ideas, and figure out the best way to explain them. Speaking is like a bridge that connects all these skills together. For example, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam said, “If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun,” here he expresses his life experience in a creative and motivating way by speaking .which shows that we shouldn’t just plan or listen,we also need to take action and execute them. Speaking helps us to assure that we understood something in the correct way.Speaking helps us use all our skills, but at the same time, every skill is important.

I think the most best skill is kindness because if you had no kindness and you where very cold hearted you wouldn't get a family because you would be to cold hearted and mean. if you are mean and cold hearted you will never make friends because nobody would like you. hello dear topical talkers in my perspective I think problem solving is going to be the most important skill. we all know that AI and (new tracking sports tech as we saw in the live session) is going to be entering the 2026 winter games , The news focuses on things like nice and cool tech but we must solve a problem is sports tech making it unfair for the athletes from smaller countries like Yemen, Somalia, Niger and much more who can't afford it . You might think why use problem solving when we can use creativity to invent new tech but without problem solving we might end up giving an unfair advantage for the rich and that's why I think problem solving is the most important skill. this is my perspective and I'm eager to know what you guys think. signing off: fair minded elephant

I think the skill that is most needed in this topic is the skill to listen. When you listen you know what topic to talk about or write about. By listening you can find reasons to enforce your topic or enforce the answer to a task. Without listening you wouldn't know what to do in a Topical talk assignment. For example the assignment is to write an opinion over a type of bird. You might get distracted and won't know what to write about. Your answer would not match the writing objective.

In my opinion, the most important skill would be listening. I believe this because while being able to speak confidently in front of others or having the ability to solve complex problems are considerably important too, you need to have the ability to listen to the people around and their opinions or stories. Listening to those around you not only shows them a sign of respect, but it also means you're able to share new information rather than talking about the same topic. I think that being able to listen is a way to prepare yourself for the real world because it means you'll have the ability to take notice of the different point of views of your colleagues and then collaborate with them.
I think this will be important during the Festival because having the capacity to hear everyone's stories and opinions will broaden your horizons as well as build your understanding on how different people from different backgrounds think based on where they come from or what they are taught. -

I think that the most important skill is between listening or speaking.. Though it's kinda like a constant loop that does not allow you to pick either over another. We can agree that both of these will be important for the festival because you need to speak to allow people to see your point and be able communicate. Its the same thing for listening, you need to be able to see others points as well as your own cause lets be honest..Being one sided never leads to good. Though the real question is which one is more important. I feel as if its its neither they are both needed for clear communication and all the other skills. I think all of those skills are important to progress within a debate as they all tie together, making the best debate. However, I think the most important skill is listening because if you listen to the opinions of classmates it shows you accept room to improve your answer and that you are willing to let your opinion be changed. This can be correlated into problem solving aswell because the ability to listen can also show possibilities to compromise and come to a final answer. But not everyone agrees with one another and that is okay! Simply listening to the opposing side shows maturity and understanding even if it is not what you agree with. Hi I´m from Salamanca, and in my opinion the four skills are excellent to win the Festival. All of them have got its advantages and disadvantages, but I think that the most important one is creativity. Reading new and unique ideas is a very good way of learning concepts from another perspective and point of view. Creativity is also a good way of entretainig people and seeing, or listening to what they have to say and what things occur through their minds. I believe the most important skill will be listening. When you listen and understand what other's are saying, you acquire knowledge you may not have had before, and even if you knew that already, you may listen to a whole new perspective on that matter. Listening is the base of everything. When you comprehend the speech, you take that knowledge and make it your own. However I think 2 stand out the most, problem solving and creativity because both of these have a lot of things to do with this tournament. The reason for my decision solving is in this tournament when 2, 3 , 4 or even 5 people are debating we need to be able to use our problem solving skills to break the debate so everyone can come to a conclusion. The reason why I picked creativity as the top 2 in my opinion is that we also need creativity to write replies and our own ideas. so that we can earn stars and WIN!!! However if we add no creativity to our replies we may seem not as egotistical for the win and we might not get a star. The skill that I feel is the least important is speaking because when you say speaking i feel you are saying talking as in real life not typing. And you don't have to talk in real life if that's not comfortable for you, you can type so you can express your way of thinking and debating in typing.

Not only topical talk , students use problem solving skills through debate speeches or any global platform and real life . Because the people who are really good at problem solving, will be prepared for anything. Creativity doesn't mean to be different from others idea but it also gives a flavour to problem solving for solving any questions or statements or situation and we need a creative mind for an best solution for problem . You cannot look at many perspectives, and make decisions without listening to said view-points, as such your writing would be based on one perspective, and is therefore biased. Not only this, but the entire purpose of this festival is to learn and interact. Without listening, you aren’t completing its purpose, because you aren’t learning. Some may argue that writing is more important because if you don’t write well, you can’t illustrate your ideas. However, if you don't listen, your ideas aren’t worth writing about because again, it's biased one-sided info.

