From my point of view, Elon Musk's power is rooted in his riches and as a result of this, his influence. One reason that supports this is that if Elon Musk did not have the amount of money that he has, currently a net worth of $402 billion as of the 8th of February 2025 according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he would not have had the opportunity to become the owner of 'X', previously known as 'Twitter', and therefore would not have his massive following of 218.2 million users resulting in him having significantly less influence over everyone that uses the app. As well as this, the fact that he owns 'X' is also a notable source of his influence due to him being well known on the app. Elon Musk has the opportunity to interfere with a users views on a certain matter such as politics.
Following on from this, Elon Musk additionally gathers power from being at the helm of the DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and therefore his government influence, which was appointed to him by the current president of America; Donald Trump. One reason that supports this is that if Elon Musk did not have this government influence, he would not be nearly as powerful as he would not have as much of a serious role. Previously, Elon Musks source of power was his money, however, now it is also found in his influence both online and in the government. Though, I still view it as his government status being a result of his wealth, this is because if Elon Musk did not have his riches would he still have been chosen by Donald Trump to have any role in government at all. It appears that anything that Donald Trump says, Elon Musk amplifies through using his resources (that was purchased with his wealth).
To conclude, from my point of view, Elon Musk locates his power through this wealth. I believe this because most things that he can do comes back to his money, Elon Musk will always have an advantage over anyone due to him being the richest person in the World. This is why I believe that the root of all of Elon Musks power is his riches.

I believe what makes a person powerful is money which is one of the qualities Elon Musk has. I think having lots of money almost provides a sense of leadership and empowers an individual to twist their wishes and desires into real life easily. Another reason he is so influencial is due to his companies like space x, tesla and x. These are all very big and well known companies.
I am uncomfortable with the amount of power he has as it is a lot. He can do a lot with this power regarding more widescale issues such as poverty and as a society we should make it clear to people what we believe is right.

Here’s the theory: if we are popular through any one -money, social media or government influence it opens doors to other 2 but to open anyone door we need the key and Mr Musk’s key is never giving up. Everyone asked him why didn’t you gave up while working on bringing the space rocket back after launching he said “ I never give up” and then only 4 areas or say people were successful to bring back the rocket to earth where 3 were countries and 4th one was one alone person Elon musk . In conclusion Mr Musk’s fighting spirit is the one which gave him so much power.

He is the is the richest person in the face of the Earth, 314 billion dollars or 293 billion euros.
He also has of the most important companies of the world including a Space company which in the future, an Space company will be very important.
As he has all of this things Donald Trump has incluyen him in the administration of USA, which is the most powerful country in the world.
I think that there are a lot of factors of Elon Musk's power that one of them might lead to desperate situations for MR Musk if he lost it; those things will be shown on the following list :
Innovation of technology, Mr Musk made superior technological innovations such as the superior electric cars Tesla ( a company he owns ) makes or the reusable rockets Space X ( another company he has ) makes.
Financial state, Elon Musk's financial state is immense which, leads to the attraction of talents, who want to show their superb work; moreover, it allows him to influence markets and investigate great technologies.
Social-media presence, as we stated some companies he has, led to technological innovation we should mention his media presence which has essentially helped by owning X ( before known as Twitter ) which makes him shape public thoughts on his own and engage millions of followers he has which can impact on the whole world.
Political influence, Mr Musk is a significant political influencer by supporting some candidates and policies, his trait that makes him navigate perfectly in political landscapes, no doubt, adds power to him.
