Option B is correct. I 100% agree that " Doctors are the most important people during times of conflict". In all wars medical help is needed especially in big world wars. In these times, Russia and Ukraine are having invasions and attacks from both sides. Without, medical assistance you could lose important soldiers and other significant people in the populations'. Therefore, I feel "Doctors are the most important people during times of conflict".
I agree because during wars Doctors are very important because when soldiers are injured, Doctors can give them immediate treatment so that they can return and fight again. Doctors also treat people who are injured or being attacked during the war. They at the forefront of any pandemic outbreak risking their lives trying to stop the outbreak. In conclusion, Doctors are very important in the society because of the medical services they render and the lives they save.
B, "Doctors are the most important people in times in conflict" is the one I agree with.
For example, in WW1/2 war was at its strongest, because of the conflict back then. And every medic/doctor was always waiting to heal somebody from his injuries. And if doctors fled from the warzones back then, their army numbers would just look like it is counting down... 1000 999 998 997 each second until the army depleted. Doctors are the one who create the balance make the number count down each day. Thats it why wars are not known to be just hitting a bullet at everybody, there are medics to heal them.
I agree because...
you are correct in all what you say
yes the doctors It has great importance in the conflict.
I agree, because doctors and medics are crucial during conflicts, their ability to heal wounded soldiers ensures the armies strength and morale are upheld. In World War One and World War Two their presence was essential in preventing rapid depletion of troops.
I agree because...
doctors are really important and hurt soldiers depend on them. Also, many soldiers could be at risk of infections if they get shot or stabbed. So that's why I agree with your comment.
I agree with opinion B the most because if it wasn't for the doctors in wars, then most of the soldiers would be dead or injured. Although, C is a little reasonable but the doctors shouldn't leave because of the government, as that would risk everyone else's life including their own. Opinion A isn't that reasonable, because for example, if the doctor has a family emergency or a very personal reason to leave, then they should be allowed to. There are multiple doctors, so another can take their place. The only time they shouldn't be allowed to leave is while they're in the middle of work.
I agree with @faithful_leaves that doctors are too humans.
But we must recognise their importance in situations like this. What I think can be the mediator between both the solutions is a temporary exit. What I mean by this is that the doctors and nurses that have participated in the army shall not leave at any costs. Others though, may leave if THEY wish but when in an emergency they could be called back. Although this might cause expenses, but if executed correctly could help Ukraine get back on its feet.
Thank You
B, "doctors are the most important thing in time of conflict". because in the conflict Everyone is perishing in some of them and people with a stroke of trays, pistols, tops, and more, the peoples die and some live but they go to the hospital quickly, and there the doctor help them some who die and it was the last second in his live and some live by helping of the doctor and make for them The operation to them to take out the Gunfire and the Age of bottles and the process remains a little that the operation succeeds correct like 25% to live and 75% to die, so for the doctors a big importance in the conflict.
so it's B
thank you 🌹
I'm not sure about this because option B falls into option A that is why I think option A is more correct because doctors walking away and giving up on our soldier is basically like crushing their chances of survival. Think of it as like saying soldiers walking off the battlefield. The most important part of war the soldiers and they are gone. In conclusion I don't think your answer is wrong but I think option A is the best option.
Respectful bell with all do respect you have to keep in mind that doctors are their own people C would be correct cus if the government isn't there to protect doctors then they get injured and need help.So you can't say that "Oh the people, the people, what about the people," what about the doctor the doctor is a person too.So while you say that option is correct you have keep in mind that a doctor has their struggles during the too.
I disagree because although it is good to be open minded about other people. We still need to take into consideration the doctors who are not afraid to fight back which as you stated is also a personal choice. Another reason why I feel as though c will help in no way ,shape,or form is how do you expect soldiers to win the war if they are not able to get healed. Also by choosing c you would put citizens and soldiers in danger because during war there are many unexpected acts of violence it is a doctors duty in life to help the injured and that is why they need to be protected. Also not having doctor will make the country less assistive during because with out any one to heal the soldiers they will drop like flies cause less to be on the battlefield and for the opposing country to have the upper hand. This will make other countries not support your country because they fear losing so they will not support they losing side .In conclusion by choosing option c the government is putting their citizens and soldiers in danger .
I disagree because C didn't say all doctors were leaving and that well they had too or must leave immediately it said if the government isn't protecting the doctors in the country then they should expect the doctors to leave for real safety and medical attention for protection also what happens if most doctors are injured or dead.If they can't protect the doctors don't you think that also affect soldiers too?If the doctors were injured and needed medical attention themselves it is unlikely they are able to help a injured or near death .You can't protect others if your not protected yourself.C is saying if governments can't protect doctors this could also lead to the downfall of their own country, the soldiers, and the citizens.Doctors should be able to leave if they are not getting medical attention or proper protection.C never stated to had to leave they said they should able to leave if they are not help.Plus you can't force a person to work when their sick, injured, or on brink of death it'll make things worse.Did you ever think that maybe after getting the proper attention they can return to the war zone when their medical issue is resolved?Either way everything's to affect the people so don't say that C is the only one.
I continue to say that c is only one that is really negative because the way you expect soldiers to fight consistently should be the same way doctors show . What needs to be taken into consideration is that walking from problems doesn't solve anything. Another thing if the doctors are allowed to just walk off the battlefield shouldn't soldiers be able to do the same because their jobs are just as important. What I am trying to explain is that in the real world you can't walk away when things get hard. It is not fair to the soldiers who have to fight and experience traumatic things while doctors are just giving up. I am not saying the doctor don't experience traumatic things during war but like you said" they can just walk away and threatening the outcome of the war. So understand when I say this doctors have just as big of a responsibility as soldiers.
I choose option a because if the doctor leaves the warzones there will be no one to help during critical and emergency times and many soldiers , peoples even animals dies because of many attacks which was happened during the war . if doctors weren’t there will be a huge problem for the country they would loose their soldiers power and population of the people . doctors can keep their families safe but they should not let any lives to go . but doctors should also be careful at the same time not be attacked by their enemies . many doctors in various countries are trained for aid in war times . they are trained to be sharp for any situations . its their responsibility to stay at this time save lives .
thank you!
I agree with you, if doctors leave warzones who will help the injured, help manage diseases and even provide the basic care to the patients. I believe staying will save many lives both in the city and even in the war torn places. Doctors are also needed to continue treatment and care. Imagine a lot of doctors leaving, the few that will be left will soon become overwhelmed and sick people will lose the healthcare practitioners they are familiar with. What about those with chronic diseases who will continue caring for them? Even if a new doctor comes around, there might a gap in the history of the patient because the doctor that left might not have passed on to the new doctor the medical history of the patient.
I disagree because...
Doctors are one of the most important persons in helping people in the war. They are also the more likely to suffer from traumas and psychological/ mental issues. Also traumas grow over time for example a doctor who is suffering and needs rest will not be able to get that because of his tireless work to help his patients which will gradually increase and turn into months of therapy then years which is already causing mental stress and with all the running about, fighting in the war etc. and also suffering from physical pain and stress. This is enough for many people to leave as they are also paid very low. Many people stay in their jobs because of the pay if they do not get enough pay they should be expected to leave.
In conclusion doctors are risking their lives, family time, health and well-being so if they are not able to relax and enjoy themselves for sometime doctor will leave and even the ones that stay will not be fast, will be distracted and not be efficient in their jobs.
THANK YOU honest personality! This is the point I have been trying to prove. You can't force a person who is under a lot of pressure and injured to just "Do their job" they are people too.You can't assume they are already fine and can just do their job.The government needs protect their doctors because they are HUMANS.They can get seriously hurt. Also they should be able to leave to seek proper medical attention that they NEED.
I'm not sure about this because this can apply to soldier also so would you say soldiers are allow to stop fighting in the war because they are injured . But they are not allowed to do that so neither should the doctors. They should both work equally as hard to help win the war. And C disregards that. Also choosing something besides C doesn't mean you have a dishonest personality. It is just our opinions. No one is assuming their fine it is just the government is not treating the soldier any different from the doctors,no one said war was all pretty and dandy, but if you want to shorten the medical field and military then go ahead . Because if doctors are just walking away but soldiers are not allowed to less people will join the military.
What I got by reading your comment is you said quantity over quality. And also your comment was faulty. Meaning the first part wasn't true, soldiers go to medical tents when injured cause what's the point of a injured soldier on the verge of death that in like 20 minutes tops is going to be dead and there's going to be less army soldiers. Your causing more destruction than I am because you said that injured doctors who are going to die or in better terms succumb to their injuries need to just stay on the battle field where proper attention. Don't you think less would join the army because are dying on battle fields. For example, most people who have broken limbs, bleeding out, having fatal diseases, will most likely die in a short period of time by going without getting proper medical attention. More people would die by staying on the battle field than if the doctors came back healthy to treat them.
I disagree because I never said they couldn't get they need or deserve ,but there is no need for them to walk off the battlefield in search of help when they have a whole field of doctors right under their fingertips. Also how might you suppose they will get hurt? Don't be stuck in one solution be open to looking for a new solution( which I am providing )other than forming them into something they are not and shutting them down because you not once talked about how they could "injured" doctors could maybe possibly visit doctors on the battle field because they are just as qualified.
Sensible_ocean do you think that fewer people would become doctors if they knew they would be required to stay in a conflict?
I agree with your point of view. I agree that doctors are vital and a critical aspect of war, saving not only soldiers but civilians and animals. I also agree with your point that if there weren't any doctors, the country would lose their soldiers, power, and population. However, it is the fact that I agree with your points so much that I would like to suggest my own. Sure, doctors are trained for emergency aid and trained to be careful in war, but if even highly skilled soldiers who train for such conflict get hurt, who's to say the doctors won't get caught up in conflict and get hurt? In wars, doctors aren't targeted but hospitals are...this completely destroys a doctor's workplace and many supplies. If doctors were to get caught up in conflict and injured, there wouldn't be anyone else or materials to treat every person that is injured. There IS a solution: foreign doctors, but even so this isn't a long term solution as they can't be forced to remain in the war or expected to stay during times of reconstruction. I acknowledge that doctors carry a huge responsibility but let's not forget they're not just tools, they're humans.
I agree with option B because doctors play a major role during times of conflict. They provide quick medical care and humanitarian aid to affected soldiers and civilians, and saving more people's life's. For those who are injured, doctors will provide food, shelter, and proper treatment. Additionally, they provide mental health care, psychological support to individuals traumatized by the conflict. Doctors can also raise awareness about the consequences of war and conflicts, which can help more life and promote peace.
Doctors are undoubtedly essential during conflicts, but they face many challenges, such as a lack of supplements. They often do not have proper shelters or staffs to treat affected patients. Moreover, doctors may face violence or even kidnapping, which puts their lives at very dangerous. For example, Dr. Wahid Aziz, an Iraqi doctor, was killed in 2005 while working in a hospital in Baghdad. Sadly, there are many similar examples.
Finally, doctors are more imprortant during times of war, acting as protectors of soldiers, civilians, refugees, etc They carry more responsibility, and governments should provide more support and protection for doctors to be more helpful and more effectively.
I agree with you because during a conflict when people are injured, doctors can help get them better because that is what doctors do. Another reason is because doctors hold a combination of skills, knowledge and expertise. What about ethical principle? This is one reason that makes them indispensable. Doctors are supposed to not have sides, they are supposed to be impartial and neutral, saving everyone respective of nationality and country, they treat every injured person not minding their background. With wars comes its impact on the economy and on even the available resources, doctors should be able to adapt to the resources available even when it is limited and must be able to make critical decisions when the the number of patients outweighs the available resource. Doctors apart from healing the wounds we can see also help in healing the wounds we can't see like the mental trauma or stress the patients might be going through thereby providing hope and comfort.
