My right as a doctor.
This post was written by a student. It has not been fact checked or edited.
Health is the field on which all other fields are based, in work, study, food, travel, life and anything else.
If a person is afflicted with any misfortune anywhere, then he resorts to doctors, to detect the injury and take the doctor’s advice and the necessary treatment for him. In special times, we need health care more than what we are used to, especially doctors and nurses, such as: times of mass spread of diseases and epidemics, and also in cases of war when the number of wounded and dead increases, Some of them need treatment and some of them need emergency surgery. So the doctor does it in a hurry to save lives, avoid losing them, and do the impossible to save the soul.
If we think a lot, what will happen to us if one day we go to a hospital and we do not find a specialist doctor, or if there are few doctors in the hospital?
Our fate will be that we do not receive the appropriate treatment, and then the deterioration of the health condition, and in some cases the loss of life.
So why all this? Why are the needs and requirements of all doctors not met psychologically first, then financially, so that they can do their work happily and comfortably?
Or dividing the doctors into groups and exchanging them during working hours, so that each doctor gets enough sleep, and sits with the hearts of his family like any normal person, because he is also a human being who is not only enslaved in his work.
He is a person who wants to go out to practice his daily habits among his family and friends.
What else must we do for doctors to motivate them to give their work with pleasure?
1. Increasing their salaries and providing bonuses.
2. Monthly leaves.
3. Meetings with the most experienced doctors to benefit from their skills.
4. Create a special fund for them in time of need for any amount of time of distress.
5. Reducing the cost of teaching medicine so that everyone can study it and not deprive people of intermediate level or less from learning it.
6. Employing new medical graduate students and training them for work.
7. Protect doctors at the time of an epidemic or war and provide them with what is necessary to avoid the spread of disease among them, and provide them with health insurance.

I agree because my elder brother is also a doctor. He don't have time to meet us.He is always busy in his work.
By doing this much of hardwork he don't have good salary.Sometime,I used to think that doctor life is too tough. So,I respect them a lot for their hardwork.
Hi amiable_dove,
There are doctors in my family too, and I agree - they are always busy working hard for others!
What do you think we could do to make work life easier for doctors? For example, monetary bonuses, more holiday entitlement, etc. What are your ideas?
We can do a lot, for example: offering them rewards such as the Nobel Prizes, but to be weekly or monthly, and holding competitions among them in terms of the best work, and material and financial prizes, in order to encourage them in their work, and for them to understand that we appreciate their hard work and respect them.
I agree because... Rewards motivate and encourage the doctor to perform his work with love.
Hello Jocelyne,
I think hospital manager should divide the working time and day of the doctors. It can be possible when there will be enough doctors. As we can see in our society due to the high cost of teaching medicine, parents are not willing to teach their child in this field. In order to make doctor life much better, government should reduce the cost of teaching medicine. So,that they could me doctor. At last I want to say that government should play big role to make doctor life easier.
There are some great suggestions in response to my question here - thank you all, and well done!
I think to make the work life easier for the doctors the government or the private hospitals they work in should actually consider reducing on their work hours so that these doctors would have enough rest and prepare to go to work the next day because there are some doctors who leave work like at 11pm and are expected to be there at 5am which isn't fair. They should also give doctors days off so that they can have time to spend with their families and to also refresh their minds. They should also increase the salaries of these doctors because they put in much effort to see that they treat the patients and they also have bills to pay for and children to provide for education and that will all be possible if their salaries are increased. They should also give out appraisals for example Doctor of the Month to motivate the rest to work harder. And then lastly I would suggest that the government dedicates a day for the doctors to be remembered for the good job they continue doing and this will make these doctors feel that his or her hard work hasn't been a waste and it will motivate them to continue their good job.
It is a good idea to praise doctors for doing a good job. Do you also think they should be praised by receiving a pay increase?
Yes, the should receive a pay increase because this will motivate them to work harder since they are now receiving enough like to give an example in Uganda the president said that science teachers should receive 4million Uganda shillings as their monthly salary making their salary more than that of the doctors and this made the doctors annoyed some of them quit their jobs to go look for good paying jobs that's why actually our country is facing Dr. Shortages. But If they increase their salary you might find that those that had quit will come back and do their job very well.
I agree because...We must feel for others from all angles as we think for ourselves.
I agree because... The one who feels the most for others is the one who has previous dealings and experience with those jobs.
just like you .
You felt the doctor because there is a brother of yours who works as a doctor. This feeling helps to feel them and help them change their mood for the better.
