The FILM I know is called 'Lincoln' and it is produced and also directed by Steven Spielberg, casting Daniel Day-Lewis as Abraham Lincoln.

It is basically a biopic/biographical drama of former US President Abraham Lincoln, specifically focuses on the final four months of his life, mainly on his efforts in 1865 to abolish slavery and involuntary servitude by having the 'Thirteenth Amendment' to the 'United States Constitution' passed by the 'United States House of Representatives'.

It links to DEMOCRACY these two things called 'SLAVERY' and 'INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE' spoils the rights, independence and sovereignty of the common people more than any other thing and abolishing these were one of the most efficient steps to establish DEMOCRACY over the world, getting rid of the worst phases of the AUTOCRATIC nations.

1-The movie I know is Lincoln by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
2- It relates to the events that revolve around a pivotal chapter in the life of the American President (Abraham Lincoln), his efforts to win the American Civil War, which lasted for four years, and the of the Thirteenth Amendment to the American Constitution that prohibits slavery in all its forms, and the difficulties he faced by his political opponents in the House of Representatives.
3- It is associated with democracy when US President Abraham expressed it in his most famous speech in the city of Gettysburg - Pennsylvania, when he said democracy is the rule of the people by the people by the people.

The book I'm thinking of is the hunger games and it links heavily to the power of perspectives: I the book the reader follows the thoughts of Katniss Everdeen and we get to hear her opinion on the hunger games, which is a novel about a dystopian future where what we currently know as America has been destroyed by war and the country of Panem rises from the ashes. In Panem, there are 12 poor and struggling districts and the wealthy capitol. Each year the capitol hosts the hunger games to remind the 12 districts of the rebellion that took place many years ago and to ensure it never happens again. I think that the power of perspectives is so important because everybody's thoughts differ on the morality of the hunger games, for example, Katniss Everdeen feels that the hunger games is a twisted and unjust practice that brutally sacrifices the lives of innocents for the sole purpose of entertaining the better off. Although we don't hear it in the book, it can be implied that the creators of the hunger games and the capital citizens find it a thrilling television event that is "celebrated" around the country. The reason that the capitol people take such pleasure in the hunger games is because it doesn't affect them, and the book is far more interesting since we get to see from the perspective of someone actually taking part in the games and experiencing the terror. If we had heard the story from the point of view of someone from the capitol we would have thought that the hunger games was an entertaining and fun experience; a direct contrast to the reading experience that we do get.

The Film or I should say a Japanese animation series I know is called "Dr. Stone" which is Directed by Shinya Iino and Written by Yuichiro Kido.

The film is about a dazzling green light striking the Earth, scaring everyone and turning them to stone all around the world. Several millennia later, Taiju, a robust school kid, awakens to find that the modern world has vanished, and that nature has flourished during the period when civilization was at a standstill. In the stone world of statues, Taiju comes finds one other living human: his science-loving foe Senkuu, who has been active for a few months. Senkuu has created a massive scheme to use science to spark the entire restoration of civilisation, Taiju discovers. Taiju's strength and Senkuu's intelligence combine to form a formidable combination, and they quickly figure out how to resurrect the petrified.

In my lens, this story relates and links to both "The power of perspective" and "Protecting the climate" at the same time.

The power of perspective because in the story, The main character Senkuu uses his knowledge, science and intelligence to rebuild and restore the past modern world slowly through using natural resources. But when some humans defy and go against his perspective, the situation got worse. SO EVERY PERSPECTIVE IS IMPORTANT AND EQUAL IRRESPECTIVE OF STRENGTH, POWER ETC. EVEN A SCHOOL KID CAN CHANGE THE WORLD THROUGH HIS KNOWLEDGE.

And at last, "Protecting the climate" because the story tells us about an apocalyptic event which we can relate to a consequence of climate change and afterwards, Sekuu's actions which we can relate to steps we must take to tackle and protect our climate.

I am so sorry for the previous comment! Here is the real one.

The film I know is called "The Lorax" and is by Dr. Seuss. It is about Ted, a 12-year-old boy, who sets out to search the long-extinct Truffula tree, however, in his journey, he has to overcome a number of obstacles; one of the obstacles is... there are no trees! He lives in a world where people have to buy air, there are rubber/ plastic trees, a huge wall separating the city from the outside world and the outside world is in complete desolation.