I agree with Option C. Doctors are very helpful and influential people in today's society and we need them the most. They protect and have saved billions of lives, especially during war. If the government can't have the basic decency of keeping some of the most important people safe, they should expect them to leave. I know I would've. Although I want to become a doctor to help people, I believe in treating people the way that you want to be treated, and if the government is unable of protecting me and my other co-workers, why would I risk my own life?
I agree with opinion C the most. I think that because of how important doctors are in times of conflict, which relates back to opinion B, they should be sheltered and protected from the ongoing war because of how essential they are. If the doctors are not being protected, I do not think they should be forced to stay if the government is showing that they do not care enough to provide them with proper protection. I also partially agree with opinion B because doctors so essential to helping heal the soldiers that are out on the battle field, and with without doctors there would be so many injured soldiers that would not be able to fight.
I agree with option C because...
Doctors are sacrificing their life for their country when they are being forced to the frontline which makes them any easy target, more prone to death and dieases. And if they are not properly taking care of with the provion of safety aids by the government, it is a great loss to the doctors.
Also, Over 235 hospital workers have been killed and hospitals are being bombed everyday at the Russian and Ukraine war situation, because the doctors want to help victims, they end up being the victims of war. They also need serious protection to avoid that.
Another reason is that doctors, when being sent to the frontline they see a lot of things that can also makes them mentally unwell and become traumatic. Which is not good when taking care of someone or treating someone. So Doctors need good care attention from the government to help them overcome such trauma.
And again for all the work they do they are payed very low example 2,00 rubles (which is less than 200 dollars) which is not enough for a doctor going through all this things. Which is enough for a doctor to leave. Doctors are never given a day off as their service is never ending.
Another reason is that the medical work could also be overwhelming and tasking. When not properly taken care of and given care by the government, the Doctors cannot but leave when they get good job offers where their own personal needs and care will also be met. We can not expect Doctors that can take care of their personal basic needs to stay when they get better offers.
Thank you.
I personally agree with option B because throughout different times of war like WWI doctors have been a staple of helping people. Plus if there were no doctors then the countries would quickly lose almost all of its population. Also I don't agree with the other options because:
1. option A is not really reasonable because what if a doctor breaks their arm or something they just suppose to walk it off?
2. option C is also not really reasonable because that is like saying firefighters and the police should not work because IT iS dAnGERouS how dumb is that?
I totally agree! Especially if Ukraine lost its doctors, the war effort would crumble, and Ukraine would soon be occupied by Russia. It is also foolish to say that first responders and even soldiers should not work, just because it is risky. Without soldiers, or a police force and the bare minimum, a country would not be able to defend itself.
I partially agree. While it makes sense that doctors are doing a very important job in wars, it is really important that they are protected. Sure, there are some risks when working on a battlefield, but if those risks are too high, it wouldn't really be possible for doctors to work, as they need to have a safe environment to do that properly. This is also why you can't compare them to soldiers who willingly go to war and do not have to look after and hold the responsibility for life and death of other people to doctors. The work on the battlefield is fundamentally different from one in a hospital. You can't treat patients long-term effectively while not being in a rather safe, controlled environment.
Therefore, I think that doctors should be able to walk off if they think it is too dangerous. If their profession is so important, why don't do a better job at protecting their work?
This why I'm torn between B and C here. I see your point that doctors are really important, but doctors are doing long term medical treatment of wounded soldiers. And of course the jobs of firemen and police officers are dangerous. But the work they can do on a dangerous scene is limited and mostly short term. This is even more true for jobs that include medical care.
Of course we don't need to focus the work of the military to protect doctors. But giving them a reasonably safe space to operate in, like a bunker, even that will help a lot.
"You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." - Zig Ziglar, renowned American author and motivational speaker.
Actually, before I start to read any topic I start first to read the comments especially when it's a few comments so when I saw all of the comments saying that option B is correct and that all of the students agree with it I thought that I'm going to make about option B too.
And it was the first example that I read and I agreed with it so much because it's real that the doctors are the most important people during times of conflict.
But after that I decided to read the other options I read C first and I didn't like how it went because it's not logical and responsible to say "if the governments can give their doctor save them they should expect them to leave", I guess it's not logic to make them leave just because the governments can't keep them safe.
After that I read example A and I decided that it's the best option because it's going to be messed up if doctors left during warzones because during this time there comes a lot of injuries and emergencies so if there are no doctors a lot of people would pass away. Which is not healthy for the humanity nor for the planet.
To summarize, I think that option A is the one that I agree with but this doesn't mean that I disagree with option B, it's also an option that I agree with but I agree with option A more than option B because option A's result is saving humans life and this is the result of option B too but option B is saying generally but A is saying a specific situation which is about the topic so it made me agree with it more than option B but option C I think it's not logical so I don't agree with it.
Lucky_fruit interesting thoughts - does their profession mean that doctors don't have the same rights to secure their own personal safety as other people?
Dear Amanda @ The Economist!
No, their profession doesn't mean that doctors don't have the same rights to secure their own personal safety as other people.
Each person in the world which has a job, and is also married and has kids, his life gets separated into two parts, the first part is his job and money and work and responsibility and so on. And the other part is the family part which is about father and mother, a husband or a wife, a daughter or a son or a baby and all the family members, and his job in this part is to take care of the family and be responsible to the family. A problem that happens in most of the houses (at least in my country), when there's a woman that is working and having a job and also married and have kids, the husband, feels that the woman is not responsible for her family and takes care of her job more than her family so this may cause arguments between both of them. So what are some solutions for these arguments to be not likely to be caused:
1- first, maybe by finding suitable family member to stay with the kids or take care of the house when the wife is outside of the house and maybe the husband is outside of the house too (working).
2-second, if the woman is working as a school teacher or in a nursery, she could log her kids in the place she is working in to take care of them while she is working so she is doing the two things and without any arguments.
3 - third, if there is no family member available at the time, they could hire a maid or a girl to help them when there's no family member available to take care of the kids.
I strongly agree with B. In warzones, medical professionals like Roman Kuziv play a critical role, risking their lives to treat wounded soldiers and civilians under extreme conditions. Without them, survival rates would drop and the suffering of those injured would be far worse. Their work goes beyond medical care; they provide hope, stability and a sense of humanity in the midst of chaos.
However, while doctors are essential, they cannot work effectively without proper support. Governments and organizations must ensure they have access to medical supplies, secure facilities and protection from harm. If doctors are constantly in danger, exhausted or lacking resources, their ability to save lives is severely limited. Their safety is just as important as their work because without them, entire medical systems in warzones could collapse.
In conclusion, doctors are vital during conflicts, providing lifesaving care and hope. However, their safety must also be a priority. Governments can support them by ensuring secure facilities, providing essential supplies and enforcing protections in conflict zones so they can continue their critical work.
I agree with option C. If governments cannot protect their doctors and give them whatever protection they need then the government should expect them to eat. Option B supports this opinion, since doctors are the most important people during times of conflict, governments should give them whatever they need to make sure they perform at their best.
I completely agree with opinion that doctors play a crucial role during times of conflict. IN warzones, they put their lives at risk to provide life-saving medical care to those who desperately need it. Listening to our experts, like Dr.Kumar and Dr.Bowd, who have experienced the hardships of practicing medicine in conflict areas, we can appreciate the immense value of their dedication and bravery. Additionally, doctors in war zones often help train local medical staff, build infrastructure, and raise awareness about the challenges faced by civilians. These efforts contribute to long-term recovery and development, making them essential to the healing process for entire communities impacted by conflict.
I believe that point B is correct because doctors play a huge role in conflicts like these. They heal those who were innocent and injured and those who were protecting and injured. I believe that point A is a false answer because though we need doctors during crucial times like this, we can’t choose who risk their lives for others. For example, during the 2020 Covid pandemic 1 in 3 doctors stayed home because they weren’t able to afford losing their lives. We have to think these people have families they also have to take care of so when it comes to times like this who is more important your family or randoms. Next I think that point C is false because the government does need to ensure that their emergency response workers are safe, however we can’t expect them to leave because there are others who are in desperate need of medical attention and can’t get that if doctors just leave. For example, during the 2023 wildfires in California, firefighters were faced with extreme dangers. They weren’t ensured safety, however they understood their role that they had to save others and put their safety second to help someone else. In the end, while doctors have a large role to play in deep conflicts like this, we must acknowledge that they can’t always risk their lives for us. Point A and point C suggests that doctors have no life outside of their jobs and overlook that they also have families to take care of. Doctors can’t always work in life threatening conditions. Making point B the most accurate answer of the three.
Candid_ant where did you find the statistic that "during the 2020 Covid pandemic 1 in 3 doctors stayed home because they weren’t able to afford losing their lives"? Do you have sources to back this up? Was this in the US or globally?
The statistic “ during 2020 covid pandemic 1 in 3 doctors stayed home because they weren’t able to afford living their lives” comes from the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). Additionally, reports from American Medical Association (AMA) demonstrated that multiple doctors have also faced extreme mental health issues during this time. These challenges made doctors have to leave work or lay off their shifts. Though these statistics reflects this situation in the US, similar issues have occurred globally.
Candid_ant thanks for sharing, and great points about mental health and how this might have been an issue globally as well.
Your welcome! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
A and B are just about the same because (C) if governments can't keep doctors safe, the government are doing a bad job. During war, doctors/nurses are the most important because they can recover soldiers and people that can be recovered and save more lives. (A) Critical emergencies may be worse than it already is without doctors in their war zones because without doctors, there will be no recovery from people and soldiers. (B) The field of medication in Russia has become increasingly isolated across the global community in Russia. As I said in C, During war, doctors/nurses are the most important because they can save millions of lives, like the NHS foundation and doctors.
I agree with opinion B and C, in times of conflict doctors are needed to help treat the wounded and the sick. We also need the doctors to help manage the mental health of the citizens of any nation. I also agree that if the government can't keep their doctors safe then they should leave because if the government treats the doctors badly, are not interested in their well being and only interested in winning the war, I believe that the government does not deserve these doctors .
Doctors are trained to safe lives not destroy lives, I feel they should be able to leave, and also be able to make their own choices that means they should be able to make their own decisions to choose wherever they want to live. Doctors also need to take care of their mental health because where they want to live or the conflict they want to fight should be a decision they have to make and should not be forced on them.
I agree with A because in the battle field, while soldiers are getting injured in the field the doctors can come up and take them to the underground hospital so that they're treating the injured soldier and send them back to the battle field to continue with the fight .
In times of war, there are lot of injuries, from the soldiers, who will get it from the battle field and civilians who might be affected by the war. Because of this I think it is very important for doctors to be present in the war , It will help reduce some of the people's suffering and reduce the death rate.
Thank you for reading my comment👏
In my opinion, Option C is the best one. I agree with this option because the safety of medical personnel is critical to ensuring they can continue saving lives, not just on the battlefield. If a doctor's life is at risk, they won't be able to fulfill their duties, which could cause stress, which would then make them sloppy and that sloppinies (which is out of the doctor's control) could cause lives to be lost.
