Thank you to those of you who sent in questions for Pete to answer. There were lots of good questions to choose from, but here are the ones Pete answered:

free_snail asked: what is the biggest obstacle you’ve faced in your job?

inventive_conclusion asked: have you personally been trying to make your diet more sustainable? Do you think that a person is able to be sustainable on their own without the motive of society?

receptive_outcome asked: what sustainable plans for food waste have you helped to create?

quickwitted_tamarind asked: how can we make earth more sustainable whilst the cost of living goes up? Food waste is big in my county, how would you convince everyone that they need to help without them feeling like they are hard done by?

Well done to free_snail, inventive_conclusion, receptive_outcome and quickwitted_tamarind who have each been awarded 3 stars for their chosen questions!

If you are the leader of the global initiative of the WWF Food Distribution Program - the world's leading independent conservation organization, whose mission is to prevent food waste, why not participate and be a leader to prevent food waste at the World Cup? We now see that the World Cup needs someone to govern food waste The match ends, and we see a huge amount of food. This gave us opportunities to benefit from it. Is it true or not?!

How is it possible to eradicate poverty in places where all the inhabitants are poor? Something that simplifies them without them realizing it other than opening charitable places for them, and other things that mean things that they cannot think of as theirs because they are poor.

Thank you very much for these enthusiastic answers, which encouraged me to preserve my environment more, and to understand that everything we want comes after great fatigue, just as we want the world to be free of poverty, we must take many difficult steps to achieve this, And that patience is not the only key to comfort, but also with seriousness, we can achieve everything we want

Do you find it difficult to communicate the concept of preserving food and preventing food waste? What are the most countries, in your opinion, if they stop wasting food, they will have saved you a lot in your work?

I want to ask Pete Pearson a question that I hope to get an answer for?
What are the alternatives with the increase in population growth and the food pandemic, and famine resistance in the world, the years and the long-term?!

The problem of wasting food is the opposite of the need for food. If we look at the world around us, we will see that humans, their cultures and habits are the cause of all crises. We live on a planet that is functioning in an ideal way, but human interventions hinder it. As the years pass, the problems are getting worse. I see that in 2022 we are living in a pandemic. Rampant conflicts, a warming climate, rising prices, and international tensions. All this affects and increases the problem of food security. I want to ask you, do you see that the problem of food waste depends on the lifestyle of people, such as buying more than needed, relying on the harsh form of food, storing food in an incorrect way, and disrespecting food? We were going to talk about a problem, so I see it as branching and rooted, as long as a person does not change his life and lifestyle, so do you agree with me?

1- How will you advise bakery and restaurant owners to stop wasting excess food from customers and how to exploit it
2- Do you agree with my idea of not building housing and factories on agricultural land and the possibility of reclamation of desert lands and planting them with wheat and durra to stop famines

(My question is for Pete Pearson)
The effect of deadly wastewater and agricultural drugs and how they can be combated with natural and effective sources. Over the recent years, we have noticed an exponential rise in cancers due to these drugs. Is there a solution for these medicines without harming humans and the environment?!

    Hello Mr. Pete Pearson
I was very impressed by what you are doing in the World Food Organization to solve this crisis, which I believe is one of the most serious crises the world is facing.
Your wonderful ideas in spreading a culture that everyone can take responsibility for this crisis is wonderful, as everyone can be able to think seriously about others
It would be nice if you answered my questions?
How can countries suffering from this crisis double the amount of aid provided to them?
How is it possible to truly benefit from thinking about responsibility and making initiatives as a quick response, such as reducing the waste of excess food or throwing it away?
Are you thinking of presenting a global campaign to educate the world about the necessity of optimal use of nature and the danger resulting from negligence in such a crisis?
How can a global institution spread awareness, taking into account the different culture of the world?