It is linked to PROTECTING THE CLIMATE because its main message is to save the earth and curb climate change. During a flashback, we see a young man who found a way to make a lot of money by cutting down trees and producing fabric and clothing, the power goes to his head and he ends up cutting down every single tree in the valley, with no trees to absorb the carbon dioxide the air becomes unbreathable and uninhabitable. It teaches young ones and old that climate change is absolutely horrifying and we should try our best to reduce it.

Sorry for the inconsistency with @insightful_world. But it has never been possible to take everything positively. If so, the United Nations would not have been formed. If the founders were positive about the destruction of World War II, we wouldn't be writing comments here.

We cannot take everything beautifully even if we strive to, because the acceptance of good in everything will lead to new normalizations in the society which will eventually jeopardize the harmony of the society. We cannot take oppression, repression positively because it opposes the holiness of the soul, it violates the human rights.

Take industrialization for example. With the advancement of industrialization, people are being provided with better quality of life, more job opportunities, and many more benefits. But on the other side of the coin, more industries mean more carbon emission, more pollution, and more global warming. If we consider only the positive aspects of it, we will fail to address the curse of global warming, and that sure will not be good for us.

Dear friend, here the perspective neither goes for united nations, nor for US Army. It's all about the father showing life to be beautiful to his son, and at that part, I will say it worked! Cause, at the end when he was being killed, he went to that zone mocking, which made his son laugh! Normally, if anyone knows his father is going to have gun shots, he will start crying out loud. But here, the scene was made somewhat beautiful, as the son was waiting for his father to come and he was hiding himself from the enemies yet in this situation his father made him laugh. No dark cloud of sorrows came to the boy. So, yes, there lied beauty beneath.

    1. The book I read is “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People”
    Author: Stephen R. coffee
    2. He talked about that we must change the lens through which we see things around us (intellectual perspectives) and this will reflect on our behaviors and we will begin to see the radical change around us. Deep change, not that fragile change that doesn't last long
    3. He explains the impact of changing our views for the better, and that we look at the glass half-full and not empty

1-The book, called Democracy in America, was written by Alexis de Tocqueville.
2-It is about the change in social conditions in America, and that American institutions are democratic not aloss in their principles, but in their results, The people elect a president who is in proportion to their decisions, the people are the real power and the majority, as in the case of countries where the people are the highest.
3-It links to democracy, and democracy has a big influence on politics, because the main goal of this book is to analyze different forms of political society, and Tocqueville makes the right predictions about America.

1- The Book is the End of History and the Seal of Mankind by Francis Fukuyama
2- The book talks about the pessimism about the future of civilization, which was born due to the events of the First and Second World Wars.
3- I think that the book is related to democracy because it is a review of the hypothesis of whether the belief linking progress and liberal democracy expresses a narrow ethnocentrism. Western pessimism reinforced the possibility of democracies spreading and flourishing, and they even accepted communism as a powerful alternative to democracy.

The Day After Tomorrow” is considered one of the most “climate fiction” films directed and written by Roland Emmerich, the sudden and catastrophic climate change that plunges the world into chaos as blizzards lash out in New Delhi, tornadoes uproot Los Angeles, snowballs hit Tokyo, and tidal waves submerge The islands of Manhattan.

Are we people of democracy? It is the title of a book by the author Muhammad Moncef Marzouki on the problem of democracy in the Arab world, as an important and sensitive issue, because it's presents a proposal on how to get out of the authoritarian situation prevalent in the Arab world to horizons of freedom, equality, rule of law, creativity and comprehensive human openness.

On Democracy) A book by Robert Dahl contains a lot and asks about the meaning of democracy? And how to establish it and distinguish between democratic and non-democratic government? How can a non-democratic state turn into a democracy?? What is meant by deepening democracy in a democratic state?? Why do we want democracy at all??? These questions made a book with powerful and exciting content...

2/ “Back to Earth” tells about North American history from an environmental perspective, interesting and easy to read. A chapter explains how we knew where our food came from, but eventually pushed agriculture to the margins of our cities
3/ The book is about climate because the food we eat causes many other problems. “Back to Earth” made me realize that this country was founded on harnessing resources and that everything we do has an impact.”

It is a film about where every incident and scene are arranged in reverse order, so each new scene that is played fundamentally modifies the view of the previous scene from an individual viewpoint.

It links to THE POWER OF PERSPECTIVES because every scene it plays radically revises our perspective and through the power of perspective an eternal loser imprisoned in a fake world full of seemingly infallible notes discovers that without the power of perspective, SELF WOULD BE A MYSTERY and problem remains a problem.

