I think he has too much power because he has too much money which makes him greedy.The first example that supports my opinion is that he is the richest person in the world(400 billion$).
I think social media is what makes Elon Musk powerful because he owns X so he told his followers to vote for Donald Trump.It can also money because every day Elon Musk is gonna give random strangers 1 million$.He owns tesla and space x.He created a game so he can get money and he made a business with his brother. Soon he made paypal and sold it for 1.5 billion dollars after he created a space exploration. 2 years later he launched an electric Tesla and did space tourism and gone on the moon and mars. A quote he said was”life is to short for long-term grudges”.
In conclusion my decision is that he should control his money and use it more smartly.So he should stop bridging people to vote for Donald Trump and power could cause problems.

I think the thing that makes Elon Musk so power is his high supplements of money. Because of his astonishing wealth, he can buy almost anything he wants. His companies such as Tesla, Spacex, X, and Neuralink. An example of him using his wealth as extreme power is when he spent a quarter billion dollars on the campaign for the 2024 election to boost Donald Trump. In conclusion, Elon Musk is starting to become corrupted by money and he is the reason that some inventions that could harm the community. I agree that he should using his wealth more smartly and he should stop trying to get people to vote for Trump who obviously does not have good intentions as president.

Elon Musk is indeed a very powerful person and we can't blame him, he's an awesome entrepreneur and now that he become the personal advisor of Donald Trump, he has indeed become more powerful. About the question, what makes him so powerful, in my opinion is his influence on people, both via social media and other sources. He serves as an inspiration for many because of him being so successful and rich that it's no new thing to see him on the news! Thats why he is so influential because he is EVERYWHERE! Every mature individual or sometimes even kids know who Elon Musk is. With his over 200 million followers on X, it's easy for him to gain attention; he uses influence to shape people's opinion, build connections, control various resources and make decisions that affect global events. One reason that adds on to his power is his wealth, of course, and his wealth is indirectly connected to his influence. I really admire Elon Musk and all the hard work he has put to achieve these heights and he continues to build awesome things, strengthening his position as a powerful person!
Should Elon Musk's wealth and influence grant him a role in politics, or does it pose a risk to democracy?
Yes, Elon Musk's wealth and influence could pose a risk to democracy as it could grant him the power to control over politics. The power he holds is impressive but politics is not the right field to use it in. His innovative and creative ideas could bring a positive change but his involvement in politics could become a worry as Elon Musk being a businessman, would focus more on his business interests than on what's best for the public; which could potentially weaken the democracy. But there is no final say whether his influence would benefit us or harm us if used in politics.
I used to think that it was Mr. Musk social media influence that brings him money but before he was the owner of X, he was the richest man in the world all that the social media platforms did for him was bring him more money and popularity.
Some times when you have all the power and money to do what ever you want, it gets into your head and it makes it difficult to use the money wisely and that is why he is interfering with politics and making questionable business decisions for example the case of the Acquisition of Twitter and Its Drop in Value. He acquired the social media platform in late 2022, with the aim of promoting free speech and reducing content moderation which increased the rate of cyber bullying. Like many people have advised that when you have money and have a lot of opportunities, use them to impact people not put a burden on them.
Elon musk power isn't totally bad because he cofounded the electronic payment firm PayPal, and in 2002 he founded SpaceX, a company that makes rockets and spacecraft. Also, he is making new discoveries like the Neuralink. Neuralink Corp is an American neurotechnology company that has developed, as of 2024, implantable brain–computer interfaces. This device has helped people with paralysis control devices with their thoughts. Mr. Musk is helpful to society but if he uses his power more wisely, it will be more impactful on others.
I think that what makes Elon Musk more powerful is his money and his influence on X. This is because from his company space X that creates starlinks and supplies to organizations and companies he gets a lot of money from it. In my school we use the starlink app for different internet needed reasons like exams, tests, projects and researches. This is quite expensive for the monthly supscription which gets him a lot of money.