The story of Dr. Amani Ballour (as highlighted in The Cave documentary) really illustrates the insane threat that doctors need to face when performing medical procedures on the battlefield. She was forced to operate under constant bombardments and threats to her life in a underground hospital (just like the Ukrainian doctors) in Syria. Despite her efforts, she eventually had to leave the country due to the inhumane conditions and the extreme danger.
Dr. Ballour's experience shows that, if doctors are not cared for, they won't be able to do their jobs. Staying might seem noble but self-preservation is not cowardice, it's a recognition of the bad reality that we live in. Without these doctors, there would be no patients to treat and no people to advocate for rights as they would all be dead.
In conclusion, expecting doctors to stay in unsafe environments without any adequate support places an unfair burden on them. Doctors need to save lives but they cannot do so if they are endangered. Governments and international organization must protect healthcare workers. Otherwise, they have NO grounds to criticize those who make the decision to leave.
In my understanding I agree with C because, if the government can't protect their doctors, the doctors are permitted to leave to places where they know their safety is guaranteed. The role doctors play in any society is vital, therefore they should be treated with care. The war zone is a very unsafe place where people get injured and lose their lives, therefore if the doctors themselves are injured, who gets to treat the injured? If the population of doctors keep reducing as a result of wars, soldiers at the war front and other people with illnesses outside the war front may not have anyone to attend to them when they are sick or injured. Thank you doctors for risking your lives to save the citizen. keep up the good work doctors!!
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO MY OPINION!!!
I would go with option A, why because its definitely wrong for doctors to leave the warzone no matter the reason, why because they help to revive them whenever they are down and if they are down and the doctors have left due to their reasons most of those at the warzone wont be able to survive due to the lack of doctors . i would say that during wars doctors are very important.
Thanks
I see what you're saying, but what if the doctor is injured? What if the doctor needs immediate medical help due to an injury they acquired during an attack on the place they were assisting? What if the doctor has a dying relative at home? I believe if the doctor has a reasonable cause of leaving they should be able to. Like you said, there are many soldiers that are hurting during a war and there could be many soldiers in need of help. But let's say the doctor is in immediate need of medical help, for example, if they caught a life threatening disease. If I were in the shoes of that doctor I would leave immediately. Because if the doctor leaves to get help for their leg they could come back and continue to contribute to helping. Another example is if they are being threatened. In my opinion, I believe that no one would stay if they were being threatened. Or if their life was in danger because they were helping the other side. Yes, there could be many soldiers watching the doctors as they work in protecting them, but in some cases, that's not what happens because of the government. If a doctor is life is being threatened, I don't think they would want to stay in the same place. In conclusion, what I'm saying is, although doctors are really important due to how many soldiers get injured during war, I don't think they should be required to stay there just because it is their so called 'duty' to do so.
Hello,
I would like to share my thoughts about that so I think that all the options(A, B,C) can be the best but according to what is happening.
(A)
Well, for A, I said choice A because I strongly believe that doctors are the people responsible to help people dying during the war. Even do you know that doctors can also help in education, too! Because they can share their knowledge to others and others so that the country can improve and become better. And of course, it would not be good at all if they left their country in difficult times like this, they must be standing as strong as a rock to protect their country.
(B)
I chose B because without doctors the country will all die so I think that doctors are main people in that time. Also, doctors are trying as hard as possible to create hospitals but unfortunately everything get destroyed so they decided to build hospitals underground which means that they are necessary now for what is happening.
(C)
I see that C is very good because no one ever would like to lose his life for another person so I think that the government must provide a safe place for them to live and if they cannot, they must let them leave. Imagine doctors like GOLD and the war is a thief. Of course, the person will protect the gold and keep him in a safe place in order not to be stolen. So this is the same with doctors, the government must know that doctors are very important that they must protect doctors as they help the country.
To conclude, I see that all the options can work well and help as I told you the reasons above.
Thanks🌺
I think option C best suits my perspective. The employer is always responsible for employee workplace development. Doctors are hired by the government to protect their country using surgical equipment. To convince doctors to work on the battlefield, governments should provide top-notch facilities. Providing adequate services fosters a sense of nationalism in doctors, significantly improving their services. The government should establish underground medical camps under radar surveillance to deflect missiles. Specialized armed vehicles should provide doctors with adequate supplies and ensure the rapid treatment of injured personnel. Survival is a natural instinct. If doctors are put in mortal danger, they have the right to resign and possibly leave the country. Doctors possess a unique ability to inspire hope and survival in others. One such personality I read about was Lt. Col. Charles Myers. He was oppressed by his country's service in World War I, so he started a non-violent protest against the government. A sense of nationalism had driven him to serve the U.S. for four and a half years, but the country betrayed him. This shows that governments are responsible for their personnel and their care during wartime. This is sensitive and inexcusable. The doctors have full authority to leave the battlefield if they feel they are insecure.
in my own opinion, i disagree with option A. reason being that during a war in the war zone doctors cannot stay in the warzone because, for example if a doctor stays in the war zone with the soldiers they might be a possibility that during the war the doctors might be killed or injured together with the soldiers and if that should happend there would be no one to treat them and others that are injured as well, because during the WW2 both the doctors and soldiers where all killed and it was so disastrous, and so the doctors should be kept separate in a save place where the other opponent can't even know where they are been kept so that if any soldier is been injured ,then a doctor can be carried in an helicopter and the soldier will be given a treatment in the Helicopter until they are able to reach the place that the other doctors are been kept so that the soldier can be given a proper treatment. thanks
I agree with opinion C because if the government can’t keep their doctors safe than who can? Not everyone can be a doctor especially in those conditions so I think government should try their best to protect their doctors and give them protection they deserve. One doctor can heal many people and everyone’s life is priceless.
In my opinion C=if the government can't keep the doctors safe they should expect them to leave is the best. The idea that doctors might leave warzones if they're not safe brings up an important point. Doctors should be safe when they're working, just like any thing else. Governments need to make sure doctors are protected and have what they need to do their jobs. If they can't do that, doctors might leave to stay safe. Even though doctors want to help people, it's not fair to expect them to put their lives in danger without enough support and protection. It's important to find a balance between keeping doctors safe and making sure people in the war-torn area still get the healthcare they need.
I agree with Opinion C for it is a reality that doctors also need to be safe, just like everyone else. Their work is of crucial nature in time of war, yet it is unrealistic to expect that they remain in dangerous places without protection. If their government is not in a position to provide their security, it is natural that a number of them would opt to leave. No one is to be required to risk their life without security. Nevertheless, if security is better provided and sufficient funds allocated, more doctors would opt to remain to attend to patients in need. The government ought to be in a position to provide their working places with security, not criticizing doctors for their departure. International organizations can also intervene to provide security to medical personnel in war zones. After all, doctors are human beings, and it is not their mandate to risk their lives to uphold their professional duties. The order of the day should be to save lives, even of those putting everything at risk to provide medical services.
I agree with your point. Everyone is important during the war. If the government is prioritizing or taking more care of other citizens over doctors then doctors have the right to leave. The war has affected everyone including doctors and everyone deserves the same care and support during tough times. If doctors feel they aren't treating well, they can stand up against it and if their pleas are neglected, then the have the right to leave. Everyone matters wither during war or peace.
Doctors play a crucial role in society and if during war doctors aren't protected, any thing can happen to them and the might reduce in number because of death rate and they won't be there to treat those who are affected medically due to the war.
I know war is one of the toughest times for a country but every single person's safety is key. Even though other countries are supporting them during this war they are going trough, the government should pay key attention to their citizen's safety.
, "doctors are the most important thing in time of conflict". because in the conflict Everyone is perishing in some of them and people with a stroke of trays, pistols, tops, and more, the peoples die and some live but they go to the hospital, and there the doctor help them some who die live and some live by helping of the doctor and make for them The operation to them to take out the Gunfire and the Age of bottles, so we need to take the medicine and we will not take any medicine only the doctors said to us so my choice is B.
thank you 🌹
From my point of view, option A and C are somewhat related. First of all, I think that that during wars the government should obviously protect and secure doctors, not only because they are also human lives but also because without them it is impossible to win a war as they save civilians as well as those who fight at the front line. This supports, not entirely, option C. Nevertheless, I also agree with option A, because when doctors or nurses decided they would dedicate their life to healing or saving lives as doctors I believe they have the moral right to stay at their country when they are needed the most (basically during wars). If the normal population is forced to fight at the front line, doctors also have to do the thing they are the best at (saving lives) in order to contribute. I would say I mostly agree with option A (as maybe it is not completely fair to force someone to do something but still, normal people are always forced to fight at these situations so there are not many excuses for not contributing as a medical professional and saving civilians and soldiers) and only to some part with option C (as their safety has to be ensured but they should contribute with their knowledge and skills).
B "Doctors are the most important people during times of conflict." If someone breaks the arm, they expect to go to the doctor. People expect for the doctor to show up for them and help them fix the problem. But if the doctors aren't there, what are people supposed to do? Any kind of medical assistance could happen in war, you could lose your life if a doctor isn't there to show up for you. Then the excuse would be "I've been too busy trying to fight for my own life and the people I care for, work should be the last thing i'm worried about. There should be no excuse. Therefore, "Doctors are the most important people during times of conflict."
Doctors hold the keys of our lives and we all need them when there is war as they treat soldiers and when there is a pandemic, they are the first line of defence and when everything is normal there are people who are sick that are helped by doctors, which made me think that A and B are the best choices and I will explain how.
C
This cannot happen; it is not even logical to do this. It is inhumane to leave soldiers dying while you have the ability to save them. There must be rules that prevent doctors from leaving the war zone, instead of scarifying soldiers to their enemies.
B
Doctors are the most important people in times during war as without them thousands and even millions will die. A doctor can save more than five people and that is why they are even more important than soldiers themselves.
A
A doctor cannot leave his job or he is not a doctor anymore. Doctors must stay in the war zone and if it is totally necessary to leave they could at least take all soldiers with them.
To conclude, doctors are so importance and someone who is that important in a situation cannot leave others who cannot do what they do.
I agree with opinion A. While a soldier may be the one out fighting in wars the prominent backbone to aid them are doctors and medics. Which is why they or basically any of them leaving will strike a major blow to insuring the soldiers survival. Making sure there are the least amount of casualties on both sides is why medics should stay so they could prioritise staying in battle to not further lose man power. Warzones are bloodbaths that could harm many and the most biggest impact of medics and doctor not being there Is the impact it will have families and loved ones back in the home country of the injured and possibly lost.
I strongly disagree with A. Yes, doctors are important in times of conflict but they shouldn't have to bear the weight of the war on their shoulders and feel the shame of knowing they can't save everyone. They shouldn't exactly be able to leave whenever, assuming they are carrying out the duties they signed up for. Though, they should be able to leave for family or injuries. They're responsible for caring for their patients and saving lives, not staying the entire war because they need to.
I want to comment on B, and I think the medical forces are crucial in any army. Their creativity and the way of solving issues that no one can think of. For example, the underground hospital Dr. Roman Kuziv mentioned in Ukraine, which is 6 meters underground, of course, for avoiding any wounds or kills for doctors or the wounded soldiers; however, there is only one thing in this opinion I want to comment on. Doctors are crucial, not just important; nevertheless, you can't say they are the most important. Doctors do their job , medical treatment, and , no doubt , they face some essential problems as the lack of medicines or supplies to medically treat the soldier in an ideal way as Ukraine faced as DR Alexander Vanyukov said ; moreover , other people in the army do their jobs , hanging up the country . For example, soldiers , who sacrifice themselves, harming themselves only for the country. No country had only doctors in their military forces, who are special and succeeded in war, and the opposite: you can't see an army with only skilled soldiers; they would fail or be defeated in the war. I want to end with that in my country, Egypt, doctors are heroes, not only people who treat people. Even you can find a lot of doctors who are famous in Egypt, such as the surgeon Magdi Yacoub, for example. But it can't be considered the most important job in the country, as all jobs carry the country together.