The BOOK I know is called ‘And the stars were burning brightly’ by Danielle Jawande.

It is about a teenage boy and his family living in Manchester. He (Al) is bullied horribly as those around him believe him to be different. None of his family are aware and Al deciders to tell no one. Not even his best friend, Megan. Megan is also horribly treated by her supposed friends but when Al is driven to taking his own life (This happens before the boons starts) she begins to stand up against her tormentors and fights to keep Al’s memory alive with his brother Nathan.

This links to, The power of perspectives as without his peers looking down in him and spreading false rumours and jokes which gave everyone the belief he deserved it Al would never have felt he had no other options. Perspectives can be a blessing in a circumstance where it is no longer possible to stay using only the facts but sometimes - like in the book - it can mean that information is being spread without the facts which image extremely important.

Hayek largely challenged the general view among British academics that fascism was a capitalist reaction against socialism, and even argued that fascism and socialism had common roots in central economic planning and in the power of the state over the individual.

The book I know is called There Is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years is by Mike Berners-Lee.
It is about the questions that most people ask when it comes to climate change. It answers the questions and designs scenarios of what could happen if we could not find another planet for humans. With many problems arising on our planet like plastic mass production, pollution, antibiotics, famines and CO2 emissions, the world is facing a serious problem. It is the humanity decision to choose either to make it safe or break the planet until it is not inhabitable.
It links protecting the climate to the humanitarian side of protecting our only planet. It shows every one real and practical steps that we could take to improve our well being on this planet. This book depicts our biggest environmental problems and challenges that we must face together and not only address it through government and international community.

One quote that I liked in the book is “How can I help to create the conditions under which the world that I want to see becomes possible?” which seems as a big question to answer, but it is possible to answer. It is possible to make it.

The movie you chose is An Inconvenient Truth directed by Davis Guggenheim

He talks about the phenomenon of global warming, which aims to alert the public to a global emergency and also mentions the current and future effects of global warming.
He also said a phrase I will not forget, which is that global warming is "not really a political issue, but a moral issue"
and also describes the consequences that will result if not The amount of greenhouse gases that humans generate is underestimated and aims to refute critics who say global warming is unproven or that global warming will be negligibl

The film ends in a positive and motivating way for the audience to help reduce global warming, which is that each one of us can reduce global warming through a change in the things we buy, the electricity we use, the cars we drive and also we can make choices to reduce our individual carbon emissions to zero.
We just want our hands on the determination to make it happen.
We have everything we need to reduce carbon emissions, everything but political will.
But in America, the will to act is a renewable resource.

It is a satirical and humorous political book that discusses the life of the Arab people in an interesting, beautiful, and painful manner at the same time. Informing him, and his loss of freedom in his land, this also sheds light on the dark and bad period of Arab life in the modern era.

The book I know is called ( The fourty roule of love) and is by Elaf shafeq.
The novel narrates the journey of Shams al-Tabrizi, which extends from Samarkand and Baghdad, to Konya, Turkey, passing through Damascus, to his death in Konya, at the hands of a hired killer after completing his mission for which he was created, which is the search for God and his knowledge. He asked God to help him to convey his wisdom that he gathered from his travels and roaming around the world to the right person, so his guardian angel asked him to go to Baghdad to meet his companion.
The novel moves through three novels at once and in two different times, separated by nearly eight centuries. It tells about Shams al-Din al-Tabrizi, the founder of "The Forty Rules of Love", who was able to change an outstanding Sufi personality such as Jalal al-Din al-Rumi to become a poet.

This book is about the analysis of how the "rigged" systems of American politics and power operate, how this status quo came to be, and how average citizens can enact change.
Surely it is related to democracy because Robert B. Reich shows how wealth and power have interacted to install an elite oligarchy, eviscerate the middle class, and undermine democracy.
Reich's objective is not to foster cynicism, but rather to demystify the system so that we might instill fundamental change and demand that democracy works for the majority once again.

The Human Element I Know is associated with climate protection because it follows environmental photographer James Balog's quest to highlight how the four elements - air, earth, water and fire - are changed by the fifth element, or human activity.

The film, pioneering in video shooting, reveals how global warming has greatly contributed to wildfires and hurricanes that disrupt the balance between man and nature. To study human influence, Balog visits an American island nation and traces the mystics of a fishing community facing rising sea levels. The documentary encourages viewers to reconsider their relationship with nature.