Thank you glorious lake for understanding the pain of doctors. They suffered a lot in their job.
If there will be more people like you, this problem can be solved.
You are absolutely right, because the doctor has the right to live like any normal person who enjoys his freedom, because in the end he is a human being like us, and international institutions must set rights for doctors, whether male or female, and the most prominent of these rights must be his right to see and sit
With his family at least 5 hours a day, and to raise their salaries because when we compare their salary, the hard work they put in will be a total difference between them, and by this the doctor will relax psychologically and will make more effort in treating the patients carefully, and thus it will be a better life for us and for the doctors
Well most doctors don't have time for their families because most at times they go for shifts, they work effortlessly just to see that people in the society are doing well and yet they still are not appreciated the way they are meant to their salaries are most at times low upon the hours that they spend in taking care of people. well according to my research there are seven things you must sacrifice to become a doctor:
-desire of being wealthy early
-desire to bring a change in the world
-weekend plans with family and friends
-a good night sleep
- you will never be completely able to please anyone
-you will forget your creativity
-your right to good health.
i think the best way to reward doctors is by increasing their salaries. Reducing their work schedule so that they can spend family time with their family and also have a goodnight rest. Allowing them have extracurricular life apart from the life of a doctor.
Well I agree with the point that in life one way or the other we need doctors in are live but the spotlight is been placed on health care professions for example :
We have professions like engineers they are the one how are in charge or constructing, building and maintain the buildings in which health care worker operate.
We still have the Semiconductor processors how make the chips in the computers used doctor
Let us divert from the less professional careers like photography it seems less important but it is actual important because the in future when you look back at some picture you took in an event there is this kind of inner joy the comes from the inside of remembering the old memories in short the major work of a photographer is keeping, preserving or making memories.
I agree with you because alot of professions are being negleted by people. People want jobs that are popularly known worldwide but when you look into the futures these jobs will not be needed so we should look for jobs that will benefit on the future and leave the health care
All jobs have the same importance and depend on each other, we cannot do without any job even if it is in your opinion unimportant.
Well, I agree with that, either because I live in occupied Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, and despite that, we have many geniuses and highly qualified people, but we lack doctors because of the lack of hospitals and health centers that execute and contain new graduates and help them develop that
I agree because.I believed that the number of doctors we have few.
But the number of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine is many, and most of them sit at home. If the Ministry of Health took advantage of employing some of them, or helping them build private clinics for them, in order to have a balance in health care for us..
As I said earlier in my comments on medical topics, I mentioned that it was my father’s dream, and my dream as well. I know the importance of doctors, especially in the area in which I live. In my opinion, the presence of doctors in hospitals is very important, and we must take care that they have a life other than caring for patients. They are from the beginning of their studies, and they are isolated from social life, and our duty towards them is to raise their wages, and to provide them with sufficient vacations, and now the world must have become a small village due to the existence of the Internet, so why not implement a program whose idea is centered around the patient writing down his symptoms And in the application there are doctors who answer patients’ questions and prescribe appropriate treatment for them, even if they are doctors in their homes, as they live in their work and also enjoy with their families. I hope that you will take my idea into consideration and solve all the problems of doctors in the world.
I agree because... The idea of the programs is good, but there are diseases that need to be diagnosed by touching and looking at the disease, which is in front of your eyes and not behind the screens.
The patient is relieved when he sees the doctor treating him face to face, because there are people who are afraid of devices from a distance, so they look at themselves as if they have a serious disease.
I agree because... Doctor is compared to the God so The God is the one who create us and can destroy us. So if a person is giving you a chance to live they are considered as god .So if somebody is affected by some diseases it will lead to their death and if they consult the doctor they can cure it and give rebirth to the person. What is done by the god here a human being is doing it . My right as a doctors is give them schedule to work ,some doctors are working for 24 hours they are humans so they get exhausted .So give doctors a perfect schedule about their timings to work .
Yes, the doctors suffer greatly, as they do not practice their lives as they were before employment, so they only have their work, they see their family only for a little time, or rather they do not see them except for a few minutes, and they do not return to their homes except for a few days of For the whole month, and with all this suffering, their monthly salary is not much. I believe that doctors have rights that must be observed:
The most important of which is holding official vacations for them, employing a larger number of medical students, and most importantly providing their monthly and annual salary because the doctor’s profession can only be done by those with experience and high competence. That we lose all doctors.