I agree with option C not because I think doctors are not the most important people in war time but because I think doctors should be prioritised more. Realistically, for any country, if the government cannot provide resources and wages to the doctor then the government cannot expect the doctor to stay. This is not only about the duty of a doctor but also the fact that doctors need to provide so they need to be provided with what they require. If the government is not willing to play their part or not do as much as they should then they cannot and should not expect doctors to stay.
I choose opinion C: "If governments can’t keep their doctors safe, then they should expect them to leave." I think this opinion makes sense because doctors are human beings too, and they have a right to protect themselves. Imagine being a doctor in a warzone where bombs are falling all around you, and you’re not sure if you’ll make it home at the end of the day. It would be scary, right? Doctors can save lives, but if their own lives are in danger and the government isn’t doing enough to keep them safe, it’s only fair that they might leave.
Roman Kuziv, a doctor and commander in Ukraine, talked about how he had to face incredibly difficult decisions during the war. He stayed in the conflict zone to help others, but it wasn’t easy, and the risks were huge. It’s amazing that doctors like him are so brave, but at the same time, we have to remember that no one should be asked to risk everything without some sort of protection or support from the government.
In the end, doctors are heroes, but even heroes need to be safe. Governments should take responsibility for keeping them secure so they can continue their work without fear. If they don’t, doctors might have no choice but to leave and focus on their own safety. Without proper protection, no one can expect them to stay.
I feel option A can be considered in two ways. I think doctors shouldn't leave warzones because it is their responsibility to stay and help with the injured. Secondly, when the war ends, the need of doctors will be great because of all the after effects of the war. It is the responsibility of doctors to take care of their patients when they are sick or injured but on the other hand some doctors want to leave because their lives are at risk and they might have to flee for safety, there is a song which says he who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day, I also believe a solution to this problem is that doctors should have underground hospitals to keep themselves safe which is what we saw in the case of the Ukrainians.
I strongly agree with option A because doctors should stay in warzones because when someone who is fighting in the army gets hurt doctors can give them immediate attention so that they can get well or what if someone gets sick or is severely injured doctors should be there to help them get better. Doctors have a professional and ethical duty to serve, in times of war this is part of their service to humanity. I know people will argue in favour of doctors leaving because of personal safety, that is a valid argument because they can either be injured and killed, nobody should be forced to risk their lives including doctors. In conclusion doctors should be stay in war zones because they can save lives of people fighting in the warzone or people close to the warzone.
I do agree with opinion C. " If governments can't keep their doctors safe, then they should expect them to leave".
Doctors play a very significant role in our society. They risk their lives during the time of conflict to stand by and help their country out and this can be really risky.
Now, if the government cannot take good care of them and keep them safe, they shouldn't be shocked to see that majority of them are leaving. This is because they feel insecured where they are and maybe to some of them, their priority is their life at that time, so to me they can't be blamed for it as the government is not playing their own part in helping out during the war as they are playing theirs.
Yes, lots of people, medical workers have lost their lives and hospitals and clinics are being bombed down drastically as a result of the war. It is really having a strong effect on their countries.
As it is from their heart to stay and help their country, the government should not worsen the situation by hardening their heart and taking their minds far away, making them not to put in their best effort making the work really difficult.
I choose A. I think that doctors are needed because they will need to treat the wounded soldiers and citizens. Most at times doctors will want to leave because of the war and conflict that might be happening maybe for safety reasons concerns for family and their obligations towards their families. I think instead of leaving they could make hospitals that are well secured and bulletproof, and even build underground hospital like we saw during our classroom lesson and discussion. So we make hospitals more safe and put things in place that will make work more conducive, this will help doctors make the a good choice of staying even in a war situation, when doctors stay it will result won't in be decrease in population, increase in death or illness. Another reason I say A is because it will be wrong to leave because people will think that they are irresponsible for them to leave the country during war times, I also feel that the only reason that they should leave is because government isn't taking care of them or they are tired, stressed out or experiencing a burnout, in such cases they might need to take a break which is need for self preservation.
I agree with statement C. If a government can't protect there medical personal they should expect them to leave . For example in Alexander Vanyukov's story he stated there are doctors who run an institution which is at the mercy of the government.Anytime a doctor or medical personal says or thinks a different point of view from the governments official point they will be at risk of losing there jobs or facing imprisonment for expressing there opinions. They probably don't want to loss their jobs because they have a different opinion. This will affect both patients and doctors. I know doctors have a responsibility. But they are also responsible for themselves and there safety. If I was a medical personal and my personal safety was at risk I really wouldn't stay there for that long.
In my opinion everyone should have free will to express themselves, opinions and perspectives.
I will go with option B 90% because people get injured , sick and might die, so doctors will have to give them proper medication and I agreed with option B 90% because soldiers are important to protect people, and the safety of their country.
I will go with option B 90% because people get injured , sick and might die, so doctors will have to give them proper medication and I agreed with option B 90% because soldiers are important to protect people, and the safety of their country.
I choose B: Doctor's are most important in times of conflict because when people, journalists and soldiers are injured, the doctors have to be there to avoid the lose of lives and to preserve the population in the country . For example if someone gets injured and doctor are there they can be able to save that lives maybe by giving drug or treatment to stop infections, or stop bleeding and if that is done more lives will be saved, it will make the country stronger and and the population will increase in the country but if they are not there it will be a great loss and many will be injured or be suffering from the pains on the battle field.
I think all of the options combined with certain things taken off would be best. Although we know that doctors have a huge responsibility and have to help during time of war, telling them that they cant leave for any reason is wrong. You have to think about the doctors as well. Another thing we know is that doctors are EXTREMELY important during time of conflict. There have been 43,000 deaths of people and over 370,000 people severely hurt in Ukraine. As well as 80,000 people killed and 400,000 wounded in Russia. This shows that doctors are the most important because they are sacrificing themselves just to help other people. One more thing to keep in mind is the safety of doctors. If the government is not able to keep the doctors safe they should expect them to leave because they are jeopardizing the safety of the people that help people recover from injuries that they have gotten. Some doctors may want to help people but also want to be safe themselves. if they are not able to be kept safe they may want to leave. In conclusion I think all three options connect and should all be taken to head.
I completely agree with option C.
The doctor is a human, the head of family ,and is responsible for important people in his personal life . medicine is his job through which he provides for the needs of himself and his family, if his profession will force him to lose his entire life, leaving behind a suffering family, then he will certainly leave and be abandoned. Therefore, the government must provide maximum protection for doctors so that they can perform their role to the fullest without fear of losing their lives and leaving their families to suffer after them.
I believe that one of the priorities of the government of countries that are waging war is to think about how to reduce human and material losses and preserve the factors that help in the war, the most important of which are doctors who contribute to reducing human losses.
May God protect them.
I agree with option C and B. Option A has some very strong points about the fact that doctors shouldn't leave during times of war as it is their responsibility to help, but for example why should Alexander Vanyukov help the Russian soldiers? If he continues to help the Russian military, his actions will only continue the war as the soldiers that are treated will be sent back to the front to fight Ukraine. Alexander Vanyukov would have done his job as a doctor, but his actions will only help the aggressors, the Russians. And why would he want to help the aggressors, the ones who started the war to just take land? The aggressors don't deserve help and this is why I don't agree with option A because in some cases doctors shouldn't help the attackers that started a war that killed many lives.
I agree with option B because if it wasn't for the doctors that treated the soldiers, a lot of the soldiers would probably die. In a war there are usually a lot of wounded soldiers and if the doctors didn't help, there's high chance that the soldiers will die. I think doctors save millions of lives during a conflict.
I also agree with option C because if doctors aren't safe in the area that they work, they could leave. If they don't want to risk their lives, they are free to leave. After all is the duty of the government to protect doctors, most important people during war.
These are my reasons why I agree with option B and C.
I chose option b doctors are the most important people during conflict because if doctors didn't exist or weren't helping, anyone who would get shot or badly hurt is basically done for, because there is no one to assist and help them recover. Countries would rapidly lose soldiers at a fast rate. And wars would end quickly in a bad way. Doctors' duty is to help people recover especially during wartime. Doctors are invaluable people to the country and it doesn't matter if they help in surgery or just wrapping wound they all are crucial to the world as a whole
I think C is correct. I believe this because if a war is harming doctors then those doctors should be able to leave. This is because if a doctor helping Patients and the hospital is bomb or something like that then doctors wouldn't feel safe helping other people if the building are falling apart.
I think option C makes the most sense, because I see lot of B's but almost no Cs well in opinion, you can't expect a DOCTOR who works 24/7, to be there all the time for war and such. What happens if they get tracked down, what happens if THEY'RE injured, what about if their family gets caught up the war. They can't be there all the time what happens threatened to leave, what if a hospital gets bombed. They also need help during crucial times. The government needs to respect if they end up leaving because not only did they protect and help people, that really just government would be corrupt enough to make feel the need to escape from their dream job. Just my opinion on these situations, if you have need to ask something about comment feel free!<3 😁
In my opinion, I feel that option B is the best choice. As I looked at the options one thing became clear:protecting our doctors is the main priority. As the wars get more and more intense people need to be there in order to fight in that war. Although doctors might not seem important they are a vital aspect during warfare. The doctors that are otherwise deemed as "unimportant" can help aid those in the war that have been injured such as journalists or soldiers just as Bright Fact said. On the other hand, when I examined the options I also could see how C could be plausible however it does not look at the overview of the topic. To me yes it is very true that if the government does not give their doctor's protection then they should expect for them to leave however if the doctors are not there to help their patients or even the injured people during the war then it could mean horrible news for that country which supports option B. Therefore, I feel that B is the best choice.
Conflicts like the Russia-Ukraine war put doctors in impossible situations. They risk everything to save lives, but what if governments can't guarantee their safety?Should they be expected to stay anyway?I strongly disagree. Doctors are the backbone of our healthcare system, especially during crises. But their lives have value too. It's not just about doing their duty or being essential-doctors deserve protection. Governments have a moral obligation to prioritize their safety, providing adequate resources and security. This isn't just a favour; it's crucial for maintaining healthcare services during emergencies. By safeguarding doctors, governments can ensure they continue saving lives without fearing for their own. It's time for governments to step up and take responsibility for their healthcare worker's safety and well-being. I although agree that doctors are very important and they have a great responsibility, that doesn't mean that their lives does not matter. Options A and B simplify the issue too much.
B- Doctors are not most important but soldiers are. If there are no soldiers who would doctors cure? That make their life in danger too. That doesn't mean doctors are useless, they are VERY important but not the MOST.
A-Yes its doctors responsibility to support people at the time of crisis, that does not mean that they can be forced to stay. A lot of you may think if a doctor cures 100 and die that's 100/101. And if doctors run away its 1/101. What we do not think is that the doctor has its own life which he values most. And if he lives he can continue to save 1000s more.
I agree with option C, why? because doctors are one of the key factors that you need during a war and not having one would be tragedy, but this doesn't conclude that doctors have to sacrifice their lives during war for their soldiers. Some doctors might be fine with this but most probably don't because doctors are such an easy target and definitely one of the main targets during a war, because as i said before not having one would be critical. Having doctors go to front line saving soldiers for a country without protection is fatal as said in point C, because they have to sacrifice their lives for others while also not being protected by the government. It's utterly unfair for the doctors if such things happen while also forcing them to save soldiers sent by the government. So, i definitely agree that the government should be expecting for doctors to leave because they haven't been giving them 100% safety measures for their future.
