It links to DEMOCRACY these two things called 'SLAVERY' and 'INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE' spoils the rights, independence and sovereignty of the common people more than any other thing and abolishing these were one of the most efficient steps to establish DEMOCRACY over the world, getting rid of the worst phases of the AUTOCRATIC nations.

  • The book I'm thinking of is the hunger games and it links heavily to the power of perspectives: I the book the reader follows the thoughts of Katniss Everdeen and we get to hear her opinion on the hunger games, which is a novel about a dystopian future where what we currently know as America has been destroyed by war and the country of Panem rises from the ashes. In Panem, there are 12 poor and struggling districts and the wealthy capitol. Each year the capitol hosts the hunger games to remind the 12 districts of the rebellion that took place many years ago and to ensure it never happens again. I think that the power of perspectives is so important because everybody's thoughts differ on the morality of the hunger games, for example, Katniss Everdeen feels that the hunger games is a twisted and unjust practice that brutally sacrifices the lives of innocents for the sole purpose of entertaining the better off. Although we don't hear it in the book, it can be implied that the creators of the hunger games and the capital citizens find it a thrilling television event that is "celebrated" around the country. The reason that the capitol people take such pleasure in the hunger games is because it doesn't affect them, and the book is far more interesting since we get to see from the perspective of someone actually taking part in the games and experiencing the terror. If we had heard the story from the point of view of someone from the capitol we would have thought that the hunger games was an entertaining and fun experience; a direct contrast to the reading experience that we do get.

  • The Film or I should say a Japanese animation series I know is called "Dr. Stone" which is Directed by Shinya Iino and Written by Yuichiro Kido.

The film is about a dazzling green light striking the Earth, scaring everyone and turning them to stone all around the world. Senkuu has created a massive scheme to use science to spark the entire restoration of civilisation, Taiju discovers. Taiju's strength and Senkuu's intelligence combine to form a formidable combination, and they quickly figure out how to resurrect the petrified.

In my lens, this story relates and links to both "The power of perspective" and "Protecting the climate" at the same time.

The power of perspective because in the story, The main character Senkuu uses his knowledge, science and intelligence to rebuild and restore the past modern world slowly through using natural resources. But when some humans defy and go against his perspective, the situation got worse. SO EVERY PERSPECTIVE IS IMPORTANT AND EQUAL IRRESPECTIVE OF STRENGTH, POWER ETC. EVEN A SCHOOL KID CAN CHANGE THE WORLD THROUGH HIS KNOWLEDGE.

And at last, "Protecting the climate" because the story tells us about an apocalyptic event which we can relate to a consequence of climate change and afterwards, Sekuu's actions which we can relate to steps we must take to tackle and protect our climate.

It is linked to PROTECTING THE CLIMATE because its main message is to save the earth and curb climate change. During a flashback, we see a young man who found a way to make a lot of money by cutting down trees and producing fabric and clothing, the power goes to his head and he ends up cutting down every single tree in the valley, with no trees to absorb the carbon dioxide the air becomes unbreathable and uninhabitable. It teaches young ones and old that climate change is absolutely horrifying and we should try our best to reduce it.

As an additional point, I would like to state that this was the very film which inspired me to engage my ambitions for the betterment of the environment and who knows, maybe it can inspire a lot other persons like me which shows a beautiful and encouraging linkage of the film with protecting the climate.

  • The film I know is called WALL-E and is directed by Andrew stanton.
It is about a robot name WALL-E who was left to clean up garbage of an uninhabitable, deserted planet called Earth.
It links to protecting the climate because in this film, we have seen that how terrible the earth will be if there weren't any trees and it urges us to take steps to protect our Earth, environment and climate from that kind of situation.

    1. Yes, it is a very beautiful movie, and it is also educational and teaches people to preserve their planet. I also liked the idea of a robot, because it carries a great responsibility that a person must bear. In my opinion, it will be better than a person doing this work because a person has energy, but it ends in a short time when making the effort, but the robot does not needs energy

    2. Yes I watched Earth's inhabitants evacuated on a fully automated basis luxury BnL stars for five years while an army of garbage compacting robots called WALL-Es and large-scale mobile incinerators on a city block level were left to clean up the planet.
However, the plan largely failed, forcing humanity to remain in space indefinitely. None of the incinerators are active anymore and only one of the other defunct units has a job.💜..

3-The film is linked to democracy and freedom of the press, as the film also presents an important aspect related to the accountability and prosecution of these companies; It was enough for one citizen, as we saw in the film, to file a lawsuit against Cambridge Analytica, demanding access to his data, so that the issue would turn into a public opinion issue, and the importance and role of the press, especially the investigative journalism, which investigated this issue and brought it to the fore, emerges here. general.

  • The FLIM I know is called "Life is beautiful" is by Roberto Benigni. It is about a father pretending to show his son that life is beautiful, while he is in one of the concentration camps of Hitler. It links to power of perspectives because it shows, if everything is taken to be beautiful, then it becomes beautiful.

    1. Sorry for the inconsistency with @insightful_world. But it has never been possible to take everything positively. If so, the United Nations would not have been formed. If the founders were positive about the destruction of World War II, we wouldn't be writing comments here.

We cannot take everything beautifully even if we strive to, because the acceptance of good in everything will lead to new normalizations in the society which will eventually jeopardize the harmony of the society. We cannot take oppression, repression positively because it opposes the holiness of the soul, it violates the human rights.

Take industrialization for example. With the advancement of industrialization, people are being provided with better quality of life, more job opportunities, and many more benefits. But on the other side of the coin, more industries mean more carbon emission, more pollution, and more global warming. If we consider only the positive aspects of it, we will fail to address the curse of global warming, and that sure will not be good for us.

      1. Dear friend, here the perspective neither goes for united nations, nor for US Army. It's all about the father showing life to be beautiful to his son, and at that part, I will say it worked! Cause, at the end when he was being killed, he went to that zone mocking, which made his son laugh! Normally, if anyone knows his father is going to have gun shots, he will start crying out loud. But here, the scene was made somewhat beautiful, as the son was waiting for his father to come and he was hiding himself from the enemies yet in this situation his father made him laugh. No dark cloud of sorrows came to the boy. So, yes, there lied beauty beneath.

    2. Yes, I agree with this book with its wonderful content, and we can describe it as (walk with the flow of life, and if he says right, go right, and if he says left, go left). But I don't see this as true, but a person should object to his life to improve it and then see it as beautiful

2- The book talks about the pessimism about the future of civilization, which was born due to the events of the First and Second World Wars.

It is the humanity decision to choose either to make it safe or break the planet until it is not inhabitable.

This book depicts our biggest environmental problems and challenges that we must face together and not only address it through government and international community.

and also describes the consequences that will result if not The amount of greenhouse gases that humans generate is underestimated and aims to refute critics who say global warming is unproven or that global warming will be negligibl

The film ends in a positive and motivating way for the audience to help reduce global warming, which is that each one of us can reduce global warming through a change in the things we buy, the electricity we use, the cars we drive and also we can make choices to reduce our individual carbon emissions to zero.
We just want our hands on the determination to make it happen.
We have everything we need to reduce carbon emissions, everything but political will.
But in America, the will to act is a renewable resource.
