Last year all three launched their first space flights.
To get on Mr Branson’s rocket plane, people paid around $450,000 per ticket. For that, they got: special training and a space suit, a 90-minute flight to the edge of space and four minutes of floating and feeling "weightless" inside the shuttle.

Yes, everyone should have this opportunity to think about this universe and this great creation, and this trip has its positives. It's a great point, I agree with it but I also see it from another perspective. Every day the resources of our planet are getting lower. Scientists have been looking at ways to find resources in space. It is expensive right now but the benefits that we may have later could be extraordinary.
Also, if we asked for even more money for space travel, it could be a good way of making rich people contribute to society. It would be a win-win situation. They would get their entertainment and we would get more money for research to make our world a better place.

1. I think everybody should have an opportunity to go to space because it will create a new life experience and possibly persuade you to take part more in eye-opening activities that will bring you much happiness later in life. If I had the chance to go to space(and was willing to go), I would have been extremely happy. So, I think this joy should be spread to everyone across the whole world.
2. Although, the cost would be too much for me to pay. Instead of using the money to take part in an activity which involves polluting the atmosphere even more, we could use the money to guarantee that the world will go on for many, many centuries more by planting the 450,000 trees in the Amazon Rain forest. I chose the Amazon Rain Forest because it is the largest forest in the world. Hence, we would be able to plant more trees such as mango, apple and cocoa trees.
80% of the food in the world comes from the Amazon Rain Forest. If we added more trees of different kind, we could increase that to 90%.

If I had $450,000, I would donate the money to charity or use it to fund any NGO or orphanage. In my opinion, space should only be for research and discovery and not just a fun experience or a short trip. I am no hater though, I just think that money serves better uses for humanity at large than it does for individuals. Here's my point, a lot of people need money to survive while some people just need it to thrive. Why not use the money to serve a much-needed purpose than just enjoyment?

I would not buy a ticket to go to space because there are so many problems where I live and I would prefer to solve those problems if I had the money. For instance flooding, over the years in Nigeria flooding has become a major problem; if i had this kind of money I would be able to change a lot of things in the area of flooding. A flood is a natural disaster which occurs due to heavy rainfall and poor drainage systems in communities and the citizens worsen the situation by building structures carelessly without permission from the local government which endangers their own lives. People also dump refuse in drainage systems which clog them and increase the chances of flooding.