The most logical option is c, nobody would want to be in a place they are not treated properly it should not be any different for the Russian doctor because if the government isn't treating them well they should obviously expect them to leave. Lets see this instance, there is an organization that used to be very productive and then suddenly the stay treating their staff recklessly ,maybe reducing their break or their pay , adding unnecessary pressure and other acts the staff would obviously get tired of the treatment and start resigning and leaving the organization until nobody is left and the organization folds. it is the same for the medical system in russia, if the government treat them with little or no regard they would obviously look for ways to leave the country in search of better treatment as medical personal not forgetting the fact that some of these doctor have families to look after so it is a mean of livelihood if they are not treated well or get proper pay they would leave in other to fend for themselves and their families as a result the Russian medical system keeps deteriorating . if it keep on deteriorating it would affect the country since they are in a crisis a lot of people are vulnuerable to disease and imagine there are no doctor to take care of them.
According to me opinion a is correct. Doctors are very important during wars. They are the life savers. If they only flee from their country then what could we expect from others .
Doctors are the one who not only treat people physically but also give them mental stability to persevere during war time . If doctors would not be there the country would loose many soldiers, refugees etc. I think in today's world where the role of doctors and their position is compared and given the same rank as God, it is the duty of the doctor to save the life of the people even in the toughest and severe situation. If there would be no doctors the soldiers who are injured but can be saved would also die as there would be no one to give them proper treatment. According to me it is unethical for doctors to leave the country and the soldiers and people during war time when they are one of the most required by the soldiers.
But at the same time it is the responsibility of the government to provide proper safety to the doctors who risk their life to save others. Also adequate resources like medicines tools technology etc. should be provided to the doctors for proper treatment of the soldiers and common people.
I believe that option B is the most accurate option because doctors and medical personnel are crucial during wartime because their actions directly impact human survival and well-being. This make's their role exceptionally significant. Doctors provide immediate life-saving care for injuries sustained in combat or civilian attacks. They perform emergency surgeries, administer critical medication, and treat life-threating conditions under often extremely challenging circumstances. This direct contribution to survival makes their role vital. War disrupts public health infrastructure, increasing the risk of disease outbreaks. Doctors and medical professionals play a key in preventing and controlling epidemics through vaccination campaigns, sanitation efforts, and treatment of widespread illnesses. This preventative aspect is crucial for maintaining population health. Doctors' unique contribution of directly saving and improving lives, both immediately and long-term, makes option B a highly accurate assesment of their significant role during conflict.
After thinking for a while, I've come to the conclusion that both options B and C are somehow correct (at least from my point of view). Yes, doctors really important during times of conflict. But they are people too. I think we sometimes forget that doctors are humans, just like you and me, with a lot of medical knowledge. In a warzone, where their life is at risk, most humans would leave to try to survive. Despite having a responsibility of helping and saving lives/people, doctors have to do leave too if the governments aren't able to keep them safe. Maybe leaving isn't the best option, but as they are the most important, they must be safe in one way or another. So, this is definitely a topic governments should think about when their country is at war.
Actually I had the strongest reaction to (example B) because doctors are the most important people in the war. They help soldiers get better and save more lives. Without doctors soldiers would stay sick or injured for a long time and they might not be able to fight or survive. Doctors give them medicine to help them heal faster.
But doctors don’t just help soldiers They also take care of other people who get hurt in the war like children , parents , or older people who are caught in the middle of war. Doctors work very hard to make sure they save as many lives as possible.
Now, imagine if there were no doctors in the war… Would that be a good situation???
Of course, no Many people would get injured and die. Soldiers wouldn’t have anyone to take care of them and they wouldn’t be able to fight. Without doctors the number of deaths would be much higher.
So in conclusion, doctors are the most important people during wartime. They provide treatments for soldiers and people , helping them get better and return to their normal lives. Their job is difficult, but they are heroes who save lives every day.
THANKS FOR YOUR TIME, TOPICAL TALKERS 😊
I agree with C ,because the war between Russia and Ukraine show how hard it is to keep doctors safe when there's fighting . Doctors have a promise to help people , but they also need to keep themselves safe . if they get hurt , they can't help other people who need them , like what happened in Syria when lots of doctors had to leave because it was too dangerous.
Keeping people safe is an important right , and when governments can't do that, doctors might have to find a safer place to live and work . In the Russia-Ukraine war , hospitals and doctors have been attacked , which isn't okay .
Danger can make it hard for hospitals and doctors to do their jobs , like in Yemen where people couldn't get the healthcare they needed because of the fighting . Also, being in a war can cause stress and other mental health problems for doctors. This happened in other wars too , where doctors had a hard time feeling safe and doing their job.
So , if a government can't protect their doctors. It's understandable for doctors to try to find a safer place to live and work . After all , keeping doctors safe is really important for making sure everyone gets the healthcare they need, both during the war and even after it's over .
To respond to B, I think that doctors are one of the most important people in times of war and conflict. During war, there are tens of thousands of people that die, however, that number could be easily much higher if doctors were not there during war. On top of that, doctors still have to care for the citizens outside of war, and the injuries that come with living in an active warzone. Also, there would probably be a higher level of injured people during war due to fights and bombings. Especially since hospitals or healthcare center are often targeted for bombings. So, I feel this is an important reason why doctors are the most important during war, since they provide care to soldiers and citizens.
Option B is the most important issue because doctors play a major role in protecting soldiers and civilians during conflicts. They provide quick medical care to injured individuals, but one of the major challenges they face is the lack of proper shelter and medical supplies from governments. Without these resources, doctors cannot be provide first aid to soldiers and civilians affected by wars and conflicts. Additionally, doctors serve as psychologists for those experience from trauma and stress.
Doctors can raise awareness about the impact of war, showing how people are affected by it. Many doctors work in dangerous zones, facing violence, and in some cases, they are kidnapped by terrorists. A big example of this occurred during the Syrian war in 2011, when nearly 800 healthcare workers are died due to the conflict.
Therefore, governments must provide proper shelter, medical supplies, and security to doctors so that they can work easily in these dangerous situations.
I believe that option B is the most suitable as the citizens as well as the soldiers may need help from the doctors. Doctors ought to stay and help the country especially during the war-time. But also, the doctors shall together make their union and get ready for any harsh treatments, because the country too needs them. Its the government's duty to not treat them harshly and give them the demanded respect and dignity.
Hence, option B
In my opinion, the job of a doctor is one of the greatest jobs because you have to imagine that you can help a sick person and treat his pain.
I agree with opinion A because the doctor's responsibility is to help patients and those in need of treatment and not abandon them no matter the cost and pressures. Every person must play his role in life and not abandon his responsibility. What is the value of a person without responsibility and resistance to reach his goal?
In Egypt, during the 1973 war, doctors had a great role, to the point that they continued to help those injured in the war by digging tunnels underground and transporting the injured in them for treatment. Not only that, but also when the Corona epidemic spread, doctors did not abandon their role for fear of themselves or their children from infection, but they did everything they could to save people. This is the humane side that every doctor should have.
I disagree with opinion C because they should stay to provide all the assistance to preserve the lives of the injured and to unite against anyone who tries to stop them from helping the sick or performing their humanitarian role in society. Not only that, but they should also not surrender to the pressures imposed on them by the government, as Alexander Vanyukov said, the government imposes restrictions on doctors’ freedom of expression, and not only that, but they restrict their freedom of expression when doctors object to the treatment of prisoners and the weak, which led to some doctors refusing to practice the profession, which affected the medical staff.
I agree with option B that Doctors are the most important people during the times of conflict. In war zones , doctors are the one who save lives of people and treat those , who are are wounded. Without doctors like Roman Kuziv , who is in-charge of medical forces in Ukraine , many people would not have survived. Doctors put their own life at risk to take care of others. Doctors often work in dangerous conditions with limited resources. They help both soldiers and civilians , keeping their lives during a conflict.
At the same time , government should make sure that doctors are safe. If they are not protected , they can't do their jobs properly. Alexander Vanyukov , a medical directer in Russia , shows how important it is for doctors to have support and safety, especially when they are working in war zones. If governments do not protect their doctors, it's not fair to expect them to stay and risk their life for others. Doctors are essential in the times of conflict , and their safety should be at the priority.
I agree with Option B in my personal opinion as Doctors are the most important people during the times of conflicts.Doctors are truly very essential and supportive staff of the military and play a vital role in case of a conflict.Doctors not only provide medical and physical support but in my opinion they help to maintain the mental state of the victim and provide hope and faithfulness for the betterment of the patient.Doctors are also seen as really hardworking and mentally strong as even in the battlefields where there is nothing to see but just pure chaos and blood shed,They don't feel traumatized and continue to save lives.I also feel that these doctors should get much appreciation as they are the true heros even in the battlefields. If there won't be on-duty doctors and medical staff,Many innocent and valuable lives will end which will destroy even the lives dependent on them.Even after this,Doctors at some places are not given proper recognition and respect by not providing proper safety and security at the frontiers of the warzone of the conflict.
To conclude I woud like to say that Doctors are truly the most important people at the time of conflict and work to save lives day and night without caring about themselves and providing services to the nation and mankind and saving the humanity
Option B shifted my viewpoint about the importance of doctors. I thought that soldiers or the people present on the battlefield are the most important people during wars because they are the ones who protect the country and keep civilians safe. But after learning this lesson, I realised that doctors are no less; they are the ones who save the lives of innocent people during wars, what can be more important? Doctors help people who are affected by wars. For example, imagine a bomb being dropped in a warzone causing many people to get injured and wounded, who will be the most helpful person in this scenario? Of course, doctors, because the most urgent task here is to salvage lives of the blameless people. To conclude, option B made me change my mind and realise how doctors play an important role in wartimes and definitely are the MOST required in such unfortunate events!
In my view Option C is correct because the lives of the doctor are exceptionally important too. Doctors are considered as god’s avatar. It is vital to save thier lives too though they are humans too.
I concur with Option C. Doctors are highly useful and powerful individuals in our modern world and we need them most. They safeguard and have saved billions of lives, particularly in times of war. If the government cannot even have the decency of keeping some of the most vital individuals safe, they should anticipate them to leave. I know I would've. Even though I would like to be a doctor so that I can help people, I think that you should treat people the way you would like to be treated, and if the government cannot protect me and my other co-workers, why would I put my own life in danger?
I think opinion B is the most important. In times of conflict there lots of injuries, people who loose parts from their body and people who has health problems. Is very important to have doctors but also to have hospitals, many hospitals have been destroy so they have to built bunker hospitals that are not so efficient than hospitals. I think hospitals should one of the places which they can´t touch in a war. Many people have health problems, some of them need to continue there treatments such as for cancer or other diseases. Due to the destruction of hospitals people can´t continue there treatments an many lives are lost. People who fight in battles are injured and they need medical attention.
I believe that the medica ethics requires a physician to be present on the battlefield to protect soldiers and citizens especially in times of war and disasters. A Physician must be prepared to do his or her significant work in times of crisis and calamities and must be fair in providing the medical care.
