In April 2022, a song that used AI to clone the voices of artists Drake and The Weeknd went viral on social media.
The creator, known as @ghostwriter, claims the song was created by software trained on the musician's voices.
The song was later removed from many streaming platforms for violating copyright law.
AI and photography
The winner of a major photography award has refused his prize after revealing his work was created using AI.
German artist Boris Eldagsen's entry, entitled Pseudomnesia: The Electrician, won the creative open category of the Sony World Photography Awards.
He said he used the image to test the competition and to create a discussion about the future of photography.