I agree because... I agree with your opinion, especially that doctors do not have time to object or protest, and if I am a doctor, I will protest against all this and I will file complaints to everyone, and I will work to educate patients that doctors are not robots, even robots have a battery that ends, so everyone must take care of them and support them
Yes, I agree with you. Physicians should be respected, valued and rewarded for the tireless work they do.
When doctors see interest in them, their medical capacity increases and they become highly qualified in performing their profession.
Thank you for agreeing with me and responding to my comment.
They work 24 hours a day they should get a rest this is why you should agree with me .If you were not feeling well they would help you
I agree with this point because doctors spend loads of time at work and barley get any time with there family as when there at home there sleeping so there not tired for there next shift in the morning. So that is why doctors should get more credit, money and or sure more time with there family.
I always say I want to become a doctor, but being a doctor is something that is not easy. I agree that all the requirements must be provided for the doctor because he works hard and tired, and also my aunt is a physiotherapist, but she never has a day of rest, she always works. You work a bit of rest morning and evening, but all of this does not change my view of the specialty of medicine and its practical fields, and I say once again that I want to become a doctor and hold a medical degree in my hand, and I can treat people and discover epidemics and viruses.

I see that as a doctor, this profession should be respected and appreciated. Some people see doctors as just a tool that works to accomplish the mission of saving lives in exchange for money, and they do not realize their efforts and the size of the responsibility that rests on their shoulders. The same field of work in terms of salaries, so it must be according to competencies 3// to have the capabilities necessary to diagnose the disease and medication, 4// to agree to monthly vacations in order to practice my personal and social life and this is the simplest of rights.
Doctors works around the world are in services to protect people from diseases and viruses and treat them from them to become better off and diagnose them with medication for treatment. There are a lot of doctors around the world who get diseases and viruses while they work but don't care about it and don't provide them with material support. They also think that the doctor doesn't get sick, and what's important is that he treats people and doesn't care about them, but that's wrong. Doctors are human beings like us as well. They get sick and tired, so all countries and societies also have to provide them with medical protection, as doctors give to people, as well as doctors, and they have rights. They must also be valued and honored for their hard work, be proud of them, be paid adequately and adequately and have medical protection.
As a doctor everyone should take in consideration that I have rights as the right of any human being, these rights are:
1- The right to personal safety
2- Prosecuting and punishing the perpetrators of the assault on doctors
3- I have the right to respect my private life, so there is no media defamation or media fabrication of possible medical errors or complications before expressing the scientific and legal opinion by the specialists.
4- The guardian of the right to fair and humane treatment
5- The right to judicial protection, which are rights subject to the principle of equality, knowing that I strive to preserve human life, but I do not guarantee the result.
6- The guardian has the right to social security for life, the right to an appropriate standard of living, and the right to an appropriate wage, and its link to the cost of living index.
7- I also have the right to preserve my properties in the light of scientific, technological and environmental developments.
The time has come to secure my immunity as a doctor and to promote my material, social and scientific rights, and the need to embody them in practice in the legal systems and with the guarantors, official and private ones, and with hospitals. And I get appreciation and honor in my country.
What else should we do for doctors to motivate them to give their work with pleasure?
1- First, provide them with patients with serious conditions that need a doctor as soon as possible, and if they all offer a helping hand to help save his life, then they will realize that they are important and that the world needs them because the world does not know what time holds for it, then they will understand when then what life will be like if it is short. A doctor in a hospital.
2- Secondly, it is the entitlement of every human being that if he does a good deed and does a good job, he should take his full wage, supplementing it and adding to it if he did well in that.
3- Thirdly, and the most important thing is that a donation be made at an expense in order to purchase modern equipment that must be available in hospitals. Therefore, any country must donate to hospitals to provide all people’s requirements for their treatment.
In my opinion, the profession of doctors is the most difficult profession, so they must have complementary rights, for example: 1- Availability of all preventive tools to avoid infection. 2- The availability of all modern medical devices to make my work better. 3- I also have the right to have awareness-raising activities suggesting the importance of the doctor. 4- Non-racism, meaning that some people do not go to black-skinned doctors 5- Do not underestimate animal doctors. Because animals are spirit. Finally, I thank all the doctors from all countries
Doctors around the world perform great services to try to protect people from diseases and epidemics. They also make a great effort in diagnosing disease and medicine together, which makes their work appreciated by patients.
Doctors have the following rights:
1. treatment with respect and appreciation
2. not to stop practicing my profession as a doctor except within the limits of the law,
3. to be honored in their countries
4. to be given the status they deserve
5. for people to know their position in them, and to obtain adequate remuneration.