There was an Egyptian doctor called Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah. Dr Ahmed worked in a hospital in Yemen that was in a city called Sanaa during the war. In 2015, while he was preforming an emergency and urgent surgery to save a patient's life, the hospital was shoot off by the war planes which result in him being seriously injured. Unfortunately, this injury prevented him from being a doctor. All of this happened because of the Yemen governments because the governments could not keep the doctor safe.
Consequently, I will choose the letter C. There must be a role that says that if governments cannot keep doctors safe, the doctors can go and leave.
So, how can this problem be solved?
Governments can use AI to protect the doctors while they are working during the wartime. Governments can use Remote sensing technologies techniques such as satellites and aircraft planes to monitor the surrounding places of hospital where the doctors work in and it can predict risks so doctors can go away. AI also can be used to help doctors in the emergency surgeries to heal the patient. Governments must train the doctor about how to react against the wars.
To conclude, I think that it is bad when doctors are forced to work until they die, and governments cannot provide anything.
I think option B is convincing that if the government can’t protect their doctors then they should be allowed to leave. Roman Kuziv a Ukraine doctor has said that many hospitals and civilians are being destroyed and killed even more than 800 military hospitals are being destroyed and over 250 health workers have lost their lives. Many Russian doctors like Alexander Vanyukov have noted that many doctors are leaving the country, many big health care companies have left Russia and are not supporting them and even many soldiers can be saved but they are dying on the battle field. And according to me that B option is truly correct because doctors are also humans they even have fundamental rights to choose whether the have to leave or stay as government is too busy in war that they hardly look how the doctors protect these injured people .
I strongly agree with opinion C, "If governments can't keep their doctors safe, then they should expect them to leave". This is because I also partially agree with opinion A and B, doctors do have a partial responsibility to help and thus, it makes them really important during times of conflict (I don't 100% agree with these, I agree with C). I view doctors as a PILLAR for rebuilding society once again. If all the doctors were to remain and stay when they couldn't be protected, they would be lost. Protecting 50 doctors is way harder than protected 3 (an example). This leads me to my point, not all doctors should be kept near the conflict. I agree and see why it is important to do so: to uplift hurt and injured soldiers in order to reduce the losses. However, if the conflict was resolved while all doctors were lost, how would they help any people with accidents post-conflict? If someone got hurt rebuilding a building, who would help? It takes many years and skillful practice to become a doctor, it is a long profession, you can't replace them immediately.
This makes me believe it is incredible risky to include all of them during times of Russia, it's like endangering your future, a really risky gamble. That is why I really agree with opinion C.
Hello! I believe that option C is the best. Doctors play very vital war in our society especially during war times. They have saved hundreds of millions of people, and if the government can’t do them the decency of protecting them while they save others, then they should expect them to leave. I would have. If I was a doctor I would want to help people but if I was being treated badly I would not want to work in that area. If the government. is unblemished to protect me and my colleagues, why would. I risk my own life?
I choose option A
Because doctors contribute a lot in war zone the need a high protection government should take care of the doctor also so that the doctor isn't been hurt during the war and government should give him few assistance as because when a soldier got hurt a lot in a war zone the doctors assistant would take him and admit him to the doctor as because when that soldier got hurt if in the time any other soldiers aren't near him to help in the time so doctors need assistant also
I agree with option B. I agree with that option because, Doctors are the most important people to make sure are available in wars because they can provide care and safety to not only the people who fight the war, but the people who are effected by it. Doctors help us understand what is wrong with us and especially during war when people need to know if they are going to be okay. During wars, Doctors need to be an immediate call in case someone gets hurt or if people get attacked during the war. Since the Ukraine-Russian War Ukraine lost half of their population and they need Doctors to help stabilize their hurt populations throughout the war as well. So I believe that Doctors are the most important people to be around during wars.
I think I will start the discussion with opinion c: “If governments can’t keep their doctors safe, then they should expect them to leave.”
I think I strongly agree with this opinion as doctors play an important role in any warzone by providing major medical care under danger; nevertheless, it's non-logical to keep doctors in high danger levels without security. Ensuring safety for medical care is essential in any war. When governments fail to provide this security, it is very right and reasonable to leave to be alive and to take care of their well-being. Not only this but also results in a better healthcare system; as well as, demonstrates the country's commitment to its citizens. Not having professional security for doctors will have a lot of vast consequences that aren't good for both doctors and civil life.
To conclude, as crucial as doctors are, as crucial the security to them; in other words, their security CAN'T be forbidden; moreover, governments have the responsibility to ensure their security. If they can't do this, no way doctors aren't leaving.
When medical students want to be doctors apart from educational factors they also have to take a “ Hippocratic oath ” in which they mention that they will maintain the honours of medical profession and always help the sick . According to the oath I believe option A is the one which I choose and if the doctors donot help and leave the war zones so then they are betraying their profession. If there is an attack and army refuses to fight through then who will? Similarly doctors are our health army and if they backup they are cheating their profession and also patients ,if not fight they can just help the patients which can save many lives and I think they should understand patient’s situation and always help them.
I agree with A because docotrs have a crucial duty to ptovide medical care and save lives, especially during war times. Their presence in warzones can make a significant difference in the survival and recovery of those who are wounded. By staying, they do what is expected of them, help others even in the most challenging and dangerous circumstances.
However, their safety and mental helath is also important. For example, many doctors who stay too long in dangerous areas suffer from burnout and trauma, which can affect their ability to help other.
I agree with opinion B. Opinion B states that doctors are the most important during the times of conflict, which is true. Doctors are responsible for treating and giving medical care to civilians and soldiers who are injured and harmed by the conflict, which helps and saves lives. Doctors are also the ones that help with diseases and sanitation concerns according to Google, which also plays an important role in combat. In addition, there are several types of doctors, such as a psychiatrists. Psychiatrists help with mental health, bringing soldiers and citizens the ears and support they need during worrisome times such as war, battle, or combat.
I say C, because while i do understand all of you guys opinions on need for doctors, doctors are humans as well. on a scale, if we where to put regular people, people in war, and then doctors; the doctors are expected to care for all, including other doctors sent out. lets say, for an example, youre a doctor fighting in any kind of war. you wouldnt want to stay if youve already caught diseases from smoke, people, ect. and still have to do your job. Doctors ARE important, yet the government and us as people shouldnt expect them to stay in environments like that due to them basically being just like us with a bit more knowledge and a med kit. you wouldnt want to stay like that if you werent getting the proper help from the people who sent you out, so why would you expect them to stay without help?
I agree with opinion B, because doctors are essential in these times of war.
Without them, many soldiers could be lost, and essential people for protect their own country.
I do not agree with opinion A, because doctors can do what ever they want, and cannot be obligated to stay in their country. If they are feeling bad there, or want to start a new life, they are free to do it.
Moreover, if they change of country to continue helping sick people, this will be a good act.
In my opinion, I don´t really know which answer is the best between A, B and C, because, A is true, because doctors play a very important role during war periods, because many people become ill, or they are harmfull due to the war. But is their responsability to stay during the war period, because they suffer the posibility of die. So, I think they could do what they want, staing or not.
I cannot choose between the three options, as all of them are conncected in some way, so I will give my opinion on the three of them.
Doctors and medical professionals in a war are like oxygen in our lungs; they are the ones who treat wounded soldiers and injured citizens. Without them, soldiers are as good as dead, because they would not be able to get the medical treatment they need to stop the blood pooling, or the infection from taking over, or to take the bullet out of their arm or leg. Basically, without doctors in the war, people will not be able to recover to continue fighting and lots of lives will be lost.
So, it would be rather selfish of a doctor to abandon their people in times of crisis; but we are all human. They also do not want to lose their lives, they do not want to be forced to stay in the middle of conflict, knowing any day could be their last. Even though the consequences of doctor leaving would be awful, if the governments cannot keep them safe, then they have the right to choose to save their own lives by leaving.
Medical professionals are very important in wars, so the governments should focus on keeping them safe, so they can continue to treat injured soldiers and serve their countries.
I choose the option C.
It´s obvious that the doctors are essential in times of war, but their can´t be expected to risk their lives without protection. Their job is to save lives, not sacrifice themselves. If the government con not ensure their safety, it´s logical that they want to leave warzones. Furthermore,if the doctors are killed or in some cases kinapped, they can´t help more.
The goverment should establish security measures, it can help doctors to work without becoming easy targets.
I believe that doctors are a fundamental part of the war, because, doing their job they are saving lives, therefore I believe that the government should be able to keep the safe so that they can do their job properly and benefit their country. On the other hand, I also understand that they leave the country, after all we are humans and it is normal to want to flee from this typeof dangerous situations because of the fear, therefore, as I said before, I believe that the most important thing is that the country is able to keep them safe so that they can stay in proper conditions
I agree most with option C. While doctors have a duty to help during wars, their safe should also be a priority. Health is one of the most important things then you need to take care of yoursef. That is why if a warzone becames too dangerous and the doctors can´t protect themselves they cannot be force to risk their lives just for being there.
In many wars, hospitals have been damaged by enemy attacks, this makes impossible for them to work effectively there. Furthermore, sometimes hospitals are completely destroyed which makes it even less possible. Governments and international organizations should ensure doctors have adequate protection so they can continue saving lives without risking their lives.
I totally agree with opinion B. As we know doctors had been essential along our lives and even mnore in times of war. That´s why I believe that if doctors and surgeons leave war zones, conflict wont stop
I agree with option B, "Doctors are crucial during conflicts." In times of war, doctors are often the difference between life and death. They don't just treat physical injuries, but also provide psyological support to those traumatized by violence.
For example, Dr. Igor Sokolov, a military medic from Ukraine, stayed at this post during intense attacks, saving countless lives. His role highlighrs how doctors are not just caregivers, but pillars of hope in desperate situations. Without them, the consequences of war would be even more devasting.
I agree with B the most. During conflict, for example a war, doctors are the most important people. When people get injured, doctors are there to help them. Without doctors, a lot more soldiers would die in the war. Thousands of people get injured in wars and a lot of people die. Doctors can save some of the soldiers that get hurt. According to the lesson, most of the Russian soldiers, once they are healed and well, go back to fight in the war. This shows that doctors are the most important in wars because soldiers can live and come back to the war.If doctors weren’t here, many soldiers would die when they could've been saved. Doctors play a big role in many different types of conflict. They will be there if someone gets hurt. In conclusion, doctors are very important and many people involved in wars would’ve died without them.
I agree the most with option "B" which states that doctors are the most important people during the conflicts, since these doctors like Roman Kuziv work selflessly to protect lives of those at the stake of death. Apart from soldiers its the doctors of the nation that are the true saviours, hidden behind their surgical masks and wear a white coat and stethoscope instead of the cape. Its the doctors who ensure that healthy soldiers are fighting the war and are aiding in the speedy recovery of those wounded.
Often its not the medicine but the doctor which truly recovers the patient. Doctors staying during the war time not only provide medical support but also often, emotional and mental support to the soldiers. Its the doctors that whole heartedly work even in underground hospitals and live under the constant threat to be bombarded yet they stay strong and do what best they can.
Hence, doctors are the most important people in conflicts not only because of their expertise in medicine but also the hope and support they provide in the army.
I agree with option C that if the government can't keep their doctors safe then they should expect them to leave because I may be the responsibility of the doctors to help injured soldiers but risking their own lives might not be good. Why should a doctor who might save plenty of lives in the future die in war because the government was not able to protect them ? This is very wrong and of course it's the governments duty to ensure their safety. I think that the government should focus on making safe areas near the war zone so the injured soldiers can reach there fast without getting late and the doctors can do their work without any worries of risking their lives. For example if they make these medical centres in the war zone then the chance of the medical team dieing gets increased so why not create special bunkers near these warzones.