I think that all four skills are equally important and needed at this festival. Imagine it like this: you are in a school assembly point and the principal calls your name, and asks you to come forward. She starts asking you questions about global issues. But before you can respond, you must listen to her carefully so you can understand the problem that she is talking about.
After listening to her, you need to know how to address the problem and this is where you problem solving skills becomes vital.

Hi I’m player_acorn and I live in Deal Kent and we have a carnival every year and it is so fun 🤩 In Deal we also have a humungous beach ( Pier ) and we have so much fun in deal sometimes we have fun fair 2-3 times a year and it is really fun and joyful .At deal we have so much fun including fun fairs, carnivals 🎡, and lots more exciting experiences. Lots of people come to deal from Dover , the king went to see the life boats 🛥️ And we have loads of fun experiences and it is always a good place . Hello! I am from the uk, deal specifically, and it is a very nice, small town. It is near the seaside and close to Dover (about a 20 minute drive). My user name is charming_television. As small as deal is, it’s still a very nice place with many places to go like in town. If you don’t know, Dover has docks that go to France, meaning that we have a lot of people come over to Dover, deal, Canterbury and sandwich. We have many ways of public transportation and many places to go to.

A debate is formed when at least 2 people are discussing something. So, how can a debate be formed without listening to others' points of view to agree or disagree with them? Have you ever heard a discussion from only one person talking to himself?
We can't generate and suggest creative ideas or solve problems without listening to the perspectives said. Literally, a discussion will turn into noise if people didn't hear each other. When participants hear, they could speak, generate creative ideas and solve problems.
To conclude, I believe that listening is the basis of a discussion, speaking is the filling and creativity is the design.

I think this will be important during the festival because while you can speak maturely, listen attentively, solve a problem or even get the correct answer. But why not have creativity with your answers? It makes you stand out and seem intelligent. With my past experience for Model UN, I realize to what extent problem solving actually matters. The ability to stay calm, think clearly, and find solutions as a global community together will help everyone enjoy this experience wayy more! The most vital ability in the Festival in my opinion is listening. If have to be honest it will get you so far and it helps you to comprehend in what you have to do. I think the most important skill will be listening , because throughout the entire competition students are going to have to read multiple comments from all around the world. Some are going to be exactly what they were thinking of, or at least similar, while others are going to be wildly different. At first, they might get the urge to write back angrily a reply comment, showcasing their own opinion, without having even fully processed the original comment in the first place. However, if they sit back and try to understand where the other student is coming from, they might just get an idea of why they are saying what they are saying. The replier could even go a step further and change their own view on the subject.
It is easy to have an iron grip on your beliefs, but significantly harder to admit that maybe when first forming the said opinion, you hadn't considered certain factors because of various reasons. Example: I couldn't wrap my mind around why some people would vote one particular candidate during the Romanian Elections, until I actually stopped and listened to what those people had to say. They came from a different background and had different priorities from mine.
That being said, I believe listening is going to be incredibly important, since the entire festival is about learning, changing your opinion when needed and interacting with other students. -
Personally I think they're like four pillars holding up a structure so they're all probably equally as important. In this case, the structure they're holding are comments we make. Without one pillar the structure won't be sturdy and is doomed to crumble. However if I must choose one out of four abilities, I'd say that speaking would be the most important for this festival. Considering that the main point of this festival is to make comments to share our ideas, we would need clear communication to state the ideas that we have for others. Even if I think speaking is the most important, it couldn't stand on its own because a structure with only one pillar will collapse.

England is a small country but it has a lot of history like world war 1 and 2 we played a big part in the war to not get invaded by Germany I like that our Kings and Queens -King Henry the 8-.Sadly all of the roads are always under construction but we do have some really fun activities like Aqua park ,a carnival every year in the Summer , fireworks for new year, our leisure centre and my favourite the beach. I think the most important skill will be problem solving, since not many children know how to end arguments or state their opinion. If we focus on this more, I think that not only will we be able to think more creatively , but also we can improve all the other skills, as we would be able to process ideas said by others and respond logically. I think this would be important during the festival because it hits all the criteria needed to make a good statement. What do you think?

I believe listening and creativity will be the most important skills during this festival. The more we listen, the more we learn, and that learning helps us become more creative in our thoughts and ideas. In my perspective, listening stands out as the most important skill because without listening, we can't truly understand others. During this festival, we will be exposed to many new perspectives, opinions, and lessons from different people. It is important that we listen carefully, respect those viewpoints, and respond thoughtfully. Good listening helps us grow, think differently, and express ourselves better, making the overall experience more meaningful and impactful for everyone.

I think the most important skill is listening.
You cannot look at many perspectives, and make decisions without listening to said view-points, as such your writing would be based on one perspective, and is therefore biased. Not only this, but the entire purpose of this festival is to learn and interact. Without listening, you aren’t completing its purpose, because you aren’t learning. Some may argue that writing is more important because if you don’t write well, you can’t illustrate your ideas. However, if you don't listen, your ideas aren’t worth writing about because again, it's biased one-sided info.
In conclusion, I believe the most important skill is listening because you need to listen, so you can learn, interact, and write.