In my opinion , option B is correct as they provide the essential medical care to people or even animals and if it weren't for them various people would be seriously injured and the number of deaths would probably be increased importantly. Furthermore , doctors that have many years of experience can work well under pressure and they can also ensure that the team of nurses and doctors that they are working with is effective and organised. Finally, doctors in war zones often prevent diseases from spreading. Altogether, doctors are vitally important in war zones as they literally save our lives.
As long as I’m concerned, I believe that the option B is correct. During wars, especially this particular one between Russia and Ukraine, many citizens lose their lives trying to protect themselves and their families. Also, soldiers who are fighting for the country’s freedom are getting injured and they need quick medical attention. In this case, doctors are the most important people, since they’re highly educated on how to treat these injuries and protect people from getting hurt or more serious, passing away. If doctors were not around, the country’s popularity would rapidly decrease overtime and there would not be anyone left to fight against the enemies. So, that’s why I think the second option is correct. Doctors are truly the saviours and true heros of this world, especially during these difficult circumstances.
To begin with I don't think that there is any person more important than the other in war but that these people must come together to be stronger.
I therefore completely agree with option C because if governments do not protect doctors then they will not be able to practice their profession in good conditions.
Indeed, a doctor who must treat a soldier or even a civilian must be able to perform all the manipulations necessary to help the patient. But he can only do this in calm conditions and in places far from the front and as clean as possible.
It is therefore possible that doctors leave even in the event of war because the "working" conditions are not good enough including the fact that it is war.
In my opinions, option three speaks out to me. Doctors should have full protection from their government as they are a safety barrier for soldiers and the civilians. Unfortunately, people will get hurt during a war and those people have a legal right to their health care, and if the government don't accept those rights the people will feel mistreated and unseen by their government.
Medical buildings such as hospitals and care homes should also be government protected as without any proper equipments and necessities, people may loose their lives due to this. A simple antibiotic can prevent someone dying from an infection. This is essential on keeping a healthy government force to keep the country fighting in the war.
I agree with all of them- they all have very valid points. Beginning with A, doctors shouldn’t leave warzone, the fighters might need their help. Someone could be dying and they’re not there; we cannot let that happen, ever. Moving on to B, doctors are very important in wars and conflict because someone could be hurt and no one knows how to help them except the doctor. Doctors would be the one saving their life and they could live longer. It could change many people’s lives if a doctor is not there and they die because of it. Imagine how many people would be affected! Their family, friends, neighbours, relatives- so many. Doctors are extremely important during conflict. C is also right because if the government aren’t taking care of the doctors the doctors could get hurt and won’t be able to save anyone. What a waste! So I agree with all of the statements above and I believe they are all right.
The ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has brought unimaginable challenges to both, citizens and healthcare workers. In such critical times, the role of doctors becomes even more vital, but so does their safety. I agree with opinion C: "If government can't keep their doctors safe, then they should expect them to leave."
Doctors are on the frontline of saving lives, but their ability to do so is compromised when they are under constant threat. While their dedication to helping the wounded is unquestionable, their lives are valuable too. Many Doctors in Ukraine have been working in underground hospitals, often at great personal risk, simply because they feel a responsibility to their countrymen. However, the situation is unsustainable, if the environment remains unsafe. Governments must provide healthcare workers with the protection they need to continue their work.
In the end, we must acknowledge that the safety of doctors should be a priority. When governments fail to protect them, it's only natural for them to seek safer environments. Ensuring their well-being is not just about healthcare-it's about preserving humanity and the ability to heal in the midst of a conflict.
THANK YOU!
Doctors should stay and help their economy. But it is not a must for doctors to stay and help their country, though. Each doctor must feel free about what he wants to do. I agree with B and part of A. The part of A that says, "It is their responsibility to stay and help." B says, "Doctors are the most important times of conflict." I see that this is true too.
In the end, it is the doctor's choice if he wants to stay and help.
I agree with option C because doctors are important and if they want to stay safe and help other people they should leave. The government should expect that people want to be safe during war and should expect people to leave. Safety for yourself is important and the government has to deal with it.
I do not think that is wrong for doctors to leave. I know it is a really controversial topic but in this type of situations you have to see first for your family and yourself since you are in danger. If you want to stay to help other people it is really good and nice of you, but if you want to leave it is also fine.
Choice B is the one I agree with because we need doctors when conflict happens because without them it would be nothing, especially soldiers. Ukraine's army is decreasing because there are not a lot of hospitals and not a lot of doctors because almost half of them were killed during the war. If some kids in Ukraine are sick they wouldn't be able to get healthy because doctors were killed and there are no hospitals. We need doctors during conflict because without them we would be nothing without them.
I agree with "Option B" because being a doctor in general is just an important job and a whole lot of responsibility. And to be a doctor during the Ukraine and Russian war is a bigger responsibility to take on because they have to be on the battlefield and take care of injured soldiers and they have worry about the people who are not in the army and have medical issues. Like diabetes, seizures and things of that nature, but there are so many doctors who are on the battlefield that those people can't get taken care of. I just wonder how much stress the doctors are currently feeling because they have such a huge responsibility that they basically have the lives of all the soldiers on their shoulders. And people probably have such high expectations for these doctors and if soldiers die they will probably get the blame and get insulted. Overall doctors are the most important during times of conflict because they save people's lives.
I agree with Opinion B: "Doctors are the most important people during times of conflict." In war zones, access to medical can mean the difference between life and death. Doctors provide critical treatment for wounded soldiers and civilians, perform life-saving surgeries, and help prevent the spread of diesel in unstable conditions. Their work goes beyond treating injuries, they provide hope and stability in times of chaos.
For example, Roman Kuziv, a doctor and commander of Medical Forces in Ukraine, plays a critical role in ensuring that medical aid reaches those who need it most. His leadership in a conflict zone demonstrates how doctors are not just healers but also key figures in crisis response. Without medical professionals like him, that number of deaths and long-term disabilities would rise significantly.
In war, doctors are just as essential as soldiers. While armies fight to protect their nations, doctors fight to save lives regardless of which side a person is on. Their role in providing humanitarian aid, treating the injured, and supporting mental and physical recovery makes them some of the most important people in any conflict situation.
I agree with opinion C because I think that doctors are also ordinary people and if they are in danger they should also be protected because it would not be fair if everyone could be protected and doctors not.
I agree with opinion B, because medicine is important to cure the civilians. Nothing is more important than health and taking care of people. Of course, doctors should not flee their country, that would be an additional blow for the civilians and the soldiers.
I agree with B , doctors are very important because their jobs is to help the civilians and the soldiers. They need to stay to protect everyone and cure them, especially in times of war when there are so many wounded.
I think that B is the most important; Doctors are the most important people during times of conflict because if there stay in war zone they have a chance of dying. If the doctors are in a safe place they can take the care that the patient needs and in that case they can do what there need to do. I believe that C is a good choice because they are in a safe space but I don’t think that the should be forced to leave after the war is ended. In my point of view I think that A is the worst choice because If they are in war zone they have a 25% chance of survival and a 75% chance of death so they have a big rise if they go into war zone.
So I believe B is the best option
Thank you
I believe A is the most suitable. When this lesson was introduced, I thought that doctors are, at the end of the day, humans with a natural survival instinct. After coming across Doctors Without Borders, an independent medical charity for war zones, I realized that doctors working countless shifts are driven by valor and patriotism, rather than fear of being bombed. We can notice that Roman worked for his country, even if it meant working underground with barely any tools. I think doctors are people who have the magic to help any soldier who comes before them. A lack of medical facilities is the worst situation a country faces during a war. Medical staff balances the equation by helping hundreds of injured soldiers recover.
This statement does not mean that governments are free of all responsibilities, such as providing proper equipment, sanitation, and nutrition for doctors.
If a country is unable to provide medical services, the UN Department of Peacekeeping Operations should intervene by sending personnel. If the world monitors the state of its doctors, no conflict could harm them.
Now, if we consider the freedom of doctors, as expressed by Alexander, it is important for them to share their discoveries with international colleagues. If Russia has developed a cancer vaccine, there is no need to hide it from the world and force doctors to do the same. For example, the ISS was a result of global effort; no country could create such an engineering marvel alone. It is important for Russia to allow its doctors to interact with others to work towards a global cause.
Option C feels most right to me. If the doctors are not safe than why should they even stay? Don't they have their own life? No doubt doctors are needed at the time of war. But it is their right to leave. We have already heard many people fled the countries to be safe so doctors being a human being can leave too. If not then it is definitely violation of democracy and legal rights. As metioned in Roman and Alexzander sir's life story. They were required to stay in warzones and work tirelessly in unhuman conditions. With a all time threat of enemy's attack. Won't they question their life and regret being able to save lives. That will be most shameful if a person regrets working for country's benfit. Many may follow him and there might be lack of doctors at the time of crisis if they protest or something. I didn't choose option A,B as-
A-Yes ofcourse it is their responsibility to stay and help and they should not leave their people alone at the time of wars, but if a doctor gets hurt would he not think what was his mistake? Neither did he cause the war by nuking other countries nor took the pledge to protect his country like soldiers. Then why should he play with his life?
B-Even though doctors are important during war times, I will not say they are most important. The soldiers are most important in my opinion. Cause if there is no one to fight the country already looses and whom would doctors treat? They cannot treat the scar of our respective mother nation, the damages, the polution, the economy drop, can they? So we cannot regard them as the most important just like that.
I believe that options A, B, and C all time in with each other, which leads me to agree with all of them. B is most definitely correct because it's not everyone who can take care of the sick, perform surgeries, etc. And this is even more important during conflict when even more people are hurt and need doctors, so doctors are important. This ties into option A. Since so many people are relying on the help of doctors, it would be wise to let them stay, but it's important to remember that they are also human. If they feel they are not being treated fairly, then they have a choice to stay or not stay. This represents option C. So this is why I believe that all of the options make sense.
Option B is the opinion I agree with, Doctors are the most important people during conflict as they save soldiers, and innocent people who got in the crossfire. Life is precious and people shouldn't lose their lives over conflicts they cannot control/avoid and doctors saving people's life is like giving them a second chance in life as many people get badly injured in conflicts whom have little chances of surviving on their own or without doctor/medical assistance. Doctors can increase the chances of these badly injured and save people who would have died without their assistance. In conclusion, I believe doctors are the most important people as life is precious and should be a right to have as everyone only lives once and doctors give them a second chance in life to keep on experiencing how wonderful it is to be alive.
I do not fully agree with b, but i agree with c. B is not completely true because during a war, there will always be people that get hurt and need help in order to survive. We need doctors to help and save them. Apart from doctors who treat the wounded, soldiers and commanders are very, very important too. It starts with the political leader that makes strategic decisions together with the commanders. The soldiers execute the planned actions that impact the outcome of the war. If there wouldn't be soldiers to fight, the country would have to give up immedietly. If there is no war, the number of people that need to be saved is very low. This is why i think that doctors AND soldiers are themost important peopleduring times of conflict.
Doctors are human too. A lot of them have children and a family they love. The governments cannot expect that these people are willing to help others if they can be killed at any moment. In order to motivate the medical staff, not only doctors, but also nurses and paramedics to stay here, they need to feel safe. If a government wants these people to stay, they should protect them!
It is important to say that there arealready the Geneva Conventions that protect hospitals and medical workers in war. It is a WAR CRIME to attack or kill doctors and other medical staff that are not actively fighting in the combat.
Therefore they are already protected and still aroundf 3780 attacks were held on medical institutions and doctors. Without the Conventions, even more doctors would die.
This is why I thik that b is partally true and c is true.
A: I believe that this is wrong because doctors may be needed somewhere else though it really depends on what is happening. If everything of fine so far but the doctor has a life-threatening illness then need to attend to elsewhere- then of course they should go! There will be other doctors looking after the soldiers so at least one of them should be able to attend to a sick patient not in the battlefield, it’s only fair.
B: I do agree with opinion B because someone might be wounded and injured so the doctors need tone there for them. They could have caught a highly contagious illness off a plant or bomb and need assistance immediately. If there are no doctors, everyone in the army could get affected and their opponent will take over. So doctors are the most important people in conflict because if they are not there, it would erupt in chaos.
C: In my opinion, C is also correct because doctors need to stay safe and healthy themselves if they want to protect others. If doctors get injured, then they can’t help others who need it and that will be so much knowledge and help wasted. Even though they might be needed to stay, if they don’t have the correct protection then why should they stay? They need to stay healthy and safe themselves too. Therefore, I agree with C.
Apart from considering the safety of doctors, doctors are so essential for a country during a war that them leaving may be an attempt to boycott their country and the war if they think they are doing wrong or bad things. Russian doctors could be leaving Russian so they do not support Putin's regime and Russia cannot continue with the war. Nevertheless, this could be negative for innocent civilians and soldiers who didn't have a choice.
I absolutely agree with option B- doctors are the most important people during times of conflict as they are the only ones who can save lives of injured and I'll people and soldiers. If doctors would not be there during an ongoing conflict then disruption of the country's chances would increase as there would be no one left to protect it without a doctor. And there too is a condition that there should be a certain number of doctors who can effectively take care of injured and I'll people of the country.
I also find B to be most apt option of all the available choices.
War has calamaties and calamities need to tended by medical personell and Drs are the ones who play a crucial role in the lessenung of casualities by treating the injured.
I agree with Option B because, in warzones, there are many injured individuals who require aid and if doctors are not present, many people would succumb to their wounds. For example, in Gaza, many people had died during the attack that the Israelis launched in retaliation from the attack Hamas initiated on Israel. During the attack, many innocent Palestinians had died. Many doctors were present at the time but hospitals were destroyed in the attack. Without the doctors that are present, many citizens had died in the bombing or succumbed to their injuries. This proves how important doctors are in times of conflict.
Hello
In my opinion, I think B is the most important because with out the help of the doctor many people fighting, I think over the 80% of the injured in the war will die. But I also think C because doctor need to be well treated. I think is good that doctors go and escape from the country if they are not well cared. That is the way in which government will listen to them and keep better the doctor
In my opinion all 3 options are suitable in different types of cases but I believe that most valid is option C . Doctor as a profession comes with a great responsibility and it's also true that at the times of war doctors are considered as warriors and their importance at such situations gets more . But, we can't blame doctors as they are also humans and their lives are also important, they also have family waiting for them . So, if government's can't protect their doctor which are also citizens of the nation they shouldn't be forced to still pursue their job.
I disagree with opinion A ,“It’s wrong for doctors to leave warzones for any reason. It’s their responsibility to stay and help.”
While doctors have crutial role in warzones but their safety is also important. As Roman Kuziv's story highlights that the doctors in Ukrain have a high risk, and it's unrealastic to expect them to stay in such prone area without any adequate protection.
In fact, Alexander Vanyukov's story in Russia shows thar even medical professionals are affected by conflict and have immense risk, making it difficult for them to provide care.
Henceforth, I think opinion C makes more sense “If governments can’t keep their doctors safe, then they should expect them to leave.” Because in my personal opinion, its government's responsibility to make sure the safety of their healthcare workers, and if they fail to do so, so doctors should not be expected to put their lives at risk and help people.
Thank you.
Hello Topical talk,
as i thought, i figured C must and have to be the main and best point as no one or at least a few doctors have the courage and mental ability to stay in the battlefield while the country isn't protecting them which would not make the country responsible or guilty for any of the doctors' deaths.
for The doctors it is a must have for the rights to flee the country whenever they want as long as the amount of wounded patients are over the average counts. but if they don't have a contract stating that they can't flee and that they are under the name of the country they can even flee if the patients are more than usual. another reason is that Ukraine started the war in the first place which makes the people with knowledge about the war resign the contract and the jobs then leave the country.
So in my opinion, C is correct and each doctor knows what is great for him and it is his responsibility to take care of his life by fleeing. Thanks for reading!
I think the correct option is the B because the priority are the lives of the people in the war, and no matter how they fight, how they use weapons, or how intelligent they are that in case that somebody is hurt the best situation would be to have a doctor near you.
In my opinion, I would say B, "Doctors are the most important people in times of conflict." During a conflict, many soldiers might get injured or be at extreme risk of death, and if there wasn't a doctor, the soldier might either die or get an infection due to the wound. But if there were doctors, then they might be able to enter the battlefield and save the injured soldiers life. That's why, I feel "Doctors are the most important people in times of conflict."
I absolutely agree with Opinion C, mainly because if governments can’t put up with the medical demand and the harms of the consequences of the management of their own country, then they shouldn't expect such an immense amount of loyalty from their medical professionals. One of the experts helped me gain evidence to this point with his experience: Russian medical director Alexander Vanyukov mentioned how medical professionals are losing the working positions they worked so hard for, and even being unfairly imprisoned, merely for thinking differently from the government. This way, the government is still gaining control, one way or another, of the professionals that stayed in those hospitals, and didn’t flee the country or refuse to collaborate. There was a specific sentence of his that completed my point of view: “It is not important how good you are, but how loyal”. With all this said, I think I have enough evidence to support my claim: medical professionals should have the freedom to decide for themselves without having such serious repercussions as the ones formerly mentioned. They should be treated for what they are: human beings, and not pawns used for their importance during the conflict.
I would like to discuss opinion C. I fully agree that if governments can’t keep their doctors safe then course they should expect them to leave. However, Alexander Vanyukov stated in his video, that no matter how good a doctor is, they still have to side with the government even if they think the government are making bad decisions. This is very unfair because the doctors are there to help people, but if they feel that bad things are going on and their government aren’t doing anything about it, then they definitely should be able to speak up without fear of losing their job or being prosecuted. They only want to help the military but doing this is preventing them from actually just doing there job. What can we do to change this?
I partially agree with option B with it saying that doctors are the most important people during times of conflict. They are most likely part of the top 5 people that are needed for times of conflict because with every war, battle, and fight between any kinds of countries you will have injured soldiers and victims. Oftentimes these soldiers or victims require medical attention, meaning that doctors and anyone with medical experience. Doctors might not be the most important people at times of conflict, but they are some of the most important people during times of struggle for the people.
Doctors play a crucial role during times of conflict, so that's why I agree with option B. Without doctors, soldiers would not receive the necessary medical treatment and would be in an abysmal state. The absence of doctors would lower the population, and would eventually lead to the loss of the war. Power along with the soldiers' morals would decrease, and all of that would cause a reduction in the military's overall state. Not only can doctors benefit soldiers, they can treat civilians as well. For instance they can diagnose illnesses, and give medicine.
An example of a doctor during war time is Roman Kuziv. At the beginning of the full scale war, Russians targeted Ukraine's facilities which are 10 or 15 kilometres from the battlefield. So as a result, Ukraine established underground hospitals which are 6 metres down. This allows Roman Kuziv and his team to further provide medical care for soldiers in safer conditions. These installments made by Ukraine in order to protect doctors show how essential doctors really are.
Lastly, times of conflict could be very dangerous and challenging. Doctors are one of the most important people on the battlefield because of their ability to treat soldiers and civilians. So, I believe that doctors should be more supported by the government.
Doctors plays a crucial role during the conflict times, illustrating the multifaceted nature of their work during times of war. Doctors do not only provide immediate medical care for injuries and diseases but also offer vital psychological support, helping to address the mental toll of conflict. Their involvement extends beyond just healthcare; they help maintain stability and peace by treating all individuals, regardless of their affiliation, and contributing to a sense of community and trust.
In war-torn environments, where healthcare infrastructure is often destroyed, doctors are essential in managing infectious disease outbreaks, ensuring hygiene, providing vaccinations, and alleviating the suffering of those affected by both physical and psychological trauma. The dedication of doctors in these settings is not without significant risk, as they often work under dangerous conditions with limited resources.
By focusing on the value of healthcare professionals during conflict, the passage underscores the importance of supporting these individuals, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to continue their life-saving work. Recognizing their role and commitment in war zones can help sustain their efforts and contribute to the survival and well-being of those caught in the horrors of war. Their work is a vital part of not only healing but also rebuilding communities after the devastation of conflict.
I completely and strongly agree with option B that doctors are the most important people during the times of conflict. After reading many discussions too I feel that doctors are as said "the true heroes" of the nation even in the times of conflict.I feel this because of many supporting reasons like..
Firstly doctors not only provide physical support but also do caregiving jobs for mental health too.For example when the soldiers are not only injured physically but lose the hope and become pessimist,The doctors uplift them and give them a ray of hope and show the path to being optimistic. To doctors also encourage the soldiers and the affected people mentally as well as physically.
Secondly,Even in a place of conflict like warzones, where there is no patch of land to see and only bloodshed and rivers of blood flowing everywhere,Where anyone might face insanity and huge trauma to even see the place,The doctors face the situation and work day and night to save the lives of many innocent people while risking their own lives.
There are en num
I believe all three statements have some truth, but option C makes the most sense. Doctors are very important in warzones, and their job is to save lives, but they are also human. Expecting them to stay in danger without proper protection is unfair. They want to help, but they should not be forced to risk their lives without support.
Instead of blaming doctors for leaving, governments should focus on keeping them safe. Hospitals should be protected so doctors can work without fear for their own lives. They also need medicine, equipment, and good working conditions to do their job properly. Roman Kuziv mentioned that creating better infrastructures, like underground hospitals, can help doctors keep working safely in difficult conditions. This shows that with the right tools and setups, doctors can continue helping even in dangerous times.
If a government cannot ensure the safety of doctors or give them the resources they need, it's understandable that some will leave. Doctors can save lives only if they are alive and prepared to help. Instead of forcing the doctors to stay, the focus should be on making sure they have everything they need to keep doing their work.
From my point of view, the best option is B. I think this because their job is helping and healing the wounded and they must stay with them, especially in wars, because there are more injured. Their work is saving lives, and when most lives need to saved is in wars. If doctors leave warzones, many people will lost their lives, their will be less people to fight, so the army will decrease, and this could lead to losing the war.
I feel that in my opinion Doctors are the most important people during the times of conflict as they play a very vital role in social services even in the land of wars.I feel this personally because doctors play huge role on ground level as they save many innocent lives and provide not only physical but also mental support by giving hope and faithfulness. They guide the lost and help people overcome trauma even after being in a place of bloodshed and massacre facing insane trauma themselves.Still they stand on the frontiers and work tirelessly day and night to save lives, give healthcare and support the nation.Even after providing so many things the doctors are not appreciated or even given proper recognition..This tends to be a large issue even today. We all should understand this that without doctors millions of lives will be lost painfully and it will be a dent on humanity.
That's why to sum up,I feel that doctors play a significant and major role even in times of conflict and provide assistance both physically and emotionally even in the worst scenarios, saving lives day and night without fearing for their lives.Thats why they should be treated with respect and dignity.
